I guess $32k and $45k for winning a maiden race in Victoria Country isn't good enough for some!  Mind you Farknuckle (aka @Joe Bloggs ) and @nomates are perennial whingers and anti-racing.  How are those Roc De Cambes going Mr Wallace?

As for the @Comic Dog I've never dissed Te Akau on RaceCafe but I guess you think I did because you misidentified someone as me.  Which you do all the time because of your paranoia.  Who's watching who?

I see Mark Walker has the second highest Victoria Country meeting strike rate at 21% with the lowest number of starts at 60.   Not too shabby for a stable in only its first full season.

Still a hard road, that Aus market is very hard to break into.  Don't quote me, but I think many of the other NZ trainers that have gone over there have taken several years to make their mark as they establish the contacts and clientele

I've read where Te Akau have picked up some big Australian clients.  The hardest part from what I see is the step up in the class of horse and then placing them.  Winning at Cranbourne, Ballarat, Werribee, Pakenham is harder than winning at the majority of our NZ tracks.

But then the money is so much better.  You don't earn $800k winning 13 races plus placings in NZ racing in maidens and benchmark races.

They did have a good winner at Werribee yesterday, Royal Rendezvous….. came from a mile back to power home.

Pretty shabby for a stable spending the $s they are and with the setup they have in NZ.

Funny how you ignore the fact they have more firepower in than anyone in NZ but spruik them as underdogs in Aus.

They won't be happy with how Aus has gone for them initially , they should have the firepower to be competitive there.

To be accurate well above the average price of the yearlings Te Aku bought.  Have you done the comparision with Maher, Waller or Waterhouse?  Doesn't Waller have over 400 horses in training?

You miss the point as always such is your obsession of being Anti-Racing.  No I don't spruik them as underdogs in OZ.  I just put a realistic assessment on the class of horse racing in the areas that the likes of Te Akau and other NZ Trainers are competing.  

From all reports they are VERY happy so far considering they haven't had a full season with their Cranbourne stable up and running.

You don't make excuses for those trialling in their wake in NZ ,so why are you always looking for an excuse when they don't meet expectations?

Any fan boys have to be realistic at some point.

FFS go find another sport to moan about.  All your posts are full of innuendo, inference and supposition - very rarely any facts if at all.  You struck me as the person who blame there lack of success in the sport of racing blame everyone else instead of your own decisions.  A bit like @Joe Bloggs buying a Roc De Cambes and then spending the rest of his life justiying the decision!

Move on!  I know lots of people who are having fantastic fun for a small investment and not just with Te Akau!  BTW don't tell them but I'm a fan of Go Racing (have quite a few friends in horses with them), Wexford (the younger generation really knows how to market and get young people involved and a few other syndicators.  Not so keen on the FRAC'ers!

I suggest @Huey you spend your first pay packet and buy a small share in a few horses and enjoy the fun!
