Newmarket
Anyone else find many of the J Dunn/R Dunn horses hard to find? Backed Franco Niven, poor effort after every chance in front, stablemate wins race? But Valleria and Spot On??? Christ they have been struggling to keep up lately, but all of a sudden they strike form????

I backed Franco Niven, yes didnt go that well but well driven and well trained. Good to see him lead virtually all the way on Spot On too, making a statement too if he rolls to the top the lead isn't necessarily there if Mark and Nat come looking 2

Christ they have been struggling to keep up lately, but all of a sudden they strike form???? I backed spot on and had him on top on recent form,i also backed franco nevin but thought he just went a bit too hard, maybe because of the parked horse giving him no time for a breather. I didn't fancy any of the first 3 in that one,and find The DUde a hard hose to follow. As to Valloria,i had him rated 5th but it is a very capable horse with the right run,and destiny jones breaking early helped. Kings landing looked like it had issues which saw it underperform. The all stars seem to have a few who look like they carry a few issues these days. Sometimes you can have a good stable,or horse, that never seem to go as good when you back them. I know its a bit frustrating when that happens, however I think its just coincidence most of the time,as most stables are consistent, its more just the way the race is run that can alter form. Valloria is more than capable. It took Majestic Man all he had to run it down in the last of his six wins. It didn't surprise me to see it at the head of that field at the end. Will make the Jewels all the more interesting, although Kings Landing was not happy at all, so I hope ( not) they sort him out in time . Belle of Montana went huge, good horse this one, franked it's previous form nicely.
Newmarket
John Dunns whipping these horses about 400m out, turning these races into real stating events. Reminds me of Neil Brady, Jamie Keast, Chris Webber, Kevin Townley all of a few years back? Mmmm

What he is saying he has no idea how these horses are being trained, do I bit of home work and ask anyone who how's anything about the Dunns and you will find out how much work goes into getting them ready , then ask around again and you will find out they would be some of the fittest in any race and are driven apporpriately. 2
LongOwner
Jesus what BS - Franco Niven draw nine and gets a serve to make the lead then his uncles horse attacks him on the outside all the way and runs 4th . The horse is not a machine - maybe ask Gerald O’reily about his tactics as he dropped out and didn’t give his horse a chance .

Your a funny man. Tell me this, Certain stables get other trainers cast offs, been battling for months, yet comes out and wins easily after being with new trainer for a few weeks?? Now, you say its because they hard train them? FFS, your dreaming mate, anybody but you knows that it takes more than a couple of weeks to get fitness into a horse? Its bullshit, just wake up and look at who has been charged over the last 30yrs, that tells you the story. Hate the dodgy shit that goes on in harness, but people like you turn a blind eye. Really hope they come down hard in the inca case, because a slap on the wrist hasnt worked for many in the past, just look at their records!

So trainers are of all equal ability? You are saying many trainers are doping? Not just certain stables, as horses do improve when they move...maybe that is why they move?
Newmarket
Just watching last race Timaru, did I hear correct that Mcgrath has been training Madeleine Stow? Wins easily, shows Nyhan still training? Now i know they had car accident, but who is training their horses? Joke

How do you make a horse competitive after a few weeks, that has been tailing the fields with previous trainer? Either first trainer should find out what he is doing wrong, or new trainer has a few tricks up his sleeve. The fitness thing is oh so overated
