  1. I don't believe it mate? What the fuck happened last night at Addington. Race 4, 1980m mobile. Le Pole Dancer knocks over or severely checks the Gerard O'Reilly trained and driven Bettor Be Sharp at least three times in the final 300m. WTF!!! I don't believe it mate. Why have stipes at all if a horse can get a way with that... no siren, nothing. JOKE! I think Gerard O'Reilly too much of a gentleman, like his father, to push the issue? And for the know-alls... I did not have a bet in the race but I am flabbergasted it wasn't relegated...
  2. Bloody joke mate. Corrupt. And, for the know-alls, I DIDN'T HAVE A BET!!!
  3. You are on the money mate. Pole Dancer checked Gerard O'Reilly's horse two or three times in the final 400m... it's go to go surely!
  4. Brad Williamson worst driver in NZ, overrated and getting by on the family name.

    The Race

Stylish Memphis is Canterbury owned by Wayne Higgs well-known former trainer and successful breeder.

    The Race

I disagree. The draw is a massive factor especially at Cambridge. Stylish Memphis will be first out and then get an easy run on the fence when something comes around. I still think Self Assured is the best horse in the race and should win but you never know...

    The Race

Look mate, I usually agree with you, but give the Race a chance before you condemn it. I think it will be an interesting race. I backed Spellbound so put the curse on her before she even started. Brodster, it should be all on because of the Australian young gun drivers, they won't let it develop into your typical NZ race where everyone follows the leader. I wouldn't surprise me if a world record set. I probably not have a bet now but I guess the new horse Majestic ??? would be worth a punt? I never heard of the horse before to be honest.
  8. I agree mate. There's too much racing in the South, with the same horses going around week after week. It's boring.
  9. On Tuesday, the horse ran second at Rangiora trials in a three-horse field so will probably be cleared to race on that? I hope you collect plenty mate.
  10. K. Townley trained here in Canterbury Gamma. That stable don't knock their horses around, so are good buying propositions. Firefox will win plenty over there.
  11. Alicia Harrison is a very good driver in the north but out injured for a few months. It's bad luck for her because the Donnnelly stable is on fire so Alicia would been driving plenty of winners. Never mind, she'll keep.
  12. Give her a chance mate. Driving is in the O'Reilly genes. Patrick senior told me decades ago that Gerard was the best driver in the family and this was before gerard got his drivers' licence. Those superior driving genes have been passed on to Sarah and she is even better than her dad. Sarah got a long way to go to get to Natalie's class but she will I am sure.
  13. Did you get on the 11-year-old Jabali at Wyndham mate? He's an 11-year-old by Extreme Three, not many of them around.
  14. She trains too. Horses run for those pretty girls... K. Gath, Sofia Arviddson, Natalie Rasmussen, Sarah O'Reily, Alicia Harrision... and all better drives than the overrated Bradley Williamson.
  15. Brad Williamson? You have to be kidding me?? He's the most overrated driver in the country with a terrible strike rate. It's his family name that gets the drives. Shocking driver. Look at Vintage Cheddar mate. B williamson drove the horse tragically all season. Look at Vintage Cheddar now. Get the chump Williamson off him and he's won four in a row in Aussie. The lovely Kate Gath ten times better driver than Bran Williamson who is the most overrated driver in the country.
  16. You are entitled to your opinion but I disagree. Carter the best since Dexter. Give me a break. Joke of the year. Who taught him to drive, Sarah that's who. She's a great horsewoman, she's developed Carter's driving, Sugar Me and Trixton Time, she drove them and educated both horses in work and at track. Sugar Me doesn't go any good for any other driver but Sarah. Looked how it performed in Australia. If Sarah had drive it there the results would have been different. That's a guarantee. Sarah O'Reilly is the best junior driver since Dexter. She has one two NZ Championships in a row and got some long shots home doing it. Sarah O'Reilly is the best driver of the O'Reilly dynasty. You wait and see what she does in the next few years mate. I think she is the next Natalie Rasmussen. Go Sarah!
  17. I think 13 is the retiring age mate? This will be his last season of racing. The trainer probably got another 10year old maiden waiting in line?
  18. That will be matter mate. Poor 2000m mobile staring point at PharLap all weather, the extra 50m will make a big difference. There will be more straight to use before first bend. an excellent move In my opinion.
  19. Michael House doesn't get the applause he should. He is keeping Central Districts racing going. Southland also owes him a vote of thanks. Well done Michael. I think the drivers would be doing OK to Brodie. The likes of Sarah O'Reilly, B Orange, Z Butcher etc that get a drive in every race. I think it's around $90 a drive these days, could be more? I'm not sure mate? I don't watch or bet at Manawatu cos don't understand the rating system enough and class of horse poor.
  20. She's a great driver. I do not understand why she doesn't get more drives. Wake up South Island trainers...
  21. Too right Gamma. Spot on... Vintage Cheddar won again Friday night, four starts in Australia four wins. Keep an out for him later in the season Gamma, he'll be at good odds in higher grade races?
  22. No offence. I was just trying to offer practical advise with humour. I should have known better. Sorry. I forgot that most on here, with the exception of Brodie, don't have a sense of humour. No offence.
  23. Mud wrestling?
  24. WTF?? I know you are technologically challenged and not that bright but really. No one can be this backward? I don't believe it, I give you the tip. Haven't you heard of headphones? There is no need to sit there shaking in fear of your lover with the racing on mute. Get into the 21st century man! Get some headphones, they are cheap. Buy some next time you win, yes I know with the mugs you back that could take a while, and connect headphones to your phone and away you go. Get with it.
  25. I hear what you are saying mate but really this is not that unusual. I remember 20 years ago there were three and horse fields, especially trotters, of two year olds. I have seen many two years at Rangiora/Ashburton trials so they are around. I think it might be cos fo the longer season this year mate? Lot of races coming up for two year olds later July/August! Just my thoughts
