    You dribble so much garbage T4Eva I don't know how you breath. Too many tracks and half of them are currently closed. As for a consensus from big trainers well they just spout the company line and try not to upset the establishment, waste of time listening to them if you want the real lay of the land and most of them can't see beyond the end of their own horse truck anyway, so take everything they say with the inherent bias it is laced with!

    Just another version of the KM, we will soon have the breeders screaming out for blacktype status for these new races & they'll probably get it. Can NZ Blacktype be discounted anymore, answer to that is probably yes.

    Crooked as a bent stick, both have history in this area. Whats more alarming is why its taken so long to release this confirmed info, these guys are the poster boys for NZ at The Quokka all over trackside and have been given a horse to train for the TAB racing club ... an embarrassment to the industry.

    Appalling programming for an Easter weekend , this is why the sport loses the general public they just have no idea and they'll sit back on their laurels and blame the fact they have to pay public holiday rates etc. but clueless comes to mind.

    Geez I'll take a moderately bred one thats performed as well as that any day of the week. You talk about it like finding one that can be winning 4 races is easy CS....headsup it ain't. You need to get your trainers licence and get a real feel for how difficult and challenging the sport is, I think you might pop your fan boy balloon with the TA team a fair bit if you did.

    Not admiring some outfit throwing other peoples $$ at high priced well bred yearlings and seeing the dart hit bullseye a few times is not being a "Tall Poppy" , thats just an easy way to explain away the rationale of it all.

    MB won a G1 & a G2 in Aus. her only wins over there from memory, Avantage I think a G3 in Sydney was it,but both several NZ blacktype races that you like to talk up as being as strong as their Oz equivalents. Imperatriz well take my hat off to her an outright champion mare!

    Remarkably the 3 best were all Aussie breds Imperatriz, MB & Avantage. Of those only Imperatriz can truly be taken seriously.

    Of course he does, he brings them to the weakest market to race well bred early maturing stock in, I look forward to seeing how they go in Aus with the big purchases, no where to hide there and they have spent some $$ so we be expecting a Blue Diamond or Slipper winner soon surely CS???

    Absolutely right! Load of absolute bullocks best buyer in the world, buys NZ stock by our best sires and early maturing Aussie breds that dominate the local product , hardly need to be the best buyer in the world to do that. This year (NZB) top 3 purchases for the stable Snitzel, IAV & a Zoustar ... CS will call them geniuses !

    The circus has got itself in a great position to close all of these venues , the other tracks are easily coping the extra race days and other events. What would be funny here is if NZTR miss out on the dosh for these venues , based around some government policy. Given the environment we are in now its very possible to happen. Then they look even more stupid than they have before, hard to believe I know.

    I had the pleasure, have been going to this race meeting for years , numbers pretty similar to the last 5 years, not a lot there particularly in certain places & the Oaks has lost a lot of its character imo in recent years , a great card but the club are lacking somewhere in delivering it.

    This is so laughable, I can still remember the first race day at Cambridge AWT & Rodley declaring it a game changer on racing propaganda channel. 99% of the posters on this site called it ... white elephant on steroids!
