" They finally get the change they demanded " , what change ? this new site is just a shuffling of the deck . Not a sports punter so maybe some one can enlighten me as to whether there has been major improvements there but as for the horse side of things not finding it difficult to use but hasn't filled my life with joy and sunshine with change , pretty much same shite different bucket .

Yeahh, aside from finding your way around and figuring out the basic functions, not much wrong with the basic info and betting functions as far as I can see. What I don't see is $50m worth of innovation that is going to make the investment globally competitive, let alone ahead of the opposition. That was the idea wasn't it so it paid for itself and increased revenue? Some of the pricing and options offered are dreadful.

Wont be globally competitive in Australia Curious as the NZ site is blocked for us living here. When I am home I can access both NZ and Australian sites but NZ obviously bowed to the demands on Australia and wont let the NZ site be accessed from here.

Kinda looking forward to the move home our our site (old one) is better than the ones here IMO.

"cash out"Who the hell does that??

Its designed as a sports option mainly mate.

Could be a key player out injured at the last min or something along those lines. Remember there will be people with $10k on an event who see at the last min Williamson is out injured for the test and want out, now they can.

I have posted this before but there is a way of accessing the NZ TAB from Australia. My son in Perth did it for me, and I'm sure Harewood on this site may have managed to do it as well.

It was to technical for me but it can be done.

This is where I sit as well. Obviously a number of issues around users and the intuitiveness of the site. I understand what barryb has stated and it is more in tune with a better offering (once the users get used to it). But they do need to make changes to make the user interaction massively better.

But as said above, what has been delivered for $50m? I could develop a site that does better than this and if someone wanted to give me $50m for that, then send me a message.

There is nothing here that makes them really any better than they were. It's just the same with a different user interface. No user simplicity, no APIs, no enhanced odds compared to previous, no improved functionality re cash out (from what I read).

Offshore is not supposed to be allowed access (even though there are work arounds). So it's all about local spend (and losses) increasing to pay for it. How stupid is the CEO?

Where did the $50m go? Surely not on this.

I have told you, on busy Aus days, mainly over holidays or saturdays,  sometimes beteasy dont take nz harness, or not all meetings. So thats why. Also odd time i take quads on nz racing, pools hopeless beteasy. But yes, aus gallops, aus harness and sports, i use betfair and beteasy.

Your funny thou, early on in this thread you were saying how good new tab app is???

If anyone uses beteasy app, let me know which one is best, nz tab or beteasy? Ta

Beteasy far superior app than tab.....mind you, tab seems a little quicker today.

No, too many South Islanders on this site already, over represented when compared to the general population.

That’s because a large percentage of North Islanders don’t speak English or even go to the races. Just look at Ellerslie and Alexander Park, both slap bang in the middle of a million plus people and how many turned up at Ellerslie tonight?

I bet that there were more at Kumara yesterday or HQ’s down on the waterfront tonight.?

you can use  whats called a proxy server, australia have also banned `the pirate bay` and so has nz it seems, I just use a proxy address for the pirate bay and no problem, or sign up for a cheap VPN (virtual private network) which will disguise your internet address so that the internet server thinks you are from a different country, so its totally possible and nowhere near as complicated as it sounds.

Be careful using "free proxy servers" or "cheap VPN's" - they are not as free as they look nor are some safe.  The safest method is to set up you own proxy server or VPN.

I notice them making small changes, such as improving the presentation of the Futures, and you can now access historical Racing results(I don't think this was there a few days ago)

At the moment it seems that you can only access relatively recent results - 21 Dec 2018 is the earliest date I can currently get results for. Hopefully, over time, we will see a longer range become available.
