  1. There is a very good posting over on the “other site” by Insider. He seems in total agreement with you, only different words. If the NZ Racing Board through their Chief Excutive John Allen can’t respond immediately, everyone of them must go immediately. I for one will be pursuing it until they are. (Gone)
  2. Me too.
  3. I thought that it was Wairoa.
  4. Thomas, what was your headline? I just get sick and tired of the clueless or uneducated attacks on Trentham from posters in the North. The race today between the two great mates was fantastic and had me enthralled all the way down the straight. It is a fact that they got off the rail very very early in the program that sadly says that the drainage isn’t working properly yet. LET me assure you that it will in due course. It took five years for Trentham to come right after they did exactly the same with their lateral drains. I know that people don’t believe me when I say it, but the soil structure still needs to change after years of compactment, before they will work at maximum capacity. If you still don’t believe me check out the quality of surface Trentham has provided for the last 3 years excluding of course the June/July meetings in the middle of winter. Cheers all.
  5. Pete, here are the facts.
  6. Come on Pete.....Trentham's rainfall for the 24 hours to 9:00 am THIS MORNING was 46.4 mm.
  7. What the fuck would you know? Look how the track is playing. Trentham has had much more rain in the last 48 hours (56.3mm) than Ellerslie, yet look at the difference! Sort out your own problems before mouthing off about something you know nothing of. P.S. They will be lucky if there is not an accident later today at Ellerslie as they all try to get to the outside fence or possibly over it.
  8. Tell us more. Where did you see her?
  9. I wonder if it is the horse that I have with Pitty, that he thinks is a possible candidate? Probably is I guess, given how it performed on Wednesday!
  10. Of course it’s a done deal. It was stupid, never going to save Thorougbred racing any money, destroy a large part of it’s hard core fan base, and from a political point of view erode the New Zealand First vote for sure. Now they can get on and sort out the real problem....The Racing Board (TAB), their excesses, their bad decisions, the Racing Act, Race Fields Legistation etc. At the same time NZB should look at where they are wasting their money and I would start with the million dollars that they are putting into two races on Karaka Millions day/night.
  11. Every other jockey rode like a cowboy so don’t worry. Ray Cochrane must have wondered where the hell in the world he was!
  12. We had better follow suit before more damage is done or we are too late.
  13. Mark D, please tell me why I am an idiot (eejit)
  14. Sadly Otaki Maori have chosen to go alone. They were not a good member of the original Wellington Cluster or RACE, (pulled out of RACE) so all decisions are their’s and their’s alone.
  15. Has the Chief Stipe gone on annual leave??
  16. Pete, you can say and think what you want. Obviously it’s starting to become lonely over on your side. Did you see the poles this week’s? I know that you were brought up thinking that you were born to rule, but look at the fuck up you created over the last 9 years, especially with the way your team “chaired” the Racing Industry. Dont bother replying as I certainly can’t be bothered wasting my time with you. ?
  17. Are you saying that Brian worships false god?
  18. I couldn’t have said it better myself. ??
  19. I agree with the stripes about some of these comments. As a breeder, if they are not inclined to run, I am not inclined to breed from them. Everyone will be following suit in 10 years anyway when the whip has all but disappeared. Maybe even sooner.
  20. That’s right......someone somewhere has to pay so the boys can do what they like, so long as they aren’t getting a better ride than all the rest of us. ?
  21. Furthermore I understand that Matthew Horton is Sue Woods son in law! You couldn’t get more “right” if you tried, not that I have a problem with Sue.
