  1. I suggest you pay the 20 bucks and read it, he names people all right, he's been naming the trot people here for ages, the rorts are getting worse, why he's now got onto NZ trot caper I don't know, he's named the gear, I don't know the bloke but I do believe him when he says he's had more death threats than Elliot Ness!
  2. I don't pay the twenty bucks each month to read peterprofit.com but sometimes I wish I did........this morning he is onto the 'good ole boys' at Woodend Beach near Chch, well, the young men apparently, according to that website there has been very naughty happenings up that way........we've heard rumours, but when you put it up in flashing lights, God Help Us.......you think it's limited to the cheats on seats?
  3. On the Covid19 and racing thread Huey.
  4. That video on another thread of some eminent Kiwi's espousing their very educated views is enthralling viewing Aqua. If Ardern and the stormtroopers watched it with an open mind, gee it might be enlightening for them. I've said it before and I'll say it again, at least Covid flushed out the fuckwits, and sadly it appears there are millions of them........in defence of many though, fear and coercion was a driving force behind their decisions.....and the human need to eat to survive and for that you need a job......FFS.
  5. They only had to 'dig up' the phone number for any Toowoomba trainer or the club itself, then ask ''Why did you dig your track up''? No-one bothered, and doesn't that ring alarm bells? something fishy? a large snapper, or a cod and chips in a brown paper bag perhaps? It actually doesn't smell, it stinks, but it does show up how many fools there are in that northern cartel eh?
  6. Bloody Brilliant, and the brave buggers have lost their jobs, in a decade or less when legal action is rife the culprits/bureaucrats will have taken cover or bolted leaving a trail of destruction. Ardern has nothing between the left and right ear anyway, but how so many Doctors turn on more learned contemporaries and peers is astounding, our previous CHO here in QLD was a GP, and ordinary GP to boot, no Epidemiologist either, but it was she who called the shots, our Premier would always bow to Janet Young's learned education and expertise........neither of them would listen to much more talented and experienced physicians who should have had the platform to express their concerns. I just hope down the track Both Palachook and Janet are wearing pyjamas with arrows on them as the emotional and financial destruction by their hands is incalculable!
  7. Nothing to do with free fall, free speech by eye witness's no less, praise where it's due and scorn same, the racing demise can be summed up plus vite, shocking admin, no transparency, no governance, and failed or non-existent fiduciary duty. If mainstream media had of done their job and outed those responsible it might have been a different outcome.....
  8. And Bob would know, he rode champions.
  9. Yep, the old adage, feed em big and work em bigger, Geoff Murphy springs to mind, he was a massive feeder, only the best stood up to his methods, they worked, but all his horses were treated with respect, as were ours, rugs on in cold and wet and rugs off in sunshine........Jack Denham was a huge feeder, and 6 bales of straw in each box, no rugs in that joint and it got really cold and wet out at Rosehill, he was a cruel bastard in other ways which I wont go into here........FWIW D E Reed told me about Showgate, best he ever rode he said, I think we all would have loved her in a box at our place, she might not have won what she did as we wouldn't have done to her what GT did, but I could live with that!
  10. You've obviously not trained a horse, what goes in the bin? You've never heard the quote, ''he's a good feeder''? before pre-mix feeds so many trainers had different recipes, some fed big, some fed small and often, I was very lucky, I was fortunate enough to have been apprenticed to two great trainers in NZ, one an icon, and was foreman for an Icon in Melbourne, I got to see and learn through champions, and for one week in NOV 72 I got to see just what went into the mighty mare's feeder, compared to what we fed it was disgraceful, and as was her nature she'd boot her water bucket to the shithouse every day out in her day yard......do you think Gordon would tie the thing to the fence, or put into a tyre or something......he didn't, and that grand mare would go hours and hours without water........if I can remember back to those days it must have stuck with me....you think? I was 19, not nine.........
  11. No it was not a one off I'm judging him on, it was the aftermath that I remember, the 'others' that were at Riccarton that day and saw and heard, then the boss explaining to me ''Gordon's'' track record, and a few months later a leading jockey who rode the mare attesting to what I had been told........too many witnesses, and if you weren't envious of that mare you had rocks for brains.......I applaud your loyalty Muffin, but you can guild the lily all you like, that feed bin didn't lie, the queue to view when Gordon wasn't there [and that was often] stretched from the Cape to the Bluff........IMO the mare was second only to Sunline and on her day would probably have downed that great mare also.......
  12. Be sensible, it was on the Wed morning if I recall, hot day, mare had no water for bloody ages, we had horses down from the NI, it was just what you did back then, help one another out, little did I know the shellacking I was going to cop......
  13. It's called pride Muffin, pride, oh and respect for the animal, I saw her feed bin and so did many others, we're not fools, what that bloke fed that mare was disgusting, and the day he got up me for picking up her fallen water bucket and re-filling it with cool, clean water which she promptly skulled pissed me right off......if he trained now he'd be before stewards quicker than F.....the mare was a freak, as was Vo Rogue who was treated much the same as SG......Vic Rail was eccentric and off the planet, and yes, Vo wouldn't have run any faster if CSH or Bart trained him......they were 1 in 1000 horses!
  14. That explains why so many aren't in the owners association Huey, why would you with fwits like that in there?
  15. On another site, there is a poster called Nerula who actually stated Saundry was a good Captain. That in itself explains as to how we got to where we're at.
  16. I'm sorry KITK but you haven't got a skully, but thank you anyway.
  17. But Doomed everyone knew of Saundry's inadequacies except the lunatics at the asylum, and still they went ahead, they didn't even google him or they would have discovered the bullying allegations,...... and look what happened.......
  18. I've just broken a rib laughing, this is better than Seinfeld.
  19. She's not worth it Shad, the lass is beyond redemption, she must have a cruel streak in her.
  20. Thank You Chief!
  21. Apologies the photo did not load, @dabernigracing
  22. Dunkeld yesterday, maybe Tauherenikau could match it, but this is what racings all about. Lets keep Messara well away from these absolutely wonderful tracks and the great day out.
  23. Booster shots Shad, then double boosters, then a free bucket of KFC with the nano booster, and shortly the Wuhan lab will release another lurgy, probably a tad worse than the first, and the Pharma's will circle the wagon and come up with a new vax and off it goes again......the wheels on the bus go around and round.....you know how it goes.
  24. Yes Chief, if you correct your grammar......
  25. goldrushpublications.com would have to be the bravest racing site on the planet. I've been following them for some time however it's really getting heated. I urge all of you that wonder how some trainers seem to have the edge on others keep on keeping on. I've looked up to the fabulous Jim Bolger for years, a wonderful trainer and excellent human being and if Ireland harbours such a black secret why not here, and NZ.........especially applicable to our friends at the 'red hots' as NZ was the home of the wonderful Blue Magic. Archie Butterfly was scathing in his criticism of MP this morning and the blue stars recent success's, however, as alarming as that is its what's NOT happening that concerns me. We need good independent journalism to deliver transparency which in turn delivers confidence in our industry, and NZ and Oz lag well off the pace re industry policing. The recent debacle in VIC with their integrity in question, well that's not only recent, their behaviour regarding the very decent licensed trainer Kate Goodrich goes back to when that fellow Bernard Saundry was meant to be in charge and the revelations that hit mainstream media when the courts reached their decision in favour of the much maligned Kate Goodrich. In more recent times we have the farce that is Queensland and it's QCAT, over the border in NSW it only improves a milli micro as the racing police there at least seem to be a little more proficient. The rumour mill here re drugs is starting to grind out again and at least Archie on peterprofit.com seems to be on to it. There are results in the trotting caper that are beyond reasoning, and you only have to look back to the Gleeson debacle and his banning from the sport along with the corrupt steward/officials to know that anything is possible, if not probable. I can't see anything positive happening in the short term regarding the happenings in Ireland, too big, too strong, too many agendas, I lived in QLD during the Joh Bjelke era, the Russ Hinze dynasty, and it stunk, no wonder poor old Hayden Haitana did. what he did, he actually thought it just might happen, but we move on some 40 years and has our sport cleaned up it's act. New Zealand does not posses the same gambling culture that we have here, it will eventually wane somewhat as the new generations do seem to have the 'Risk Averse' syndrome and that's not a bad thing, the hypocrisy of that is the poker machine, a tool invented to take money off the stupid and easily led in a frightening quick period. The Catholic priests used to say, ''God loves a gambler'' never once did I hear them say ''but you need an edge'', I'm guessing God presumed we would all have a level playing field, our friends the Irish being mainly God fearing citizens now appear to have amongst them a rather large band of industry titans indeed looking for that elusive edge and if that edge is in the shape of performance enhancing drugs then the full force of the law should be brought against them, and lets not stop with Ireland, the only way to install some sort of confidence here with the gambling public is to ensure pre race testing and all post race testing samples are sent off to the labs and transparency ensues. End Of.
