    Wow, so much carnage in this race, hard to believe really. You would expect that shit from a maiden Trot race, not those horses. I am surprised Ideal Chevron wasn’t on the unruly today after his recent circus act, feel sorry for owners and punters. I thought Amaretto Franco was a chance today, but seems to always find bad luck. Steve McRae loyal type of guy, but Thornley seems to make wrong choices majority of time. Still, suppose that’s the difference between good drivers…. And others

    Betfair Aus offerered plenty of promos before 2020, had nothing after then. I actually led first week in the attached $10k promo and had $1000 deposited into acc. Then things changed and nothing offered, pools in NZ got smaller and really I got to the stage of mainly betting on sports or Aus racing, then opened sportsbet acc and they got most of my dough. Don’t miss BF, I was always crap with the lay option😆

    Yeah, I closed my account to although I had to ask them to close, maybe I bet more so they wanted to hold on to me, I would have liked a profit of $300 last couple of months like Galah. I really think Betfair Aus are struggling, I had no issue early on and they offered all sorts of promos, but had nothing for last couple of years. Do 70% betting with Sportsbet which have heaps promos, other 30% NZ Tab, which to be fair are offering more promos to customers. Not missed betfair, but I would say be careful using them.

    Well here is a tip…. Those in the Ashburton committee… forget ya lattes this morning, dig a few holes in places it flooded and get some basic drainage in, it’s simple.

    Well, another meeting off today, why because it’s raining 😆😆😊😆. You can understand recently the wind issues, that is a H& S issue. But FFS, it’s only rain? Shame on trainers that have wet trackers, never get to race on them

    Did anyone see McDonald on this horse in R6 Randwick today? Talk about a quiet ride, was blocked but when clear horse hardly urged? What are your views?

    Yes, agree he is giving the horses a chance. I am just surprised how the team are going, well down on what the stable usually win

    I agree. Just shows how hard it is to win from the back. That drone view of that final turn, anything pulling out or already 3 wide do struggle. I see they said 20 tonnes of grit been placed lately, compacted on inside, but looks pretty boggy out wide

    Well, Methven never get the crowds Mot get, not sure why your annoyed with that. Just my personal view, I no longer punt at Methven due to the constant track conditions. You do know everyone asks the question why horses do not charge from the back like they used to? Is the reason the track upgrade? Funny having the longest grass straight, yet only favours those on pace?

    Agree, let’s have more meetings at Rangiora grass or Mot. Methven track is a joke since they fluffed around with it, nothing comes from the back, yet they still stick to that short distance racing
