U lost the plot Ranga! If the TAB is not accepting bets whether it be tote ir fixed they are nit getting as much turnover! Believe it or not oeople that bet fixed odds will actually have more fixed odds bets as they win therefore bloody tutnovrr! You are bring a dickhead again!

Mikie, so Nick Ydgren or whatever the spelling is, has experience in leading an organisation thru a period of change? Is he an excellent communicator? The horse was good winning down south winning them in a row! All you can do is win, I suppose and has won at Addington, but was nkt up against the best and think its last win at Addington, it sat in the trail! Yes it can run, but it was racing mainly Southland horses who are t in the same league as Canterbury gorses generally!

To be fair, U May Collect was winning down south mostly, beating nothing! Has won at Addington but didnt beat the best! A very good horse but enthusiasts that were talking him as a Cup hope last year were dreaming!

Dougie, depending on who the punter or punters were, it does not take a lot of money for the Accountants to shorten a horse right up! A few hundred a place on Needhams horse couldve slashed the horse’s win price from $20 into $5 no problem!

Happy, I totally agreed with everything until you went and ruined it by saying harness punters would go and bet on Ozzie gallops! Wash your mouth out, what harness punter would gamble on gallops when there is Korean baseball or Russian basketball?

It is just another stupid rule that are in harness Racing that needs amending However it involves a bit of work having these enquiries, it was far easier to collect revenue by fining drivers Who tap a horse 11 times! Great that they finally saw how dumb it was and now changed it, congratulations! Yes Happy, it it is ludicrous but I think that they wont because it takes time for an enquirey and with one, they lose revenue or tgink they do! Suggestion for HRNZ encourage the NZ TAB to allow their punters to be able to punt!!!!

The NZ TAB restricts certain punters to be able to net a certain figure, irrespective of whether it is a 1.50 favourite or a $50 Outsider? The amount I am allowed is not worth the effort, however when I do bet a wee bit on, they often save me money at the moment! The NZ TAB policy of restricting certain punters to a pathetic amount is seriously flawed! They have aLways got the advantage and always should be making money on every race! They should be encouraging all punters to offload, however they are hellbent on having a good yield Rather than making a bigger profit! The $46m betting platform has certainly not done the racing industry any favours, unless you are into punting on Korean Table Tennis or Russian Basketball!!!

I do know for a fact that several years ago, limiting harness punters to pathetic amounts was common! Were gallop punters being limited? Had it on very good authority, that they were not restricting them, as they had no need to! The fact is that what the NZ TAB is doing is losing the harness punters bigtime, and this sadly is going to kill the sport, as it has a huge flow on affect!

Agree Happy, gallops are very boring, although there aRe more enthusiasts than harness for some strange reason? Form is impossible to follow and that is why the TAB doesnt restrict punters! Just about impossible to see your horse until they go past you unless you back the grey!

Will be very interesting to see who is actually sponsoring the Box Seat? Should be able to tell by the advertising! I would be putting forward that connections to the Blue and Silver stable will be in the mix somewhere! Good on Greg OConnor for starting it up again, but if it is the AllStar benefit show again, most people will Just give it a miss again!
