    An example of how ordinary horses can run fast miles...Joe's Star of Mia , Nice horse but not the bollocks, 149.4 ....for anyone that thinks Mile racing is the be all and end all this is proof the manufactured manicured tracks make horses look better than they really are. This horse would be lucky to run midfield in the nz cup.... Menangle....yaaaawwwn

    If you actually cared, you wouldn't sell, you would have more Money than you actually need with that sort of coin on offer... anyway...you wouldn't sell your pet dog or cat.. that's the way I look at it, I have had a share in some hopeless horses in my time, but all have been looked after. Christen me a very good example of people not doing the right thing and just being greedy.

    Bizzare, if I had the pleasure to own something like him I would have kept him here, won this year's nz cup and idoms, put him to stud here, looked after the fella ..when you talk about that sort of money you are just being greedy in my opinion.... wouldn't you love to see him in your paddock when you woke up every day!!

    Come on Ashley what's wrong with Peter Early? One of the only non arse creepers going round. He may have a few annoying traits but he calls a spade a spade and his music intro is the dogs bollocks!

    Characters like thomassssss make things interesting and create debate with added humour, a pity that thread got a bit nasty at the end .....but it was enjoyable reading no matter who you agreed with! I think things just slow during the week anyway with most people just take a minute during work to have a peep at the site! As hesi said things are just hotting up with all three codes nz cups + Melbourne cup and Derby Day!

    Sure he will be $6 on cup day he was beaten by a nice horse on Saturday night but he should have won the race to justify $3.9 fav!

    Never said I was a "big expert" just gave my opinion based on the fact it takes 6 months to a year for a horse to acclimatise properly he had a virus which he didn't seem to have time to recover properly from and to me didn't look 100%

    I didn't change my mind about the the race, I said his class carried him a long way, I think they rushed getting him into the big races after his virus, alot of adjustment for the horse plus a virus and being thrown in at the deep end all in a relatively short time. Maybe you can explain if it was worth it in hindsight?

    No not an all blacks fan I find they complain when they occasionally lose about the referee or food poisoning or something other teams just take on the chin! Look I just don't see it the same as you, but I'm not calling you ignorant clueless or pigheaded! His performance at Lexington says a lot for his class, but he has been on and off since he has been in the states and clearly not right

    Don't spurt times to me ..on those lighting fast track's they are tailor made for those sort of times thats why low grade horses run 1.50... don't shit yourself because I have a different opinion or saw things differently to you.....end result there is clearly a major problem!

    No the two times mcwicked beat him at the red mile and in Canada he didn't show his normal tanacity, and had his arse spanked, I don't know, but in my opinion there has been a dark cloud over him since his first win and personally after mcwicked nearly ran him down at hosier i thought second was his lot on Saturday.
