  1. They also used to have a few heats of the D.B fillies every year at waterlea, not sure if nelson ran a heat, but some to class fillies raced there in that time.
  2. Yes chief, I remember mcshane he was a lovely trotter, I think it was the idoms at Auckland in 1983 that he won his heat?
  3. Amazing, 14 trainers ..I'm surprised, considering as well as the few meetings at Nelson and Blenheim, Wellington and greymouth trots would have been a happy hunting ground for them.....can anyone remember any top class horses to come from that region?
  4. You find "sometimes" with those sorts once they get a win they get a few more quickly. Time will tell
  5. Hopefully better odds next time Newmarket, will win a few
  6. Yes sugar cane was racing so well in much better fields from the mobile and lost form...hopefully a bigger drop to forbury grade helps
  7. Yes happy, I remember raphoe being pooh poohed by some punters on the other site that only liked to back $1.30 favs from a certain stable ...and it did the job twice at big odds!!! Forbury tonight R6 sugar cane $11 R10 machie mac $3.8 Good luck all those brave enough tonight. R10
  8. He's All sizzle and no sausage
  9. He is a bit of a cry baby isn't he!!?
  10. Your completely right Barry, but its a new generation of punters coming through, in 20 years our generations opinion will be redundant.
  11. I hear what your saying re jumps in nz happy, however in the UK and Ireland the flat season shuts down in winter (apart from low class all weather racing) and every race is a jump race its a great spectacle and well patronised....but having said that its something I don't like either, a horse that is absolutely buggerd or even worse the ones that break a leg etc. That is the one good thing about the standard bred they are very tough and hardy. In my dream ideal world every horse would have a good home to go to after racing. But you are right about central nth island harness pity about wellington, I used to love the meetings there, always well attended and plenty from both islands racing.
  12. No nobody cares anymore, the dynamics have changed in n.z (unfortunately) I think gallops are worse off now than harness, at least harness can make it a night out for the office crowd or a novelty grass meeting.
  13. $4 tonight hope you got some portfolio
  14. I know Brodie, I have tons of this stuff and not just about you and me...every time they start their shit up, I will release more and more. If you decide to take it further let me know Brodie... You can see Admin2Admin or "the chief" was the total brains behind the day to day running of R.C and that clown Scooby was just a lowly halfwit that bullied and threw his weight around to the point where the brains left started BOAY and just left the arsehole behind!
  15. Don't worry Brodie this is just to show you how toxic these two guys are...they are welcome to their cespit of lies....its not a good place as most have found out over time. So lets leave them to it ...this one is after ftm had sent me thee unanswered p.ms which were not very nice, then accuses me!! Then Scooby giving private info out...nah bet he hasn't done that before!
  16. I wouldn't worry to much brodster, not many left on harness site on r.c now, all of a sudden "Dr evil"has an interest in trotting because the only ones posting now are "talk shit too much" and now and again the "village idiot" who doesn't know what day it is! So a good time now to move on.
  17. Good stuff happy, I knew you were in business when director didn't hand up....a very good night on the punt...?
  18. Good luck happy...even worse having to wait till the last race gingers crossed!
  19. Hope you have multied up happy!
  20. I like to talk popy... especially after a few pints!
  21. Who has a vendetta? I'm sure punters are allowed to be a little sceptical now and again since they are funding the sport. Unfortunately things do get blown out of proportion, but past indiscretions don't help either, and that goes for a lot of stables.
  22. Yes forgot about that newmarket
