    Yep, half a million is being given to Ellerslie in two weeks just to partly fund the two $1 million races plus of course all the other races are funded to to their normal level! Leggy, get stuck into that.

    The truth is that not one cent of industry money (RIB or NZRB) has been spent on the racing service in the last 25 years. (Fact) It is true that the new NZRB about 22 years ago spent $1.5 doing up the or refurbishing the Members Stand. (Fact) Reefton, prove me wrong regarding paragraph one, or apologise and withdraw your untruth. I don’t disagree with much of what you say though regarding the treatment of small clubs.

    I have just been told that this quite attractive (passable) Asian lady is the perfect match for me! Where did they get that idea from, as she’s about 20 and I am 70+? I am using an iPhone 8 and from time to time I get locked into the add syndrome situation too Get rid of them (well most of them) and the site traffic will grow substantially. Half the time it sort of locks up, (with adds) so I just give up and go back to RC. ?

    Now I could be wrong, but I think I heard that he was put down because of laminitis in his good hoof. (The un-injured one). That would be caused, because the good foot was taking all the pressure since the injury.

    I just go along flashing my lights at the on coming traffic all of the time. It slows them all down! What is wrong with that??

    Yes that was Waikato Stud one year. It was a disgrace. I don't know if that is who you are talking about, but they certainly did it.

    Two things are pissing me off tonight. 1) A friend of my being charged for doing something on behalf of all decent living beings. 2) The adverts on this site, especially the unsolicited, undesirable type. ?

    Saundry quite simply needs to move back (return ASAP) to Australia and relinquish his $250K salary. Bernard, please tell us why I am wrong or why you have something to offer and should stay! On the other side, talking about other highflier’s of the trans-Tasman variety I guess Sir Ron Brierley is also on a one way trip back across the Tasman, sooner or later. Just saying ?

    Needs a change of rider. Elliot just doesn’t suit her. I would try one of the women jockeys.

    I think that it’s a great start. Yes, I would change around a few little things like increasing the type size of the Race name, stake, class, distance etc. Also the breeding and the owners need a slight increase. I do like the large size of the horses names.

    Further to my earlier posting, the TAB app on my own phone locked up this morning!!! I knew that it wasn’t the TAB’s fault as the app on my wife’s phone was working perfectly! To fix my one, I simply turned the phone off and back on. ?

    You could argue that the way the Japanese horses are going in Melbourne that Australian Group One racing isn’t up to International standard either! Trying to grade Group racing to one standard is impossible. When they changed It was a mistake. Japan, HK, Turkey, France, Germany, England, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ and Australia all have Group racing as we all know and all are different aren’t they?

    Are you for fucking real? Whilst things are a little slow in turning around the Titanic, it was 9 years of a National Government that couldn’t have given a monkey’s about racing that’s created the problem(s). Having said that, they (the Nats) did have a major with the Christchurch earthquakes and JK’s attempts to cuddle up Obama, amazing as that may seem. Maybe it was simply golf and a condo in Hawaii that was the catalyst for his lack of focus on the real issues.

    I think that the owner is pulling the strings. The young Mr McKay obviously didn’t agree with the direction the owner wanted, so off to the Rogerson setup she went. After today’s result who looks the silliest now? Such a shame for a filly that had huge potential, which sadly I don’t think we will ever see now.

    Pray tell me. in today’s environment what would they have done in Mr Brown’s case? Based on what has been put forward here, fine someone I guess, just who I don’t know!
