Got ya 1.04 https://loveracing.nz/Common/SystemTemplates/Modal/Video.aspx?v=http%3a%2f%2fwww.racingreplays.co.nz%2fmedia%2f201812%2f20181206TARA03_BB.mp4&i=%2fCommon%2fImage.ashx%3fw%3d720%26h%3d400%26a%3d1%26o%3d1%26bg%3deeeeee%26p%3dhttp%3a%2f%2fwww.racingreplays.co.nz%2fmedia%2f201812%2f20181206TARA03_BB.jpg&r=Race+3+-+SMOKEYLEMON+MDN&rs=1
  2. Can someone fill us in about what happened, why etc
  3. This probably the only RITA anyone can hope for
  4. From Peter's speech, but you have to wonder just how much progress has been made on it, as there has been no announcement on who will head it up, and who it will comprise RITA As this review identifies, a complex task and highly technical challenge is in front of us which requires careful management. For this reason I have asked officials to also consider a transition agency. This is not an uncommon tool in a sector or industry about to undergo change. A transitional agency would smooth the operational process particularly if there are changes in racing governance structure. I envisage it playing an important role in changes signalled either today or by decisions to be made by Cabinet. It would also play an instrumental role in racecourse consolidation. This is a process which requires good communication, good co-ordination, and proper consultation with our racing community. Many of you have dedicated your lives to racing, being it the thoroughbreds, the trots, or the dogs and your voice deserves to be heard.
  5. The infrastructure part of the report hinges totally on the money generated from the sale of the 20 courses. I presume there has been a lot of discussion between the DIA(Peters) and the clubs involved, all of it confidential, so probably a lot cannot be reported. The thing that could be reported, is the progress of RITA(Racing Industry Transition Authority?), which would handle a lot of the other stuff, such as outsourcing the TAB, establishing Racing NZ and Wagering NZ, but nothing heard here???
  6. I recall a poster on RC, called Slam Dunk. From what he used to post, he appeared well up to speed on the technicalities of punting Is he on here?
  7. Still in the calendar for Feb The NZTR site Clubs and Courses for Poverty Bay TC is a bit outdated though FEATURED MEETING FEATURED MEETINGS Picnic Raceday – September 2013 Poverty Bay Cup - September 2013Entrance on Thursday is free whilst entrance on Sunday is $5 per person.
  8. Got one about 3 weeks ago Blacklist the sender then delete, never came to anything
  9. Try right click, Translate We'll pass the hat around for your $324
  10. I have edited my post to include you as up to speed
  11. Would you guys who are up to speed(Mardi, Barry, FTF, VC, Curious, Thomas), to illustrate the system you use, be prepared to independently have a go at say one race this Sat, maybe the Bonecrusher Stakes at Ellerslie. It is not an exercise in proving one person is right or wrong but an illustration.
  12. Not bad I thought Collectively, all us nillers(sorry Curious you are apparently not a niller but we'll adopt you anyway), have managed to establish a racing chat site that apart from the odd growing pain, will become the Premier site very soon
  13. Niller A wonderful person, with a negative IQ. "Hey mom! I failed my maths test." "Omg you're such a Niller."
  14. Check out her Facebook page Kopia, it's under Maija Vance, or someone will put up a link Please note, Weasel intends to close this off on Dec 16, so anybody intending to donate, needs to do it by then Thanks
  15. Even the old sage agrees "Competition is a healthy thing, it invariably raises the standards of all involved."
  16. If you feel someone is posting lies and malice Jason, then send a PM through to the Chief each time it happens. He has a couple of other issues on at the moment so may miss stuff
  17. Thanks He does all the graft, I just give it a little nudge from time to time, he's not that great at giving himself a pat on the back
  18. All good, great stuff, if you think you can stop learning, then time to chuck it in
  19. I do alright Ian, but I recognise people who are better than me
  20. BOAY has been regularly ahead of the competition(128 vs 69 at 8.05 this morning), but not consistently enough to challenge the claim of Premier Race Site YET. Remember, we are competing, unlike the racing industry, who failed to compete to protect it's market leadership and share. It is important, registered users online starting threads and posting. How many threads would have fallen flat, had there been no, or few responses, and how many more threads would be started if this continued to happen. Very important for the Chief, all this, after the crap he has had to endure in DARING to start up a competing site. So thanks on his behalf and as is said so often and eloquently, ONWARDS AND UPWARDS
  21. Yep., I have a son that fits that category, it's great because we always come back with fish, but can be a bit hard to handle on the day though
  22. I recall your best day tipping on BOAY Barry by a country mile, was oncourse, Waipa, te Aroha can't remember, seeing the horses in the parade ring How much of a factor is this
  23. I might stop reading this thread, it is frightening, the sophistication and figures involved. Moral of the story, unless you are a punter just having a wager for a bit of enjoyment, then don't kid yourself you can make money unless you get up to speed with the knowledge and techniques involved
  24. hesi

    More charges

Might have trouble convincing an alcoholic of this Also peer pressure is a strong counter to education, especially for the young
  25. Far too eloquent Pete. Nice Option has been around a while on RC, could be a stooge like Wolfman, who knows these days, more likely to have got bored with the paucity of debate.
