  1. Yes and a very poor field hunter.
  2. I knew you'd like that brodster!
  3. Seems he is un-nominated now
  4. The way my picks are going 51 is on the money happy!! Aussie gallops is all I'm making money on nowadays!!!
  5. Great field happy, when was the last time we got a field of quality 3yo's or 4yos for that matter with more than 2 or 3 live chances!
  6. And good horses finishing down the track, ansett, maimai...Mel's boy enterprise, hilarious guest portfolio... So many good horses around back then nothing dominated the scene for to long..and the $15 price for Norton unreal
  7. You used to give a few good ones porty
  8. Would be nice to see him get back to his best, adds some interest and a bit of a draw card to rangiora.
  9. Gosh we're talking farthings and shillings with you're bottle of milk before you get into the cot!
  10. Yes its amazing how average horses seem improve with mile racing whether at menangle or the good ole u.s of a....and people go nuts when the horses run a time of 1.50 etc, but that's how the tracks are manicured for speed and can make average horses seem better...Waikiki beach is a good example, excelled on the menangle track and won 15+ races in a row, then came back to nz and was soon found out.......I agree with you Brodie, I enjoy a mile race if its once a year like the miracle mile or the old pan am mile, but not all the time, becomes a bore fest!!
  11. Good stuff rangatira, that was a big finish!
  12. I used to enjoy Glynn Tucker's program, also paddy O'Donnell radio racing show + Phil leishman when he was on t.v, Des's radio show he does on a Sunday is pretty good too, Des along with peter early are the last of the old guard not scared to ask the hard questions especially P Early. The rest are just puppets now from the nzrb. I seriously don't listen to popplewell, guirin and all that crowd for anything now, all the constant moving of the the hands while talking gives me shits, not many Left with any mana, in my eyes anyway!
  13. Good stuff hunter good price, if you hadn't steered me I would have been on ottleys horse!
  14. When I think of the state my mates and myself got into 30+ years ago and drove our cars we were very lucky, they would lock us up and throw away the key now!
  15. Good money Richie, I remember millions and millions think her sister maida million was a pretty good sort. And trevira was a class act.
  16. I also have a crush, I like the way she gets her horses off the mark from a stand and goes hard for the front.....she's not too dusty in the looks department either!!!
  17. Yes was poor, I think she was $6.8 fixed tomorrow, hope I haven't put the Mocker's on it for Steve!
  18. Agree with Steve Paul, mad lu li down in class in r5 and trailer park girl in r8 Good luck in Vegas tomorrow!
  19. Just thinking about that earlier hunter, he's dropped off the radar.
  20. Watties could replace the pea that dropped out his ear, this would double his brain capacity
  21. Can't deny he's very passionate, just a few sandwiches short and very blinkered
  22. We have had some great mares over the years Gavin she was one of the greatest.
  23. This is for you Brodie so you can catch up on the Village news.
  24. Now bag limit was a fantastic horse with speed to burn, pretty sure his career was cut short with injury, Aussies seem to be in a lul like us at the moment with no champion on the horizon.
  25. Pays to follow some of the tips given out on this section happy, if they don't win first week, they seem to Bob up in the next couple of weeks, you have pick some crackers in the last few weeks $23 great money could be the new raphoe!!!
