  1. What next for this nag? Went very poorly yesterday against average nags. Best it gets sent to Pitman, he will get a win or 3 out of it in some donkey fields in sth island.
  2. Gotta ticket? No
  3. Galah, I was not saying anything dodgy going on last friday. Was just saying that many were not giving their horses too hard a run, with todays meeting in mind. That fav in that first race had hard run fri, which is why i think silk is my bet of the day.
  4. Closed up
  5. Funny you say that, i had a few bucks on it friday, copped a check, so might have a few bucks on it again.
  6. I dont mind today, i backed a few winners there, usually dont
  7. All, What horses do you see ready for 2nd day. You know how it works, many trainers just give their horses a wee run first day, run a place then try harder 2nd day. Silk is one i think will win. Settled 4th in indian file, plenty of time to get off rails, but stayed there, ran home strongly for 3rd. Get on. Anyone have veiws?
  8. Be interesting to see what stipes mention about this camel tonight. Hopefully they get Todd Mitchell to trial it many times, before it fleeces punters again.

  9. Has Wayne or Brodie, if he is the same person, taken a back seat from racing, Wayne Higgs was gonna set the world on fire, seems he spent plenty of dough, for not much in return? Good on him thou, i like those that follow their dreams. Was it White Arrow that was his best performer?
  10. Dont think Ivan is restricted
  11. I remember he had Meadow King in the 80s, maybe he just looked old when he was young?? Surely must be over 80, good on him i suppose to be still in the game
  12. Globe, great that after a day with the high flyers at the jewels, you are convinced harness is on a high? Can you explain what you base that on? Just a few people in syndicates that go to the races twice a year and have a good time? Harness can not survive on this alone, it is only a few meetings a year where anyone turns up at addington? How is turnover going on harness in nz, that should tell a story?
  13. Well, Looks like they are back at Cambridge next year racing on the Sat, while they also race the night before?
  14. Gee, with old Ivan training, i would want $100+ on that nag
  15. Not sure if it was the weather or because it was at Addington, but i just couldnt get too excited about it today. Watched them all, but just another day really
  16. I would love even 5% of my life time losing deposits
  17. So if rusty deposits $1000 this weekend, and he has nothing left monday, you get 25% of this $1000 loss amount? Do you not get anything on his turnover?
  18. What a terrible race to watch. Many punters will be more keen to not bet today at Addington, not sure why they didnt postpone meeting. I hope i am wrong, but wouldnt surprise me if serious accident on that track today.

    Fog?

Good luck boys with your runners sat.
  20. Yep, you were right. Strange Felaar racing in front? But to be honest, horse raced poorly. And to think Kawi was called a softy by a certain person!
  21. Your right about the flu. Really hitting people hard
  22. Too right. If nobody saw the race, have a look at it. Began safe but slowly, settled back on inner. It was bolting the whole way, keen as
  23. Yep. What happened to it after Ashburton run? Any ideas
  24. How impressive was this winner today. Cruising the whole way, and showed real speed after getting off rails to sprint away to win well. I will put my head on the line, this horse will go far. Lets see if it stays in nz, or will somebody offer up some big offers for it. Come on Glenn Gillard, keep the horse in your stable, decline the offers, otherwise you will regret it.
