NZ TAB are not letting certain punters on for large amounts! They have totally lost the plot when it comes to what they think a betting agency is!!! This Paddy Power system that they paid $50m for is just a lemon!

Great time of year to get new people to the races, and hopefully they get hooked, and continue to go during the year as well! Only thing is that you will need to be a losing punter or the TAB will stop you! The NZ TAB have stooped to even lower levels with the amount you are able to win. Time that the Racing Minister steps in and makes a fair minimum that is able to be won by punters from a single bet, as $60 is just a farce!!!!!

FFS, MardiGras, if anyone has difficulty with understanding, it is you! The point is, and you can not comprehend, is that the TAB is a betting organisation that is meant to accept bets! The only problem is that they will accept bets from most punters and yet others they will only take small ones or not at all sometimes. Punters are being treated not equally! The fact of the matter also is that it is very ironic that you state that you do not really bet in NZ, so it is rather hard to take your opinion that seriously. You may have an agenda to belittle Brodie, but truth is that you shoot off a BS comment and then not prepared to support it when I offer you the chance to make money! Says it all really!

Fact is, that the NZ TAB are hypocritical in their actions!!! Firstly they restrict certain punters from being able to place bets with them, despite the fact they used to advertise, “you know the odds now beat them” Then it was “are you in” Despite this they treat punters differently, some get on as much as they want and others next to nothing! Then they advertise that they care about punters that lose!!!!! What a load of BS, all they want is losing punters !

FFS, a restricted punter is restricted to an amount, irrespective of what the horse or bet is! It has got nothing at all to do with whether the Bookies have overpriced the horse or not! If restricted punters want to back something it doesnt matter if it is at generous odds or shorts, the punter is only allowed to net a pathetic amount! How on earth are restricted punters treated equally when they are restricted to different amounts, that is BS and you know it, MardiGras!!!! Chief doesnt have to support Brodie at any time, however there is a rogue element, that think they are smart and just want to have a crack at him. I hope that The Spitfire does win a race, as he deserves one for trying ! I wouldnt be putting too much on it though as the field he was in the other day was extremely weak and didnt have to do any work. You would have to ask the question though, why has the 2 Averos’s that have go e to O’Connells both grown another leg ?

You are obviously not aware of how I wager Mardigras! The TAB with their tight restrictions have a very flawed business plan! They should be encouraging wagering rather than turning punters off!!! The odds are always in their favour and by restricting many punters they are losing revenue and profit big time. Not every restricted punter can win on every race and by restricting to small amounts is costing them. Accept the bets and then adjust the price so that they dont take much more on it which encourages wagering on other horses! Turnover is where it is at, if you want to make a bigger profit!!! You will say that paying out to successful punters is not where it is at, but I say the more they encourage punters the more profit the TAB will make, as the odds are always in the betting agencies favour!

My business is not a betting agency! We treat all our customers equally and not unjustly, as the NZ TAB do! A betting agency need to take the good with the bad just like any business! If they cant make a go of it, then get out of the kitchen. We provide a service and people pay for that service, totally different to a betting agency!!!!

So you can watch and bet on it! Cricket is going to lose popularity with it not on Sky!

MardiGras, when you are limited to such pathetic amounts, to win any small amount in a day or night, you need to need to be getting a collect about 50% of the time or you are only making pocket money due to the very small amounts being able to be placed. The betting platform they paid mega millions for has done nothing for the punters whatsoever!
