Anyone serious about live betting would have a Betfair account. Better odds, low takeouts, and for main markets the pools are huge, but best of all the never get suspended. Sportsbet had live options but you had to ring to place bets, which was a hassle and I never did. So at least NZ has live betting, just getting suspended is the problem

Myself and and a few mates have opened Betcha from start…. slowly the promotions are getting less….unless your into boxing. What are the differences? Odds, majority bet types, App, deposit, withdrawal all the same. Betcha- Offer boxing promos and sport mainly, I do get 2nd & 3rd back first 6 races on the 2 harness meetings on a Friday which I like, then usually same on a few meetings Sat. Can take less than 5% units on exotic bets , although at fixed odds it’s a gamble that they pay more than TAB, although I have had good collects when Quaddie pools are small at TAB and fixed odds over on Betcha. Also get bet returns and SGM 1 leg loses offers, good thing about this is you can use on any sport / racing. Offers on dogs too. No tote betting, Fixed or SP TAB- Promos have basically stopped for me, except the first 2 races 2nd,3rd promotions. They offer SGM all ups but that’s about it, same old boring shit compared to Sportsbet. Their Odds Surge pops up, but really their odds are usually so poor early on that it’s hard to find any overs, majority of time odds better close to jump. Also hop onto the BGP site to see what boys have labelled, the sheep on there punt on it regardless of chance…. TAB reacts quickly so usually getting unders. For the record, not had a bet with TAB for several weeks… don’t intend to

I dont think you do much sports betting…. Betcha is exactly the same as TAB, except different promos. They both suspend betting so often and for so long…. That’s not what you want with live betting….

Look, my main peeve is that NZ Racing is dependant more than ever on punters, so even if a punter never bets on NZ racing and only overseas sports, he is effectively helping NZ racing restore tracks, starting gates, stakes, upgrades….. it’s just fucken greedy, entitled pricks that think the can do what they want….. poor old punters getting it up the arse again. Just imagine tomorrow being told that NO overseas wine can be purchased…. as we need to protect local growers, end of story…

You can’t plan the weather, is what it is. But it was wet before first race, forecast was for rain all day, so any dumb arse would know it would get worse, so cancel meeting early on…. then it won’t piss off so many involved

I had a phone call from Sportsbet after they sent me an email saying NZ punters can no longer bet in Aus. She was quite nice, I asked her how many NZ punters she is calling, thought she might weaken and tell me, but all she said was she was about half way through the list…. She then said, any other comments…. I told her I was pissed off with this decision by Entain and there is no way they will get any money that was going to be invested in Aus, her reply was everyone she had contacted so far had similar response 🤣

Don’t follow at all…. obviously not paying their way overall….they need leakage money for training bills.

Hi All, Be interesting to see what % of everyone’s betting will now look like, let’s see if the reclaimed leakage will reward Entain. You know my views 🤣, I’m filthy, hate being told where and how I can spend my hard earnt… Anyway, here is my split again, Sportsbet 45%, Betcha 45%, Tab 10%. Right, so Sportsbet gone now, I will never invest this money in NZ. Tab, dropped them bigtime lately, have withdrawn all money, I may take up a decent deposit match offer if it’s decent, otherwise will not use. So that leaves Betcha, have been given regular promos etc, still peeved so have decided to cut back as well for now. So now, here is my new spend, Betcha around the 25% turnover, Tab 0-10%…. so already a decrease for Entain. I’m sort of looking forward to more time, especially on a Saturday doing other things, and of course more money in the pockets some weeks. Whats your views, do anyone see themselves betting more in NZ 👍

Old Mick loves talking…. Load of BS…..This lump sum money from Entain, will make stuff all difference. It will just go into their dwindling pot…. will be costing them heaps with ads etc, telling punters they can no longer bet overseas. Entain holding government to ransom…they are stating they need to allow betting on Australian dogs….which they think will bring in $44m per year? Do you really see the Greens and the goody club allowing that? This is not going well for Entain… And just to add, I have not bet with tab or betcha all weekend, a first for me for a long while…. I’m gonna keep it up in protest and I hope others follow
