I was reading the JCA reports today and he initially even had an oar in the Hollie Wynyard case. Actually without him she and the RIU came to a reasonable and fair solution. The way I see it if its not the Grace Millane outcome then more than likely someone else. About 13 years ago he accused the then Racing Board CEO of sexual molestation in the workplace. Only thing that has ever amazed me about the guy, is the huge support he gets by some of his racing mates? Through all the disgusting and terrible things, he still has mates? Leo can give it and also take it without grudges despite what you may think. I have got to know him reasonably well without socialising with him. What I have found out is that beneath the exterior that he displays to his detractors is a very generous heart. When he is down to his last dollar he still donates his time and his money to others that need support. My daughter is involved with the Auckland City Mission so I know he supports that cause on a regular basis. He may well shoot from the hip however his self promoted expertise is well below what is required. Personally I've been subjected to his personal vile abuse for no reason other than disagreeing with him. In my opinion he is doing more harm than good even though I agree with some of his intentions. If he applied his brain more intelligently and listened to people that have given good advice he would be OK. You undermine your cause when you publicly call someone a callous racist cunt or a respected High Court Judge a twat.
