And the much slower time at HQ surely included the fact that she was not ridden out the last 200m (her last 600 in 38:01 cf 34:89 from Chall 2nd-last). THATS THREE SECONDS SLOWER THAN THE 2ND LAST HORSE. Look at the HQ video..she gave up and was tailed off early in the run home after Probabeel left her standing. No wonder she ran nearly 1:16 Restrained from wide barrier, forced wide passing 450m and soon after commenced to give ground rider advising that after being ridden back from wide draw had raced greenly and felt reluctant to hit out amongst other runners

Id be calling that a SENSATIONAL gear move for 2yo's needing them I'd be calling that a common tactic of a hopeful trainer..

and the PROV RESULTS archive is prob the single-best thing about the new site...even though its not about prov results (in fact it's the exact opposite). There is one Tavistock nominated for the NZ Derby that I can see ..Murless (ex Shanro,. a Lonhro mare). /won on debut and looked smart, has been placed in two or three since, incl a fresh-up 2nd a week or so ago. I expect they will want to start him over 1800m (?) or thereabouts in the city in mid-Feb, and bring him over here if showing enough promise; they did this with Rising Red and Persian Raider

fair enough, RM, I havent caught up with the media coverage since Friday. Silly me...but you say: they were a bloody racing stable with jiggers found, locked in a safe ... i didn't know (or read anywhere) that the jiggers were found locked in a safe .. how do you know that..can you recall/verify the source of this info please? Do you know anything about the photo he has so far chosen not to talk about ...

shame he didnt state what charges have been laid...can anyone enlighten me ...and what is the nature of the photo that he has apparently refused to answer questions about?
