You have got to head Roman off yet to get a prize Karrots. The oz racing pretty ordinary to pick/bet on at the trots. , I would think that it is hard to remove posts that are fiction and/or cause offence to some as would not be much left. after the fact The lead Headlines on this thread were very harsh against a young driver , and insulting to various groups as expressed after. Many expressed their displeasure at this , INCLUDING yourself. so that very well counteracts you saying the site could be a haven for that behaviour. So all is good. My thoughts are it was a GREAT Ben Hope drive !!, and he did everything but win the race. ! (He was 1 length in front 100 out after charging to the lead turning for home) retarded driver was given a warning by Chief and asked to take it somewhere else , rather than post like that. No reflection on the site at all.

Vic Frost 80 this year, living legend. still training winners out of his Westburn Grant broodmare Frostiness each month, Hunter , your kiwi mate Frank Bennett Won the trot on Friday at Albion.!! driving still in his 70's. Amazing man ! wife still training 4 trotters. Frank started out in 60's and left NZ 2010.

Wow ! I just tuned in for the one race at Nelson / richmond today and just have to say what a perfect 10/10 drive from one of your best TIM WILLIAMS , from the outside gate with OFF N GONE just now. !!! No doubt helped by the very pro-active drive by May on BOOM , but still, what a great effort from Horse and driver.! Have to get going early in those 1 mile races, so very tricky as you say. Even in the regional area's the driving standard is exceptional. !! (less Forbury watching HOPE in action)

Hey Brodster, must tell you all in case you didn't realise (and others), And Hope NZ follows suit. THIS VERY Racing SEASON changed in Australia Harness, to be the NEW SEASON literally starting January 1st. We now run on the Calender year as the Harness racing Season. So on JAN 1st all the yearlings foaled in late 2018 have now just turned 2. And are actually 2 . SO The past season the 2 year olds raced from Sept 1st 2019 right up to DEC 31st 2020 (16 months) They turned three from Jan 1st just gone. This year they will have trials for 'Yearlings' towards the end of year , so READY TO RACE this time next year as brand New 2 year olds (that get the Bonus of being Able to race the whole year as a 2 year old now instead of just the 8 months) from now on.

Yes a very unusual driving engagement on Italian Lad for a driver with only 200 odd drives, made by Cullen ? Allstars ? somebody ? lol. Mark Purdon had All sorts of difficulties 2 starts ago driving that horse and had to make excuses to the stipes at Auckland. Pulled hard last start too for McKendry. Not a great drive for the young lass. Maybe stable losing the Plot ??? lol.....

A few of the 501's coming home to NZ, helped form the Comancheros. Nat was rejected as had wrong 'colours' of Blue and silver.

A very slow start to the transition it seems. New trainer not present for kickoff of the new set-up opening night. Gone 'home' early , not a lot of big race-night mentoring at this stage. ??

Yes , I was a huge Allstars Fan , as their results terrific (Interdominions, NZ Cups and Auckland Cups all over the place) But those colours were Nats and Marks colours. Where are Cullen's? . some owners have their own colours like at the Gallops. Grant Dixon has a major owner of dozen or more of his team so wears those owner silks often, while his wife drives in their Dixon colours, (they often have 2 horses in the one race) The Allstar colours aren't the owners, so why Cullen not having his own ? and Why did they send him home ? poor bugger. The promise of so much , but 2 stabs already..... poorbugger. Hope you win our Bet tonight then Karrots ! lol and Allstars miss out

Not normal. Bloke Shoud have his Own colours as a Trainer. Very strange that Mark and Nats colours still going on horses . Interestingly Karrots , in Brisbane the DRIVERS (about 20 regulars) who go around in most races , just keep their own colours on for the day's racing , that are a good fit and comfortable . (some even with short sleeves here in warm Brisbane) Makes perfect sense. Of course an occasional OWNER (like at the gallops) wants to see his colours go around , so they will do that for him/her too.
