  1. Heart rate done after every fast work
  2. Over lock down I worked at the Stables for two weeks trying to keep staff members down yes It was OK thru HRNZ rules.
  3. 9 .New shoe's every month needed or not. 10. Vet there every week. 11. Teeth don't quote me every three month's. 12.Horses extremely fit, fast work involves 900m trail walk, 2400 warm up, 2400m fast work, 5-10 min paddle in surf, 900m walk home then washed with warm water then massage. 13. Jog days 30min on lead or in cart, not on jog frame. 14. All fast work behind galloping pace makers. If horse ties up it is worked everyday. 15 From paddock to track 3 months. 16 Couldn't tell you when John last had a day off. 17 Weather changes day or night covers are changed. 18 Horse's are fed best feed available with feeds custom per horse. 19 Staff , would have no problem leaving any of their staff in charge of one of my horse's This is a small sample of what goes on , how would I know I'm there every Saturday.
  4. Love to capture a group one, reckon she deserves it, Johnny always said she has a very quick cruising speed.
  5. Hope not, she was going to have a bit more of a break chasing the Ladyship Mile but alo g came another group one so the break was a quick refresh. Nathan had her at Geelong Monday and she look good.
  6. I'm hoping Spellbound's performance on Saturday will be better.
  7. Nothing surprises me taking your name off ownerships etc to try and avoid litigation by HRNZ tells me who really has something to hide.
  8. Does the prominent owner publish his name or hide behind the pine hedge.
  9. One that doesn't exist
  10. Good point , horse's should be trained to race on poorly designed crossing.
  11. Yes wallet yes Blenheim.
  12. Bryan unfortunately is just lazy, has ability but is a one pacer
  13. You only need to spend a morning at the beach and watch how they are trained to work out why they are so fit.The work ethic John has is unbelievable, throw in the rest of the staff and you can see why they are so successful.
  14. Why don't you see dogs around the Stables at Addington or Alex Park, simply because they have health and safety plans in place. Smaller clubs run by volunteers seem to think the same rules don't apply, sad news is they can still get prosecuted. If you knowingly ignore a known hazard you are liable, simple as that.
  15. If you only looked at trotters driven by John outside of the stable last year he would have been third on the premiership table for trotters only. Currently driving in New Zealand is what I should have said, I think last seasons numbers speak for themselves, 359 drives ,88 wins and 73 placing, outstanding.
  16. I'll say it again John Dunn would be the best driver of trotters I have ever seen
  17. I know if you do a bit of homework you will find Addington is far from being the big bad wolf when it comes to funding and return on industry dollar. Country clubs do an outstanding job generating income for our industry and not only that community buy in ,so yes there are clubs punching under their weight but Addington certainly isn't one of them.
  18. When was the last time you had a 3mth holiday, probably wrong person to ask but in my case never so if your not injured or growing why would you spell a horse that long?
  19. First time in a while I've been a bit nervous going into the first as favorite. With the run should be very hard to beat, go Foo (Spellbound)
  20. All very well saying your dogs are good around horses but the question is are all horse's good around dogs. I can tell you from personal experience and three laps around the woodend carpark being dragged by a horse no they are not. Fine on course but not in stable area.
  21. Never let the facts get in the way, as we all know when you put two harness meetings on the same time turnover suffers in them both. Yip that is often correct but whats this Methven turnover just short of 1.2 Million, must be some mistake, Brodie sadly off the money 💰.
  22. No wouldn't be a poor drive , the drivers instructions at Ashvegas were clear , if you can't get to the front sit parked and put the pressure on. You need to watch the interview on Unhinged , Laver unfortunately is a one trick pony but one which I wouldn't mind owning.
  23. Great to see laver jump up the rankings, after talking to James Dunn his part trainer he is probably one of the few horses that could go sit parked and still be there at the finish.
  24. Thru john in for 3rd 4th in first four , thank you
