What a very accurate article, very well written. Know from personal experienceI have been treated very poorly by the NZ TAB! Apart from massive restrictions and treated like a criminal, I have been lied to and not treated equally . Allen was useless, Saville is totally incompetent and most of the big wigs should be down The road for the decisions they have made. NZ Racing is stuffed as it has not been marketed to younger ones that should be coming thru but aren’t. There appears to be that many overpaid turkeys there it is not funny and it will be one of the downfalls of racing in the next year or two.

We came back from Oz not too long before the borders closed. The system in getting back in was extremely lax and hadn’t been terribly well thought out! People can think what they want about whether the current govt. has done a good job or not, it doesn’t change the fact that we have been locked up for a long time, financially disadvantaged due to heavy borrowing and will lose a lot more people due to suicides than what the Covid19 will ever kill in NZ! Those facts can not be denied!!

The chances of anyone transferring Covid19 to some other catcher is very small. Time NZ got on with life and stop worrying about what others are doing. If you are that scared of catching any virus, then stay at home and never come out. Reality is that the decision to lockdown as long as this is going to kill a damn site more people than greyhound people catching their greyhounds. Didn’t inherit it at all Holy Crap, came from knowledge and getting off my butt and taking action! You have all the words or think you do, but you do not live in reality, you just want to have handouts under a Socialist government. Anyway, I’m going for a drive, just because I want to!

Where did I say that we didn’t need to lock down? The govt. was very slow in doing anything, National suggested action back I. January but nothing was done! The lockdown was to flatten the curve so that the hospital was inundated with sick people. The curve was flattened and hospitals never ever taxed at all and yet operations were put on hold and cancelled for what? Selfish my arse, I am more worried about people I know and don’t know that will be financially stuffed and can’t feed their families and even worse. If you think NZ had bad mental health before then you haven’t seen anything yet, but our esteemed leader says”stay home,save lives” BS!!!!

Why is it relevant where I got capital from? All legal and from work and taking opportunities that I looked at! I have never ever had any unemployment benefit for the record! Far more people are going to die in NZ because of the actions rather than the virus itself. There has not been one death from the effects of the virus to anyone in NZ that has had reasonable health however already there have been deaths caused by the lockdown!!! Of course there is inequality in China as the communist leaders are the ones that want the peasants to be equally poor so they can control them. Financial inequality is not an ideology of Socialists or Communism, it is a certainty in any democracy as not everyone is as well equipped to be successful, just the way it is! Freedom? We have not got freedom whatsoever at the moment with a dictator at the helm. You haven’t got freedom under a dictatorship and communist or socialist type govt. The Socialist govt. continually meddle in your business which is what this coalition govt. does! I believe in allowing people to make choices and if their choice is legal and it makes them a profit then good on them. Personally I have made many decisions that have worked for us and gives me a lifestyle that I enjoy, but unfortunately due to the govt. locking us all up then that has changed. Hard work, taking opportunities and knowledge! Many are happy just to work for someone and not be an employer and that is why the employees are going to see things differently when they find out in the next few months that this decision to prolong the lockdown, has cost them their livelihood. Many people just don’t take any risks whatsoever to improve their financial situation and I would be prepared to say that those that believe that lockdown extension is Correct. Is exactly these people. Put yourself in the business owners position that will in the next few months be laying their staff off due to the economic conditions? Most business owners have put a lot of effort in to build their business and now it has been decimated due to other people’s decisions, that is what concerns me! What about the people that will commit suicide after not being able to provide for their families, at the expense of what? 21 elderly patients of rest homes with dementia, whereas there has been 700 people or 100 people per day die of other issues????? Socialists do not give a rats because they generally rely on others providing for them and not thru their own efforts, it is their philosophy! There is so called financial inequality in every country in the world and long may it continue or we have Communism!

Holy Crap, do you agree with Ardern that this is a great opportunity to close the inequality gap? As I say not everyone is equipped with the ability to be successful financially, but how does that give Ardern the right to reduce the successful people’s success? Reality is that not everyone is equal in this and that is where the very generous welfare system is provided in NZ!! If we don’t have people with wealth then there will not be people investing in businesses etc. and therefore no employment for the people that just want to be an employee. Arderns ideologies are going to cripple this country if she is allowed to remain dictating! Holy Crap, can you please advise us all of the many successful politicians that are in the current coalition government in regards to business, and not the socialist groups like Oxfam!! Bollacks! Reality is that Some people are just not equipped to be as successful financially or socially as others are Holy Crap!
