  1. All those restrictions do not seem to be hurting turnover on fixed odds. (Come in Brodie). Would be interesting to know what the tote turnover was in comparison to last year as well. From HRNZ Tuesday – Addington Cup day A bumper day for Fixed Odds turnover with a Singles-only hold of a tick over $2m. Last year, including Mulits, the hold was $1.7m and the two years before that we held $1.6m each. Total turnover, including the tote, was up 1.9%.
  2. Not sure but whale invented a new word. He was trying to say arsenal or armoury but came up with arsenary ???
  3. All Stars still won three of the four Group races so mission accomplished from them.
  4. Worst drive of the day. Had a good spot on the fence but came off to sit parked. Got beaten for third by the horse he gave cover. Brain dead
  5. Whale has done his homework and found it.???
  6. The website is F$@#ed again there is no mathmatical way they are the right odds unless they are opening the win markets up at over 300%
  7. You may well be right but at the end of the day if they did question him, all Mitchell would say is the horse races better in front and then the stipes would be happy with that explanation and the worst penalty(if you could call it that) they would give is "we will be watching this horse to see how it is driven in future". I have seen it done and said hundreds of times before without question so I don't see it changing anytime soon.
  8. Nice bit of miss counting the laps there by the junior on the hot favourite, or did the last lap bell sound early? Last half in 65 they said
  9. Usually the All Stars demolish the opposition. Today they were only just a class above them. 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,5th and daylight back to 6th
  10. Brodie repetitive! Wash your tongue out! ???
  11. Yes if the money comes for Natalie it is usually a good pointer. Taxman another well backed runner for her that never looked like it would lose.
  12. Easiest lay on Betfair ever from that draw.
  13. Quite easy to pretend to be the whale. A horse that is well down in grade and coming in fresh is Copperfield R1 an each way bet. One Change in R4 has a good draw to work with tonight and is a multimaker, My best value bet tonight is Oscar Bonavena in R7
  14. Brodie is sometimes on the money.
  15. R5 Rebel Kibbybones R6 Mr Midnight R7 Clachanburn R9 Clasina Maria
  16. Not the ones that took Mr Kiwi
  17. 11 races. ?????????
  18. Enough noms to run 16 races again. At least run 11 or 12 races like the good old days.
  19. Cut from the televised awards?
  20. The money is pouring on that non win trotter Moon Way against the horses who have won races 71 into 16
  21. Silent Major in Race 9 could not win that race on its trial form but opens $6.00. Possibly another where there is smoke situation but some strange money in that race.
  22. I tend to ignore trials form for that stable. Usually given quiet runs and then go massive on race day. Both those horses looked weak last prep but obviously have ability if they are prepared to put them in against the good Purdon horses in age group races.Where there is smoke there is fire.
  23. Money starting to come for both those runners now.
  24. I agree plenty of money to be made tonight especially around the fields with 10+ runners Race 2,3 and 9
