You know what, I think he has a good chance. Aucklanders won’t care about his past, he is well known and will put up a fight.

Will be very interesting indeed

Well known to whom? The racing community?

Ask any 20-30yo (or anyone outside the racing community) and they'll have no idea who the man is.

You don't often remember the name of the man pouring your drinks.

If you are neutral then why do all the social media posting?  Some of us don't have this pathological need to feel wanted or part of a group as you do.

Read what i post dummy , you and others are infatuated by him based on ALL YOUR POSTS. If you want proof look at the first post and work down. Me i'm neutral and as such have no ax to grind with him as  hardly know the chap.

If you dont want peeps to post just say so for the above crap about pathological is another example of your usual nonsense when something/someone  is not agreeable to you.

Then why post about him both here and elsewhere?  Are you being paid to do it?

Not at all - BOAY tolerates diverse opinions (unlike other channels) however you don't seem to post any just little childish snipes!

Neutral as has always been the case but don't let facts get in the way of your obsessional pouting's. Your gold at that.

In fact your above  reply reeks of "pot calling kettle black"

He clearly irritates you yet based on his posts elsewhere i'm of the view he could not give a toss about you- wonder why??

NEUTRAL....What a joke.

The person in question has irritated maybe hundreds with his postings and going on some revelations his business dealings.

Most people get into racing to enjoy, participate and hopefully make a contribution. Without any provocation Molloy has responded with personal abuse often researching a persons past and twisting facts to smear that person. I daresay numerous poeple have given up racing as they don't want the hassle.

I don't know how long you've been on these forums but I've been in on the long haul so I've seen the postings many under different names even when agreed legally he would not post.

I suggest you shake off the Molloy abuse mentality and show some sense.

Because you started a post about him and this was an update on his contempt case. Unlike  some i can post on both sites and im pleased you read your old site as it might ameliorate your ignorance on some racing issues

Not being paid by anyone - you are really now stooping low  with that question. Can you and others not recognize and accept I'm neutral about Leo . Never done me any harm  so in my world that makes me neutral

So you posted on here because I did?  You say you are "neutral" yet go out of your way to keep us "updated"?

I just added to your post- thats what peeps do in forums!! Some people do not get or read the Herald where this article was sourced.

FFS im neutral about you and others  obvious nemesis. Are you that thick you cant accept that. Better still ill do what you do - prove im not neutral and get some more click bait whilst your at it . That can be the only reason you engage in such nonsense.

He's an interesting character who has clearly got under your skin. That's your issue to resolve not mine.

You are extremely naive or very fortunate to not have the vile little man with an ego bigger than Saturn turn on you.  I'm sure there is at least one reporter out there with a hatchet dossier on the little fella.  Politics at that level can get very grubby hence my reference to the parapet.

OMG,  you must really have some serious issues with him to make those and previous comments. What's that saying about "revenge being sweet". as you sound like you will do all you can to derail anything he has involvement with. Whatever spins your wheels!!

FYG I must just be fortunate cos I'm certainly not naïve.

He who lives by the sword can expect to die by the sword.  Trust me I'm not the only one who has what you call "serious issues" with him.  There are certain standards I would expect of the Mayor of our largest city and his recidivist behaviour falls well below those.

You obviously weren't involved or can't remember the crap dished out on the other channel both publicly and behind the scenes.  I was an observer and an administrator of the site at the time but he crossed the line once too often for my liking.  Quite frankly his behaviour wasn't too far removed from that of Jason Waddell except that he was smarter and more cunning.

Don't be fooled by his eloquence.  I'll reiterate there are any number of people that will attempt to torpedo his mayoral campaign regardless of any commonsense or good policy that he may espouse.

Know plenty of people who been fooled by it as well. All starts out good, then his true colours show up. Had issues with little man trying ban what had to say about him. Since talks big game and can't handle the accountability.

Everyone knows I am no fan, that is for sure.
But he is well know, mostly for all the wrong reasons. But if voters do not recognise anyone but molloy, he will get the vote.

Has no hope. You will find JT and for what its worth Tamaki will be backing him.His multi millionaire patrons will throw  some funds in the pot.

As an ex bankrupt who cost taxpayers 400k plus it seems just a profile exercise.

Be good to see Winston enter the contest.

Even that  repugnant ex truck stop waitress Paula Bennett would towel him.

All a publicity stunt regardless this far out.

HR, why call out Paula? I don't know her, however I travelled to Buenos Aires on the first AirNZ flight into the city a wee way back and Paula was in Business, McCaw was in that cabin also, Paula heard a baby crying in our cabin, just behind Business, she walked through, and offered to nurse the crying Bub while her Mum took a well earned rest.......she must have been nursing and walking for an hour or more, no make up, trackies on, and looked quite contented with the job she took on......I have the utmost respect for her, she had no idea who that Mum was, she was a Latina retuning to SA.......a good turn, from a decent person.......just saying.

Lovely anecdote.I refer to her lawyers desist letter to the young man who's mother was her best mate in the 'good ole days'...she never 'deliberately mislead Social Welfare!'

Of course she became the archetypal; 'westie chick' resplendant in leopardskin ...until lapbelt surgery and voila a North Shore butterfly emerged.

Real Estate is a great career step for her...albeit I had the misfortune to see her fronting probably the most cringeworthy 'show' ever on T.V the other night.(they even dusted off Frank Bunce as the obligatory AB and ...drum roll..the Topp Twins to make up a sad collection of 'celebrities'!

Don't see JT backing him, got many unions in Labour backing him last time. Caused a we issue, as of course JT was against Ardern we mate Goff and  Ardern called a Labour Party high council meeting!. JT got many backers, a trust and uniojns behind him moving forward.

Only ones dumb enough vote and support Molloy, be protest vote. National find someone go against him and Goff or some yes man to Clark and Ardern stand for Labour. No hope for Leo.

Winston even be bigger tool than Goff, get nothing done.

For a bigger tool' Winston is arguably 1 of the most influential politicians in NZ in the last 30 years.

Leo just posted this in response to Insider's post (Liz)

Why don’t you buy the Cafe off the owner then Daryl ? seeing you seem to know how he should run it …..or is this your limp wristed woke leftie side coming out whereby you know how everyone should act and think….as long as it’s the same way you choose to act and think ?

Remeber the golden rule ? ……..he has the gold, he makes the rules"

He mentions Daryl.... does Liz go by Daryl at all? Surely he's not that obsessed with me that he's confused me with Liz?
