Best horse, best ride, can't argue with the result. Led all the way over 3200m, nothing could get past it☺️

Peters has struck out with the lefties....the story is that how can 'we' appear to be handing millions to racing when 'we' are telling teachers/hospitals etc that there's no more $$$$ Watch this space for another Peters swerve...setting up another 'committee' to advise on the implications of the messara report...that's the rumour. jeeze it better not be true.

Fair call guv....but....have to correct you, Ardern was not elected, and has never won an election...?
-
Tomooasino....as usual you've hijacked a thread about a racehorse-an outstanding racehorse, could be the best we've seen here for many years. TAS has got real racing enthusiasts excited. How about posting your political broadcasts on behalf of the left on another forum. ? Keep this one for those of us who look at BOAY to read about racing and horses..

Did you guys hear what OP said after the race....something like ' I think he might be the best one I've ever ridden'... This is one serious horse, be interesting to hear how he comes through todays race as I think he feels hard ground. You wouldn't know it today tho

Auckland Trotting Club bans drivers from talking to each other on track

I can't wait to see who gets the job of spying on the drivers to see who is talking...and what they'll do about it? -
Auckland Trotting Club bans drivers from talking to each other on track

There's a reference to Santa in this 'newsletter'...maybe a more appropriate indicator of this crap would have been ' April Fools' ? What a lot of bullshit, next thing they'll be saying..' no looking at each other when on the track or there might be inappropriate winking...or something like that..? -
'I wonder which horse is here to win today?".....did you hear him say that before the 2500m race...dickhead, even if you think it, don't say it !

Billy knew more about racing and how NOT to ask dumb 'patsy' questions....?
-
Wrong code isn't it....? However...if it was a 'fix' then it was a bloody awful one. I don't believe the race was rigged, just astounded that the so-called raceday experts on the riu couldn't be bothered or werent up to asking any questions. I reckon that Bernie and the lap doggodber read this,so come on you two, can't you see the need for a much closer look at this race than has been accorded it ?

Not casting any suspicions on Baker/Forsman. or the owners of the 2 horses...however Saint Emilion finished last ( 13/13) at its previous start, leads virtually all the way at Ellerslie and not a question? Cameron lets Lilly L'Amour drift out to about 3 lengths last? c'mon, how come none of the Stipes on duty thought about asking some questions..?
-
On Cup day Ellerslie held the Group 3 OMF Stakes. A very ordinary field. Lizzie L'Amour went out a very dominant favourite after running a great 2nd to Savvy Coup at Hastings in her last start. Stablemate Saint Emillion, a very good horse, also in the race, less well supported. You know the result. I checked out the Stipendiary Stewards report with interest. All it says is....wait for it...' Lizzie L'Amour slow away'....bullshit!! She was not slow out, she was dragged back to last while her stablemate went to the lead. This was a terrible ride by M Cameron on the favourite. He did not show any initiative at any stage of the race...at about the 800m he realised he was being too clever and tried to send his mount around the field...she eventually was a fair 2nd while the stablemate won... What do you think would have taken place if this was raced at Flemington/Randwick/Mullabong or wherever across the ditch? The trainers/owners/riders would have all been hauled into the Stewards room, questioned over tactics, Cameron would have been grilled for his lack of intiative ( a senior rider ?) questions over betting would have been asked..what do we get? Nothing. Bloody disgraceful But thats what you get when you have a bunch of time servers led by an incompetent. I didn't back anything in the race. Just disgusted at the sham that is 'integrity' in racing here. Come in Thomas...at least you weren't afraid to ask the hard questions.

Actually it's worse then I initially thought...so lets say peters gets his way ( extremely unlikely but you never know with the mess we've got as a govt)....a new 'law' immigrants sign to say they'll conform to the Troika's demands...what if they don't once theyre here? Are we going to see another new government department? another Police force to hunt out these offenders who don't bow down to the left 10 times every day, lock them up without trial...? what a dickhead this guy is.
-
The politician we----that is anyone remotely interested in racing--should be really worried about is peters. His xenophobic behaviour is reaching a new, quite despicable level. If its true that he thinks any new immigrants should have to sign a document stating they will follow NZ's ( read Peters/Ardern/Greens here) ' policies' then we are in big trouble. The words ' Big Brother' ( or sister ) spring to mind. Muldoon was a drunken old fool at times, however even he wouldnt sink this low. And Peters is spruiking himself as the saviour of racing in this country? His sideshow at the HRNZ AGM on Friday night was all about 'me'..as is everything he has done since being elevated to the position of joint puppeteer on election day.

You must be in the labour caucus room....?? -
And thats the point that the lefties don't get. National were very 'hands off' it's true. however their attitude was pretty much ' fix your own mess up before asking the Govt for any assistance'..and racing never did. Plenty of moaning and bitching from numerous quarters, particuarly the trainers assn who achieved..what? Now we are lumbered with a 'no personal responsibility' government who seem to trying to be everything to everybody..and the wheels are falling off....
-
Everything labour/greens/nz first have done..which is feck all..have been destructive economically ( think New Plymouth..etc)..can one of toothindas defenders point out one thing that labour has instituted that is going to generate significant income?...and TAX IS NOT INCOME...it is a punishment for being even mildy successful..
-
Well then its just a continuation of the con job taking place with the so called coalition government we find ourselves saddled with..can't trust them, Can't trust NZTR or the Racing Board, Common denominator....Peters, the chameleon...( chameleon: a lizard with the ability to change colors )
-
Soggy chips, pies that look like they've been at the last 5 racedays, tea or instant coffee in plastic cups....yuk .any help short stuff? Oh the horses....! If they haven't got too far to get home then not much given to them until back in their box...otherwise once they've regained situation normal then their usual feed..
-
It appears to me that this is an admission that ' they', i.e. the whole of NZTR Board ( and the RB) haven't got a bloody clue...they have stuffed the industry to the extent that millions of dollars have been wasted, innumerable useless pricks ( CEO's, Board members etc etc ) have come and gone with huge pay-offs ...and they want 'us' to endorse their behaviour. Make a decision you useless pricks, don't put the onus on other people so when you stuff up again you can say....'well you said it was a good idea'...and the decision that you all need to make is...resign!

Keep it in the Dark - Justice? Article on the Informant.
Kopia replied to Boxie's topic in Trotting Chat
Rumours were that the riu wanted to get rid of the jca. Leading up to the messiah report riu stewards were telling anyone near that the jca were 'gone' and theyd be in charge of all penalties....doesn't look that way in the messiah report tho?? -

What did they expect? The coppers obviously were independant of the RIU and HRNZ...they had to keep schtum! They had interception warrants from a High Court Judge, for chrissakes. Its become bloody obvious that the raceday stewards in the south island were bloody useless. If there was even a suggestion that the countries top harness drivers were rigging races why didn't they catch them before having to get the cops involved? Don't blame thew cops for not telling anyone. The slackarses at fault here are HRNZ and the RIU..! And the so called Integrity specialists which cost the industry millions...where were they? -
Frank, thanks for coming on here and clarifying some points. You probably won't want/or be able to answer this question, however a great many people in New Zealand, particuarly in the upper North Island, are extremely disappointed that the Auckland Racing Club haven't considered a Strathayr and seem intent on patching up a track which has caused problems for many years. Ellerslie has been closed over winter months recently-the weather pattern in NZ especially the North Island, has been wetter and wetter each winter. In your opinion, and I'm sure you'll be aware of what I'm saying-would Ellerslie be better suited to a Strathayr than what they've got and seem intent on keeping..i.e. a track which is basically 'stuffed' ? Secondly....have you been invited to look at Ellerslie by the auckland Racing Club, i.e. have they ever considered an alternative to what they curently have?.. ( I don't expect you to answer this part..think we all know the answer!)
