Spot on JJ Always keep an eye on what your opposition is doing As much as I hate to say it, as I have lived this site for the last 9 months, but in the last few months, RC have raised their game substantially. Scooby has either learnt from the bad old days, or is being mentored by someone like Phillip Quay. It is now BOAY that has the more toxic atmosphere, more threads closed, more off topic stuff(sorry, I realise this is also). BOAY, no longer has this as an edge And no, I am not interested in RC, I also have principles!!

Nah, don't worry the ship won't sink, but it will never achieve the heights that I had hoped it would when I first started helping, namely RC when Dave and Angie ran it. I wasn't around then, but many have commented on the great community and fun spirit that existed. I, like many of the longer term supporters, who have been alienated by this issue, I presume, will keep our options open with respect to the toleration of a destructive troll Thanks for your kind words by the way, much appreciated

Yep, big days racing coming up at Ellerslie Can we rename this thread Punting 201, and hope it can continue in the right spirit, of people offering their knowledge, by putting forward what they believe to be value selections Come on Mardi, Curious, Barry, VC, Turny, Sandpiper, FTF and a few others I may have missed(apologies). Keep it simple Doug The guy is a troll, who is reeking havoc on the site. So many are trying to tell you that, yet you continue to argue the point. People are getting very flustered and agitated about it, because they see what is happening and despite some of the rhetoric getting a bit heated, they are doing it to try and save the site. Another suggestion, put the guy on hold for a month, and see how quickly things return to normal. Surely you can do that, just think of it as a social experiment If I'm wrong, then I will willingly leave the site Just long enough for PJ's current comp to finish

Which is why, I asked him to point out to me the post, (and I would have deleted it), because I had missed it, and you had apparently also missed it. It's something I did on a small number of occasions. Anyway, Thommo, did not respond then and he did not respond to my post a few days ago

Keep it simple though, this guy is a troll, and should have been despatched a long time ago. If you can't pick that, as most people have been telling you, you have no place owning and running a social media forum. No sniping or non sensical stuff The TAB thread, 500 posts, 12,000 views, no agro also, except towards the TAB, RC had only 300 posts

I've come to the conclusion in the last day Des that he can't be managed He is intent on dominating and corrupting every thoroughbred thread with his loopy garble As said previously I have happily volunteered my time to help build this site, but have better things to do than see any of the work I have done that may have helped the site, be undone, which it is with so many exiting, and for nothing to be done about it
