Good that this reporter has posted this info, otherwise it would have continued. Harness people are good at covering up shit, luckily some owners spoke up. Totally agree, studying form is hard. In the past, a good horse, that races well on the grass, would be a good bet. Today, forget grass track stats, as long as you begin well, you were in with a big chance

I, like most of you, love the Canterbury Grass harness racing. But what is happening at Methven, it never used to be a leaders track? If you do not settle handy, your goneburger? Odd few have come from midfield, but racing is strange.

I would not say outstanding, but everyone has their own views. Hopefully those owners that have departed the Purdon barn, will spread the horses around. Last thing is we want, is the Dunn stable getting bigger, that would be terrible. Anyone looking for a trainer, should do this. Google the trainer, if he has a long list of charges or dodgy accusations from the past, why not choose a trainer with no baggage.

What is the one trainer that you always seem to lose on. Mine is Robert Dunn, if they have a fav in a race and i am on it, stablemate will knock it off, or vice versa. Just backed Ned Kelly, yep dead last, didnt see race, but once again, unlucky for my wallet. Then I do not follow for a week, have a string of winners. People should pay me not to bet on stable

Is it legal for the TAB to only offer one customer a certain type of bet, yet no other customer allowed same odds? A bit like lotto allowing one customer to bet into a pool with better odds??
