    krug

It is very relevant. Last week in 7 horse field , KRUG had trouble crossing from gate draw 7 , causing 'tightening " on the first bend to runners inside him, and a bit gassed as well. So run down by ChristiansHavetime. Last run in the 6 horse field , drawn 6 , didn't bother trying for lead, sat One out- one back Prime position , and STILL only 2nd as leader (Who drew 1 Alley) running 55 second half to much a start on KRUG to be able to catch it. KRUG draws ONE, he might have had that advantage (with an 'easy' lead). ?
  2. Hahaha you were spot on the right amount Karrots !! $300,000 . A bloodstock Agent job beckons for you !! lol..
  3. not true Chief . All lives old or young, Governments are elected to 'LOOK AFTER' .not just some. road toll are 'accidents' , not under government control, road SAFETY is paramount and being worked on everyday by your government. TO SAVE ALL LIVES. not just some. sorry about your mum, mine passed in her 50's from some nasty lung thing too. a horrid death, (as are most deaths I guess) yes that Dementia is an awful thing too. The family toll is extroadinary on those around them too. very sad.
  4. What's your point? The virus evolves. It isn't human genes that change it - it is the process of RNA replication. With thousands to millions of replications happening in an infected person the probability of replication errors occuring is great. Covid-19 is a coronavirus - unless this particular strain SARS-COV-2 dies out of its own accord then it will continue to circulate. You are right Chief in that virus evolves in different ways, there was swine flu, bird flu, Spanish flu that killed 50,000,000 worldwide from estimated 500,000,000 that contracted it , 100 years ago. They'll keep turning up Unfortunately, and yes there is a 'Flu season' every year, so nothing new. Alas Whiplash is correct in that a very nasty one WILL EVENTUATE again at some stage, that does kill Young People as well as the sick and elderly... at least our 'Horrid government's' did something to prepare the nation for that event a little, and didn't sit back like UK and watch so many die with this current outbreak. Can't see why you Can't have Fortress NZ ? and Fortress Australia ? until globe settles in down year or 2. we could look after each other (and our pacific Island cousins/ neighbours just fine IMO.
  5. A government Cannot just 'Let Citizens die' if there is some way to prevent it. NZ and Australia are Admired World-wide at the moment for the measures put in place that have led to VERY FEW deaths. and yet you argue against these measures ? Keeping people in their homes has saved hundreds of lives ? you can't sacrifice them to build up community immunity. May be Brodie and yourself can send your mum's down the shops first to start the circulation? I understand the community impact , and economic impact that Brodie and others mentioned (even MELBOURNE is in 5 day mini-lockdown at this second again ,so stadiums empty at the Oz open tennis for a few days as well as all businesses shut AGAIN) so very frustrating. But ALL LIVES MATTER.
  6. Yes a Bettor's Delight filly, $300,000. more money than sense really , could of bought 4 horses at the sale average of $50,000 and had 4 x the chance of a winner and $100,000 still in the kick !!! lol... I would of ONLY looked at the Lot 39 brown colt Rocknroll Dance out of TWIST and TWIRL so 1/2 brother to G1 sensation 'King of Swing' and double G1 winner 'Bettor Twist'..wow look no further !!! He sold for $90,000 , so that is a bargain if ever I saw one .
  7. And absolutely Cracking Drive by Ben Hope in the feature Group3 trot at Addington last Friday with MUSCLE MOUNTAIN as well. The young fellow is going ahead in leaps and bounds , and getting the rewards for pro-active driving.
  8. Well that is impressive then . If you are winning money off maidens and occasional winners then that does make you a GOOD JUDGE and a if winning a Good Punter. well done. I look for the best horses ALWAYS, therefore Group races and TOP earning horses are my priority. They usually have the best Jockeys/ Drivers too. Last start winners (race or trial )is good too to prove fitness. ALLSTARS always gave you a run for your money. (backing 'loose' class trotters going for gallop do not).. My bet yesterday was $100 each way NATURE STRIP (only gallops bet) as was always gunna be in the firing line in that race over 1000m , with the gem Kah on board. Thank you Jamie!!..
  9. U May Cullect winning today I see, another beauty from the Deep South? Majestic Man close up 4th in the Group 1 just now at Melton, deserved win for TOUGH MONARCH was good. always gives his best like MMan too. Karrots , the lady driving 'Red Hot Tooth' in that G1 trot , named Kerryn Manning has driven her 4000th winner recently !! how cool is that, don't think I've seen 4000 races lol. young Kirstin is on her way !!! 2 big wins in 24 hours !! excellent. A Very good win to Stylish Memphis in 1.50.9 Group 2 , so look out Amazing Dream if she turns up for big Mares G1
  10. Race 4 Menangle coming up has Stylish Memphis (mark Jones) for NZ. very short at $3.20 .good luck. If you want a similar horse, with many Menangle wins and been chasing TURN IT UP around lately , which is too hard. take a look at CHEVRONS REWARD (robbie morris) Back in mares class , much easier. I'm on for 10ew at 30 the win and 4.40pl Sportsbet.
  11. You bet on maidens ?? so potentially you are losing money betting to win on horses that have never won before and might never win ever ?? that is very bold. thought you were a good punter?
  12. Why no good /awful for punting On ? If Allstars are not Dominating now , then surely the races are good for a bet ?? You had OFF and GONE $9, Watch ME NOW $12, and Pembrook Playboy $5.50 2nd fav and they all had good form too , so someone could/ would win on those.? unfortunately Gammalite backed REGAZZO MACH and got beaten by an Allstars oldie. hahahaha irony hurts lol..
  13. Absolutely !! I think Mark looked devastated himself at the end of that Group 1 didn't appear to congratulate the young lass that won it very much. Had a perfect sit in behind her after the start and threw it all away with Amazing Dream. tough titties for Mark hahahah the young lass got great trail instead with WATCH ME NOW. He was also haunted by PEMBROOK PLAYBOY trailing the leader as well, giving it a chance for a divebomb head win over Self Assured as well. Not Mark's lucky night?? lol !! but he's had plenty of them, so.... great driving by his 'Conqueror's' ... congrat's to Kirstin if first Group 1. win .
  14. Well the 2 very BIG Fields of trotters last night at Addington in races 1 and 8 both had PERFECT STARTS from the stand. The 32 horses and drivers lined up Magnificently in both races !! Congratulations to the Starter !! (and his helpers) I don't know who they were, But that was 2 of the best stand starts EVER. !! perhaps standards have improved with the BOAY feedback ???? excellent. Plus the drives by nearly ALL in those 2 trots were top standard too! NOT Mark P or Blair O needed for a fantastic display of driving .
  15. Great question Hunter !! I really really hope so. (just love the kiwis winning here ) The group 1 we had in Brisbane they were 3rd and 5th behind current Miracle Mile Champ KING OF SWING. tonight ONE CHANGE takes on a Group 2 at Menangle . he is still young but go close . yeah Shane is Fab driver. TURN IT UP absolutely destroyed our best horse (multiple G1 winner Colt31 who was $1.60 fav) last week with a demolition job !!!! yes the rest of field was piss pour as you said ..hahahaha I like to say 'progressive' myself lol. I'm gunna back TURN IT UP to WIN next week (BIG races on soon at Menangle) against the big guns King of Swing and Lochinar Art .???? Goooooo kiwis ..
  16. Well the answer is their horses have been dispersed to a degree. Princess Tiffany and Turn It Up and One Change now all winning with authority in Australia every week. some are in Akld , etc. Sometimes the horses should be given credit you know. not just the trainers. Why PICK on your New Trainer there ? he's just starting off for goodness sake. And if you criticise SELF ASSURED and AMAZING DREAM for those brilliant seconds , that is tough marking. WE should be congratulating their race Victor's Nathan Willamson and Kristin Barclay !!!!!! Exceptional and Classy and brilliant display and effort guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cullen won one race last night (same as DUNN"S) have they stopped spinning too? you should ask Newmarket??? It's ALL ABOUT FAITH for Hayden Cullen won in race 2 beat the very Promising horse REGAZZO MACH (who beat last nights G1 winner recently down south as well) must make them both worth SIX figures ? great racing .. well done to all.
  17. Rubbish,!!! Self Assured ran 2nd for Allstars twice as well in Oct/Nov leading up to the fab NZ CUP win. now he has twice run second for Hayden Cullen (going an EXCELLENT race both times) AMAZING DREAM has had neck and head margins for past 5 starts now . won a GROUP 2 for Hayden last time. was also slandered for gettin beaten by 'Beyond Words' at Auckland in Dec. She was 9 lengths clear of 3rd last night ????? pretty solid effort !! well done team Cullen (and Mark) So is rubbish saying a 'slide' is in place. They both went exceptionally well (as per usual ).last night.
  18. Regazzo Mach (2nd) went very nicely race 2, but was up against Mark P (who just drives so positively all the time) . Regazzo Mach ends up 4 wide most of last bend, makes up 4 lengths on Mark on 'It'sALL about Faith' but too late.!!! It was a very good race. Cranbourne (5th) went very well too , with a very positive drive on it from bad barrier, and was intitled to push Regazzo wide late, I spose, That would of had Marky Boy chuckling with glee on the leader.! Great racing and very nice horses in that one.
  19. Well the Aussie part of the 'team' , are doing a great job with PROBABEEL (fabulous first up win since the Cox Plate, in a G3 just last week at Caulfield winning easily after being 3 deep throughout) Cox Plate was a bit far distance for her possibly, in the Spring , but the EPSOM 1600m win was fantastic in SYD. Just did my vote for the ALL STAR MILE on her today.!! Good Luck Jamie Richards and "Team" !!!!
  20. Do you have pictures of both hanging in your living room ?
  21. Here we go .. now Ranga with 2 drives? fancies himself as Blair Orange no doubt ? lol
  22. Oh I see ALLADIN has Aussie owners now from that article. (That's a shame! ..lol better the $'s stay in NZ ,lol) I was looking at LA ROSA tonight , who I see won the 2 year old sales millions division last year and should go close tonight at Addington in the 3 year old division held for the first time. She was bought for $100,000. So colts about double that , I would go $200,000 . American Dealer bought for $23k ! they be happy folk now !! lol..
  23. Tonight's the night Hunter. !!!! $150,000 race for La Rosa in Race 6 Addington. Surely Mark Jones (and Sam the driver) deserve it ?? I'll cross every finger and toe for them tonight!! lol. After 2 ever so close 1/2 heads placings in Group 1's in Auckland during Dec. with Allstars pipping them out of it. Drive a BIG race Sam !!! best of Luck to Mark Jones and owners too. !!!
  24. Yes. it All got a bit 'tight' as they left the straight last week. Franco Riot being driven out from the pole , on loose reign sticking his legs up there , didn't help anyone...lol.. be interesting to see if he tries that again (Jeffries) his undies as might of 'changed colour' last week , like your Sweet Lou foal lol..He'll be a tad nervous now hahaha.. .. And much better horse in ALLADIN this week is in there R4 , so that will be a better showing and give the SWEET LOU's another boost all going well !!!!
  25. Not often you see a winner of a $200,000 race change stables after winning. Alladin after taking out the 3 yearold harness million New years eve resumes at Auckland Friday night . New Trainers Blanchards, in the north must be Delighted with this pick up of a very promising Horse. KRUG is still in town but Alladin will burn the lamp and give SWEET LOU a boost with a win over the Bettor's Delight colt KRUG. or will 'Tony AGH iceman' clean them up at the first corner again this week ??? drawn the outside again. lol.... Icy out there? How's your SWEET Lou filly Karrots? what stage is she up too?
