  1. I thought in the in last couple of seasons the southerners had started to hold their own. However, when you the have trainers like Court and Dunn turning up with good types instead of going to Addington it makes it harder. To be fair, Mark Jones has lifted his game recently and seems to be doing better (unless I wasn't paying attention) so you can add him to the list. They all must using the 7 secret bowls of success manufactured by you ?
  2. Who is KS?
  3. Isn't it. The world will never be the same and it isn't all good. Back in the day the lack of information about people and places would create legends in our own minds. Now that can be blown away by one silly comment or action on social media which I consider this to be. A lot of the time you can't see the motivation for a post. We believe it is a 'piss take' because Westview says so. But, we did not know of the situation of the individual who 'dobbed' House in. So the post is put up with no context at all. This is why it is a foolish thing to do. But really, who cares, tomorrow it will be forgotten, but I will just be slightly less impressed by the harness game and the perception I have of Mr House.
  4. Dob him in based on the interview? I watched it but what did he say in the interview that was incriminating enough to do that?? It seems INCA and this episode shows the great response to the Margo Nyhan and Peter Davis was a blip rather than the norm for the harness industry. To me it seems like there is a lot of in fighting, distrust and bitchiness. Childish. Most certainly in my book.
  5. I don't believe I have inferred both points you make above. Only the second one. House has basically said the improvement is down to drug administration. He could have said he has changed his training methods but no, he choose to say he has every drug at his fingertips and the trick is not to have them in the horse's system. Either way, he comes across as naive. Maybe as much as some on here about ACS etc. Noticeably, Westview has not contributed anything to this discussion, or Brodie. Why is that? I wonder if Westview can confirm jj's claim he will be smiling about this?
  6. No, she is barred from the RSA bingo after the summer at Brodie's where she learnt everything about gambling.
  7. But I have no selections. They would just be guesses!
  8. If that is the case, then the writer of the comments is foolish because if he bothers enough to say that sort of thing in a public forum about drugs and their administration in such a loose manner to simply take the piss he is indeed just that - foolish But that is ok, FTM, each to their own.
  9. I have nothing to offer. I am like the Brodster - in exile from betting but for different reasons.
  10. You mean the people who don't agree with you?
  11. I suppose in reality there is nothing to answer for with these comments. They are acting within the confines of the rules and only expressing actions which are permitted. I await the predictable justifications of the comments which will hold truth, but really, this bravado and ignorance is a disservice to the industry.
  12. So Michael House's runners are performing very well. Trent Yesberg's always run pretty well. So now we know why. All legal of course. So no drama from me, but maybe, now we know the key to success is through medicating the horses? Imagine if an All Black said that publicly or an Olympic runner said they do that but in the windows of safety so they don't get caught. SAFE will love it - horse racing trainers are openly stating about using performance enhancing drugs on horses to get the best out of them. Horse are just commodities which get abused for financial gain and it is cruel. I am not naive but why would you say that publicly? Since they sent a junior driver back to harness school, maybe they should send these two back to trainer's school for some PR lessons.
  13. What the f**k are they thinking.
  14. Champion idea.
  15. I see on HRNZ he is 50 50 to ever race again after another setback. Might be the end of his career which is a shame.
  16. Fair enough. It is an event rather than a race day. The racing is secondary. I think it just turns off the person who has some genuine interest in racing from attending. Each to their own. ?
  17. 1.49.1 - Impressive indeed, however, I am not a fan of times as they don't win you big races.
  18. My brain is in total paralysis now ?
  19. Too true but it will be a massive effort to win off 50 over a short trip first up or am I underselling his ability?
  20. I see he is off 50m over 2400m at Winton on Sunday with a couple of tough types off 20m. Will be a good watch.
  21. Methven could be at Ashburton and the Brodster is Ginger Rogers? I feel dizzy like I am racing right handed.
  22. My name is Fred Astaire. You are in safe shoes.
  23. To another grass one?
  24. So you want it to pour? I will stay out of the weather dancing as I am looking forward to the 15th.
  25. Good to hear but the message is somewhat contradictory isn't it? Is there a possibility it will cut up?
