Booby, I did answer the question! As I said when the curve was flattened and there clearly was no pressure whatsoever on the hospital, I wouldve had more business and industry operating! There was never any sign whatsoever in NZ that it was a deadly virus!! John Curtin was one of the first that tested positive to it and je came in from the U.S.! He stated that it was no worse than the common flu! There were next to no one at any stage in hospital let alone Intensive care!!! Most people that tested positive had no symptoms, and personally dont know or heard of anyone that had it! Not a single person has died in NZ Of Covid19, the rest home people were already in their twilight days and were on do not revive instructions! Everyone that tested positive that had a y reasonable level of health has recovered, and for this we have had our economy stuffed, and future generations severely financially disadvantaged! We have been told due to the over reaction, there would be heaps of people die of Cancer due to no operations, heaps of suicides due to finances etc. There were 4200 people die during level 4 lockdown in NZ From other than Covid19 and 22 total deaths to people with Covid19 not due to it!! As for other things I would do to improve NZ, you would need an hour or two! We are being dictated to by a person that has no idea kf finance but wants everyone under her control! The wheels will fall off without doubt as they are just so incompetent

Booby, anyone can close a country down as Ardern did, but she and Bloomfield have not reassessed things as they should have. The current government are clearly the most incompetent and inept government that NZ has ever had! Name one single member that has been worth their salary? Ardern and co. No one I have spoken to have been able to say what she has done to the benefit of NZ. All 3 of these have been to the cost of the country financially hugely! They have even stuffed up the quarantine system and clearly lies have been told. Ardern can not even sack any of her totally incompetents, as she has no leadership! Reality is that we have got no chance of this lot of incompetents, being able to improve the financial position of NZ after stuffing it financially by shutting it down for far too long without the need!! Of course it needed to be closed down initially but Ardern and her government have not got the necessary experience to run a business, and none of them have experience! Most have always had their noses in the trough! We have not had a single death in Nz to anyone that wasnt a geriatric in a rest home and were on instructions not to revive, or someone under 62 with underlying illness! This is not a killer virus in NZ and experts have clearly stated this, it is less deadly to NZ than the common flu! There are far more people dieing from the lockdown than this flu was ever going to kill in NZ! Stay home and Save Lives!!!! BS!!!!

Sports betting costs can bot be very high?? you need a couple of bookies setting odds and a computer and not a bloody 46million one with $17m annual charges!!! Great that racing back so these young capable Junior drivers can get back on the track, as they are all very hard working! All juniors deserve acolades for working in an industry that is very competitive and hard work and often not delivering what they want! Another name that should be mentioned, especially over recent times Is Korbyn Newman, who has always shown ability. more recently getting the results since transferring to the stable of Robert and John Dunn!

Galah, I have had a go a couple of times at Addington on what I thought were good beginners from a standing start! I expected them to begin well and be handy, but due to the starter letting the tape go when only half the field was ready, it didnt work out that way! Yes you can say thats racing, however when normally poor beginners are first out due to them being on the move forward, it is not a fair playing field! The starter is a former policeman and also a Stipendiary Steward and I believe that he is seen to be untouchable!!

As a punter, I do my wagering on the fact that a horse that I back is up on the gate from a mobile, otherwise my homework is seriously wasted! From a stand, I expect my horse to be up to the tape before the tape is released by the starter! If either of these things dont occur I am probably not going to get a collect. This obviously would not worry the TAB, but to any serious punter, they demand that professionalism is shown by all employees paid by the NZ punter!!

Galah, I do not care about personalities as well, just believe that standing starts should be fair just like mobile starts! If a horse gallops in the run up and checks any other horse before the barrier pulls away, this causes a false start and requires another start! A standing start should be the same, that if a horse is getting an advantage or is disadvantaged then it should not be a start. Too often I can see a standing start where some horses are back and yet the tape is let go!!!!! If your horse misses away over 2000m from a stand, you are history! As I say if the starter is not up to the task of giving all horses a fair start, then do away totally with either the standing starts or the starter! The start that Happy posted, is not a rare thing!!

Just looking through the fields that came out today! The sixth race at Cambridge on Thursday night has the abovenamed race named after females that clearly have big arses!!!! In this day and age, you can not be rascist, comment on peoples looks or favour people due to many many reasons! On this basis, wondering how Cambridge allowed to name a race after females that have got big fat bottoms or arses? There is a lot of females that complain that body image is a major problem with many females and yet here we have it being put out there, that there are all these Fat Arse Females out there walking!!! If this is ok to do, would it be appropriate for a racing club to call a race after well endowed males?
