Yep, apart from announcing another labour govt ghetto getting built in Mt Roskill, petrol prices going through the roof, power prices out of control, Ministers lying to her and getting away with it, Winnie playing her like a draught piece, 140 committees to date and counting...yep its all rosy in the 'cindy' camp

hahaha Tommosanni.....she is ducking and diving to avoid being questioned /interviewed by anyone who can ask a decent RELEVANT question so WHY T F should she get any respect? Gone by Xmas mate.
-
Maybe the question at then head of this post should be......even if NZ First tries to implement the Messiah report, who will support it in Parliament ? 'Cindy' who hates to be called 'Cindy' is clearly missing in action...dodging interviews and blaming 'scheduling' issues....its pretty obvious Peters has got her ' over a barrel' ( ugh ) at the moment. However, he's going to need labour to prop up the Racing Industry changes to legislation...or else he's going to have to go hand in cap to National....good luck with that Winnie! There's interesting times ahead. It would be more better if we, i.e. the voting public, were 'permitted' to see what the NZ First and Labour and the Greens agreed to in their secret coalition agreements..which isn't a coalition agreement according to winnie...but its obvious that there's something in there thats too secret..even tho 'cindy' said there's be open government..jeeze cindy might be time to get in touch with the puppeteer ( red Helen ) again..!!

Come on Thommassino....the harness boys are just dumb enough to get caught....do you think there aint some riggin going on in the gallops..here? Course there is. What about the trial jack-ups, the 'right' horse wins, gets sold for big $$$$ and there's a big earn for the rider..or the Ready to Run sales, riders given instructions that if a horse runs a certain 'impressive' run-up in a good time, theres a big earn coming...or the jocks involved in whats referred to as a ' ring' and you don't have to look too hard to see who's involved...?

Its interesting T....hardly a mention of Ellerslie in the Messiahs report...obviously a special case? Shirley the common sense way to approach Ellerslie, metropolitan track, largest population by a mile in NZ...would be 1. A synthetic track ( Strathayr ) or an all weather type AS WELL AS the existing grass track ( don't tell me they can't do it) 2. TRAINING FACILITY for trainers who would flock there-esp after one or 2 new tracks ( don't tell me it can't be done, bullshit, as its already an approved activity) plenty of room to construct barns etc and spelling facilities within 45 minutes. You Dorkland yuppies would flock to the track to watch trackwork ( have to schedule it for after 9am so you can finish your latte's) 3. Invite the present Board to feck off, get some younger, more active people involved who can see the bigger picture.. That'll do it

Jeeeze Thommmoo for a moment I thought that was OP sitting there cooling his nuts?

Well said..howevere there's more to it than that. P manufacture, sale of,and use of, is implicit in a crime wave in this country the like of which we've never seen before. Count up how many murders in the last few years have been because of' P'...its dumb and childish to try and call P, or cannabis or heroin or cocaine or ectasy, a 'medical' problem. Bullshit, thats a cop-out.

Speaking of bullshit mumbles...looks like Ardern is not averse to the odd ' lie', 'mispoke' etc etc....on the radion this morning ( Friday) she said she had full confidence in the liar Curren and she would stay in her ministerial role.... ALL THE TIME SHE KNEW THAT LAST NIGHT THAT CURREN HAD RESIGNED...AND ARDERN HAD ACCEPTED HER RESIGNATION !? LAST NIGHT ! Come in Tommooorulia...

I see that Chris died recently...I believe he was a Kiwi who had ridden in aussie and apparently died penniless....one thing he will be remembered for,at least by those who knew him, was that he rode in a race against a horse called....WINX.....the greatest racehorse anywhere, ever..he rode a horse called Magicool. He was engaged to ride in a picnic meeting somewhere when he was asked if he'd like to ride at Flemington against Winx..! What a story. Don't think he had to think too hard about it!

As the bishop said to the hooker after he knocked her off in the sandhills and she said ' whats in it for me'? his reply....."sand"
-
Yes...and her and her 'average' size is one of the reasons for her longevity...less pressure on those front knees etc...and she is a wonder all right. A real 'thinker'. she apparently can sort a lot of things for herself which most horses wouldn't get near to. We're priviliged to live when she is racing the way she is.
-
Read the Winx book...when she first went to Wallers, they thought...' yep, another filly, looks ok but nothing special...!! ?

Awwwh and I missed dargaville too !

Well the industry still has....Ellerslie? NO....Counties....NO.....Avondale......NO ( on the way out).....Te Rapa...NO ( stuffed by staff) Te Aroha...NO......Rororua......NO ( on the way out )....Thames....NO ( already gone) Te Awamutu.....NO ( on the way out) Does anyone live in Paeroa? hows that looking?
-
Maybe Mr Messara should re-consider Counties track being viable? Just read that the meeting tomorrow is off due to the track being stuffed...jeeze bring on a solution, someone/anyone..

However you only have to cast your mind back a few years to the days when purcell, the trough dweller, was on overseas jaunts all the time, Dubai, Hong Kong, Paris etc etc..and he wasn't the only one...incredible expenditure..for what outcome? And who in NZTR actually authorised these junkets..? It is relevant as it is a long lasting culture in NZTR and the Racing Board which has to stop. These people treat the industry the way that labour/greens are currently treating the countries coffers..spend, spend, spend, and when it runs out we'll just borrow more..hopefully the regime that Peters appears to be instituting might have a few more barriers to stop this endless spending on non-essential and wasteful exercises.

Tommo old chap...there's a line in a song by some american warbler...' can't see the forest for the trees'...thats you old boy. Even Taxi's lefty reporters who usually wank on in her favour are rubbishing her...'weak' 'gullible' 'being manipulated by the old red witch clark'...most people have seen through taxi's..'I've got a baby' bullshit. Admit it Tommo, she's a puppet and the strings are being pulled in too many directions. Gone by Xmas.?
-
Sounds more of the ' newspeak' we are getting from Taxinda....what about ' I took a helicopter ride over the business community'..WTF why doesn't she speak English...try hard I think the younger brigade call her

Im sure I read that planning for a 'synthetic' track at Cambridge is already quite well advanced. Can anyone tell us-are they referring to the existing training track at Cambridge..? the one they use for trials..or is it the other large secondary track on the other side of the Cambridge clubs property? surely if its going to be the main training track it will cause a hell of a disturbance to training etc given that there are several large barns alongside that track.James/Baker/Marsh to name a few. If it is going to be used for racing won't they also need some type of administration building?

Written Questions for Winston and Messara to Answer.
Kopia replied to Chief Stipe's topic in Galloping Chat
And yes, this forum on Thursday evening is most definitely an appropriate place to raise these issues...if there is no confidence in the integrity' of racing then don't bother spending millions on tracks, they won't help raise the betting figures. -

Dear Minister.... Looking at the NZTR Racing Monthly for August 2018, I read on page 4 ( list of NZTR employees) that : Under the Racing Integrity Unit section there are: 1 Operations Manager; 1 General Manager ( Stewards ) Manager ( Integrity Assurance), 4 Senior or Chief Stipendiary Sterwards, 4 Investigators, 11 Stipendiary Stewards. And Yet...the 'buck' seems to bypass all the above? Why are decisions relative to illegal substances so hard to make, especially when they involve horses belonging to 'high profie' owners and/or trainers? And why when the so called 'offender' is a battling owner/trainer or low level jockey or trainer or owner, prosecutions are undertaken quickly and quite damaging penalties imposed..? It appears that there is also a sub-committee for integrity issues on the NZTR Board list...so what part do these people have in determining action by the Integrity Unit, which supposedly falls under their umbrella..? Woukd you not think, Minister, that given that integrity matters are so important in racing, that the Integrity Unit should be answerable to someone ? ...cast your eyes across the ditch, the Australian system does not blink if the alleged offenders are high profile trainers/jockeys/owners... Looking forward to hearing your reply, thankyou. -
Well this seems to be an ' integrity' matter Thommassino.....the problem is getting a decision-one way or the other-on anything revolving around integrity matters in nz racing. The finger points directly at the ' ditherer' godber. Can't paint a pretty picture of it, disgraceful stuff going on. These positives at New Plymouth are a classic example. Geeze, why are these squids in the riu taking orders from solicitors? same thing took place with the muttermutter case. bloody hopeless.

TE RAPA's hopeless incompetent Track Managment...INQUIRY NOW

Blaming the weather etc etc....nobody's head will roll. this is n.z. racing? -
No theyr'e not mugs. She's beaten some exceptional horses. Hugh Bowman was asked after last Saturdays win..'what makes her so good'? He said..'she sees the finish and she wants to get there first'! Easy as that.? Kaboom !!
