Where are the protocols that you refer to?  You don't know do you?  You just assumed and made it up!

Do your own research and stop being a clown. Ask your old mate Leo? But just to help you out any open lacerations are a no go as are any signs of lameness when either horse is trotted up or flexion  testing done by registered vet.

Im sure the above wont  be enough for you but i dont care as will others with an IQ above 30

So you don't know?  Typical!

I've never known anyone called Leo that I would call a "mate"!  More crap from Flash.

So where are the written protocols?  For integrity purposes there would have to be written guidelines at least.  Although one wouldn't be surprised if there weren't any.  Shit if there were Pete Lamb would have been sacked years ago!

How many were tested?  In the interests of Integrity (the RIU's middle name) and transparency shouldn't that be publicly notified?

i guess it will be in the stewards report that will be available "soon" after the last today

the racing units version of soon is often at odds with my version and very much so yesterday

JJ what are you up to? Come on here to inject insults and toxicity, then creep back over to RC to post nicely & copy what has already been posted here first re Lamb start (Ranga’s post) & Johnny Nevitas (Ranga).

Why only focus on those horses that have significant amounts of money on?  Does the Vet check EVERY horse that races?  NO they don't.

race day vets are acting on the stewards advice/instruction. 1/ take pre-race blood swabs list  2/ take the post race urine swabs of winners (and possibly others the stewards ask for.  3/ Assess horses Post race that have not performed to the Stewards expectations. (check heart ,etc)  4/ check horses condition Pre-race IF notified of an incident (such as got down on the float, got a kick, etc) by the Trainer or the Stewards.

Good vets can spot things before you. I had one all over me like a rash as came back in to stable area after a race, with blood in one nostril .so I just told him I hit the barrier arm with the pulling poofter.

In the past there has been many a good (if not great) horse scratchy or pacing rough in their warmups

It's a tough caper. Most trainers have been going around for years. A Lot of horses have issues with hooves and tendons (These have The vast majority of lameness issues) as the forces generated on them are enormous. No trainer would start a horse they know well , if even remotely thinking it was sore enough to be a hazard to others. I'd estimate from experience about 1 in 10 racing has some sort of minor issue . just like human athletes.

The horse on this thread is only new to the Trainer by the sound of it , so stewards have every right to scratch it , and YES , a knowledgeable Vet would have a few minor tests he/she could perform. some are very simple such as feeling heat in a hoof with your hand. A sure fire sign of hoof ailment.

Wouldn't worry about it Karrots.  I don't even though I find him bloody annoying.  The good thing about JJ Flash is he is consistent and transparent.  You can always see through him!

LOL are you sure they got that right?  Wouldn't want real facts to get in the way of the beat up now would we?

Well leonne jones was formally in partnership with peter jones as trainers. Husband and wife. Cam jones is her son.

Cam jones uses peter jones colours.  2 plus 2 =4 to me.  Whats it to you.

I was being facetious.  You quoted the media as a source.  I was just pointing out how can you actually believe anything they write?

Arvo Troll, clearly your not reading all the posts.

Correct i posted news from RIU reports which  are public knowledge, as in the HRNZ Stewards reports.  As for Lamb, does it interest you that i started that thread on 14th December 2020 - i may have well started a similar one re Cup Day shambles - so nothing new there.  Do keep up the conspiracy theories re my posts if it makes you Happy

Good to see you are enjoying RC, some good posters over there just as there are here. eg Basil, Gamma The Galah to name a few.

Ok Chief, fair enough, you are very tolerate. Imagine if one of us regulars joined up over there & behaved like that there.

I suspect they would chase that person off, or have words with them and rightly so. Doubt they would tolerate it.

There is room for both sites anyway. Gives different personality types choices too & some can be on both.

Anyway moving on.

Lamb is untouchable it seems. He has stuffed starts galore over a long period and little done. Addington sacked him but he continues to stuff up at other tracks. Sack him for good NZHR.

Can i assist you here - its the clubs who hire the starter. The only thing HRNZ does is license the starters, form filling exercise effectively..

How does he keep getting a license? Hopefully, the promised code of conduct, if it ever appears, will include accountability and criticism of starters and stipes?

Because with the the exception of NZMTC the other Canterbury clubs want him. I suspect their is also a potential legal issue lurking in the background
