  1. I see Matt Anderson was buying yearlings at the Auckland sale. He must have received a clearance to begin training again
  2. CHIEF. Have a look back at your earlier postings on Kerr. You were defending him and stating that there was no evidence to support the claims against him, when there was ample evidence. Hence his life ban. He was not done for mail fraud by the way
  3. Yes Chief, I remember you calling out people on baseless allegations when posts started surfacing about Mitchell Kerr
  4. I don't know how so many owners, and especially trainers, could be so desperate to race a horse on a track like that
  5. There will probably be even more holes in the track for horses to slip on than there was on Friday
  6. Surely this is an acute over reaction in a part of New Zealand that has no current cases of Covid. How can the red light restrictions apply under those circumstances
  7. I can go to a mall where there are hyndreds of people in an enclosed space. Surely going to a racecourse in an open environment is an entirely safer environment
  8. Does Harness Racing New Zealand have any idea how long owners will put up with not being able to go to races and see their horse and talk to the trainer about its prospects. Surely these activities are a large part of the enjoyment of racing a horse. As a result of HRNZ,s overly strict interpretation of the Red Light covid requirements, owners are now not bothering to attend race meetings resulting in even more empty racecources. What will the long term effects of these unnecessary restrictions be. Will owners continue to race horses that they can never see, trained by people they can never talk to face to face. The 80% chance of losing money on racing a horse is surely enough to put people off racing horses without being stopped from interacting with their horse and trainer.
  9. I completely agree with you Chief (for a change). If Auckland goes under then the games over. HRNZ should be doing everything possible to ensure that never happens
  10. A well thought out response Chief, with many relevant facts. One fact that you have overlooked however is that these trainers that seem to be able to lift horses for major meetings, all have a history of using performance enhancers
  11. Chief you are espousing your perception of reality. you have presented no facts to support your claims. there are some hodse trainers who have the ability to increase the performance of their horses exponentially when racing at Premier meetings. How is this done. Horses that seem ordinary, or above average, at trials and minor meetings suddenly grow another leg and improve lengths. why is that unless, they are getting extra assistance which is not permissable within the rules of racing
  12. I uinderstand what you are saying Chief, but what I am saying is that if the doseage was administered 5 days out from a race, it would not show up in a swab. How then have the rules been broken?
  13. I would imagine the shady vet was not only rebottling but diluting as well. The definition of diluted is weakened by the addition of water or other solvent
  14. What improvement would there be in a horse, which has had watered down clenbuterol administered to it, more than 5 days out from a race
  15. If the vet was supplying the trainers with mislabled clenbuterol, how was it (clenbuterol) not showing up in swabs from the horses when they won races
  16. Names please
  17. I endorse everything said about Dave and Catherines great contribution to Harness Racing. Their son Bob is contnuing that contribution and is a rising star in the training ranks
  18. Look at the time it took to charge Mitchell Kerr
  19. I don't know, but it just seemed strange to me. I understand Jones will face changes. These things take time. Maybe the horse was scratched by the trainer
  20. Fine By Me
  21. Flash may not be posting here of late, but he is obviously checking the posts. It didn't take him long to respond to Rangitara's post
  22. Every stable has at least one dog hanging around
  23. Nathan Purdon has leapt out of the ground as a trainer in Australia. He didn't even hold a trainers licence here in New Zealand
  24. You're well informed on the matter Chief. Have you been talking to someone. I see Jones has got another horse scratched, this time at Rangiora tomorrow.
  25. Rubbish Jones was caught in the act
