  1. How can he honestly "deny the charge"?
  2. Any proof? Or do you prefer to just slander?
  3. That's uncalled for and harsh.
  4. The Warwick Stakes first ran in 1923. They changed the name in 2018 to the Winx Stakes. Still maintains its group status. Was actually upgraded to Grp 1 along with the name change. Many examples of name changes to Grp races in OZ.
  5. Yep those that cough up the dollars can put their name to anything.

  8. No define the "signal"?
  9. What sort of "signal"? The bird or a tap on the nose or a wink wink?
  10. The "Blueprint Manual" is flawed. Greene wants it fixed. I realise your intellect is insufficient to suggest improvements but can you try?
  11. Ok so you HAVE read it. No wonder the starters are distracted they only have six workers. Can you find the words "ALL CLEAR" in the manual? Or are you selective in what you read?
  12. Has anyone noticed that horse's wearing blinkers are whipped more than those that don't wear them? The Mitigator and Soleseifel spring to mind.
  13. The manual doesn't say that. The manual doesn't say what signal has to be given. As far as manuals go it is flawed. 12 people wouldn't be sufficient for a full capacity 2400m field. Especially given all the exceptions made for poorly educated horses. Who approved blind folds, ear muffs and cuddle blankets anyway? All of those can be eliminated by better education. Geez why not use your approach and breed out those that do need them.
  14. Instead of travelling the Roadshow just follow the attached Flowchart! V3 Venue Flowchart.pdf
  15. BTW - "The Manual" doesn't mention the words "ALL CLEAR."

  17. Except it isn't standard throughout the world. For example OZ, Hong Kong and Japan do it differently. Japan for instance have 2 barrier attendants per horse. No one holds a horse from a top of the barriers during a start. If you have observed recent starts throughout the country the mandatory minimum of eight attendants is not being met unless the starter is included in that number. Because it isn't a practical signal in that environment. There should also be a visual signal e.g. a flag. So what's your point? Do you want the manual changed to give the RIU a clear role behind the barriers?
  18. The "Manual" is flawed. Aside from that what's your point? What different outcome do you want?
