Race 9. And onto the BIG pace. The Betcha Slot race . with a few decent horses running here. Introducing for the Galah The Duchess , Merlin and Chase A Dream For NoworNever we have The Duchess and The Don For Brodster we have Don't Stop Dreaming and O Connor For Ranga we have Chase A Dream For Mikey it's the Don , LTF, DSD and Chase A Dream ( could nearly get the F4 ? ) For Chief we have Republican Party For Gamma we have Don Hugo and Leap To Fame ( small Quinella chance ? ) and for the TABman driving like a madman in this one it's DSD, Pinseeker, OC, RakerotheRocket and the Pub party too. good luck everyone !!

Race 8 result Matai Phil 1st, Boudica 2nd, The Surfer 3rd, Cos I can 4th. Comp leader Ranga picks up 2nd and 4th for 8 more points. Mikey got 4pts while Surfing in that race. BOAY Slot leaderboard after Race 8 Rangatira 56 points , NoworNever 42 points, TABman 38 points , Mikey 36 pts, the Galah and Chief 30 pts, Brodie 28 pts , Gamma 24 pts.

Oh crap . all the local trots have started in Aus as 5.30 now. and they're not broadcasting race 8. what a rip off !!! getting some stupid standing start in Hobart race 3 instead🙄.

Race 8 A standing start. A few will be out of it right from the start. as they gallop out the back. ( Galah and Gamma not in this race either, galloping to the kitchen for Cup of tea 😅 ) NoworNever has 1+2, Mikey has 5+9, TABbie has 1, Brodie has 1+3+5+12 , Chief has 10+11, and the Slot leader Rangatira has 1+2+6+11 which are Boudica and 3 x Roughies.

Race 7 Result The TAB trot slot. ArceePhoenix 1st, Queen Elida 2nd, The Locomotive 3rd , Muscle Mountain 4th. Ranga , Mikey (moves up 3 places) and Gamma on the Winner there, with Gamma getting 2nd and 3rd as well for a handy 18 points. BOAY Slot leaderboard after Race 7 Rangatira 48 points , NoworNever 42 points, TABman 38 points , Mikey 32 pts, the Galah 30 pts, Chief and Brodie both 28 pts, Gamma 24 pts.

Nice Improvement from the winner there after running 4th last year in the Inaugural TAB trot. Found it a bit easier without Just Believe In it this time for new TAB trot title holder ARCEE PHOENIX. Muscle Mountain was my pick in that but was a tickle disappointing after nice 1-1 sit. A 1-2-3 finish for the Aussies but with 5 runners they had the ammo to do it.

The $600,000 TAB trot is up next (hope that doesn't mean Ben Hope and Bob Butt run the Quinella for TABman 🤣) In Race 7 NoworNever has 1+2, the Galah has OscarB No.3 , Brodie has BetNwin No.9 Mikey has 1+3+4+6 , Ranga has 4+9 , TABman has 7+9 , Chief has Zip again (sorry Chief) and Gamma has a smacking 1+2+4+5+6 , about time goting roll forward from the back 😆

RACE 6 Result Bettors Anvil 1st, Greased Lightnin 2nd, Got the Chocolates 3rd, Metal Mickey 4th. the Galah got 8 points for 2nd and 4th , and TABforever got 12 points with a 1st and 3rd haul !! well done 🍻 . BOAY Slot leaderboard after Race 6 Rangatira 40 points (and new leader) NoworNever and TABman both 36 points , Mr Galah 30 pts, Chief and Brodie 28 points Mikey 20 pts, Gamma 6 pts.

At the line race 6 and Brodie, Ranga and TABman all on the 20-1 Roughie winning from the outside barrier. These boys are fine judges of horse flesh and pick up 8 points each for that to close in on NoworNever who didn't get the 'Choc's' in that one (running 3rd lol)

Race 6 time for 3 year old boys . NoworNever 1+2, the Galah has 3+7, Mikey has 4+10 , Gamma has 9+10, Brodie has 8+9 , Tab has 2+ 8 Rangatira with 5+8+9+11 for the ABC slot and Chief sits out this one on the sidelines.

Ranga has 2nd and 3rd in Race 5 with Arafura and Beside Me to move up and attack for the Lead !!! NoworNever has been setting a strong Tempo up front aided by some classy Mark Purdon drives. BOAY Slot leaderboard after Race 5 NoworNever and Ranga both 32 points , Chief 28 points , TABman 24 pts (also 2nd and 3rd with the SI drivers ) The Galah 22 pts, Brodie and Mikey both 20 pts, Gamma 6 pts.

RAce 5 Result Without You 1st, Arafura 2nd, Beside Me 3rd, YoureTheOneThatiWant 4th . HALF way HOME BOAY Slot leaderboard after Race 5 Now or Never 32 points . Chief 28 points.

Carter once again unstuck by the cunning old Fox Mark . Another Marky Boy special drive on WITHOUT YOU, and he gets the money for NoworNever and the Galah as well knowing who the Big guns are . The Galah also picks up 2 points for BarryP's horse 4th for a 10 points haul in that one.

Race 5 for the 3 year old Fillies is up next. Chief and Mikey ride on the Red Hot Fav BESIDE ME. could end up being the next 'Adore Me' the way she is going. NoworNever 1+2, the Galah has 1+5, Brodie has 2+3+6 , TABbie has 6+8+9 driven by the Southerners. Ranga has the ABC's running hot in this one with 2+4+6+8+9. Gamma dead in the water again 🙄.

RACE 4 result and a very fitting one again . 'Romeo Foxtrot' raced by a lot of the folk that put on and organise this amazing night of Harness racing each year. David Branch (Cambridge CEO) and family. Romeo Foxtrot 1st, Castana 2nd, High Energy 3rd, Lord PopnJay 4th. BOAY Slot race POINTS ( after Race 4 ) NoworNever 24 points (with 2nd placed Castana from the pole) Chief also 24 points (with the juniors 2nd and 4th in that trot) Rangatira 22 pts, Mikey 16 pts , Brodie 14 pts TABman 14 pts, Galah 12 pts , and Gamma 6 ts

yes was nearly gunna say Kim driving exceptionally well for a while now . 2 BIG wins just last Friday at Addington , and she should go close to beating these 'Juniors' tonight. Trista has a lot of QLD drives and quite experienced as well. No trophy for you yet though as you have 3 blokes only 2 points adrift , ready to pounce lol 😋

Race 4 coming up is a mid class trot. Leader NoworNever has 1+2, the Galah has 6, Chief has 1+3+9 , Brodie has 7, Ranga has 1+2+7. Mikey, Gamma and TABman no runner in race 4.

Race 3 Result Ohoka Achilles 1st, Iron Brigade 2nd, Always Flyin 3rd, Spirit of Waiheke 4th. BOAY Slot race POINTS ( after Race 3 ) NoworNever (takes the lead with that great KIM Butt drive) 18 points Mikey + Chief + Ranga are ALL 16 points Brodie and the TAB are all square on 14 points Galah both 8 points , and Gamma 6 points is off the mark with Trista Dixon 2nd in that race for QLD.

An old BOAY contributor Kim Butt wins the lady drivers Race !!! very fitting. Congratulations KIM ! that was a perfect 10/10 drive on OHOKA ACHILLES and you helped TABman with his band of South Island Drivers , and NoworNever from his 2 alley, get some good points in the BOAY slot race.

Looks like Race 3 is a Lady drivers Invitational we have slot holders with a huge chance of some points in this one !!! NoworNever on 1 + 2 , Brodie has 8+10+11, Mikey has 3+4, TABman has 2+6+9+11 ( South Island chicks) Gamma has 7+8+10 ( the Aussie chicks) , Ranga has 6+8+11+12, and CHief has a JUNIOR Bonanza in this one with 1+3+4+5+6+11 Galah misses out altogether unless we jam a wig on Marky Boy and sneak him into the field somehow ? 🤣

RACE 2 Result Andretti 1st, Fugitive 2nd, Prince Lincoln 3rd , Lincoln Lover 4th. BOAY POINTS ( after Race 2 ) Mikey + Chief both co-lead on 14 points Ranga 12 points , NoworNever 10 points, (picking up 4th place a s well as the winner) Brodie and the Galah both 8 points , TAB forever 6 points Gamma = big fat zero (where the hell are these blasted Aussies ? )

The old Grand Master strikes in race 2. Mark Purdon super cool as usual. Young Carter gave him plenty of cheek but ANDRETTI wins. Three more 'BOAY slot holders' taste Victory with The Galah a Purdon man fan from way back , joined by inside running man NoworNever, and our local ABC man Rangatira ALL enjoying that winner .

RACE 1 result. MAZEPPA 1st, Voronov 2nd, Crackerjack 3rd, Ruby Ridge 4th. 3 players on the winner 🏆. Ranga on the 3rd horse. BOAY POINTS ( after Race 1 ) Mikey + Chief + Brodie ALL on 8 points , Ranga 4 pts . + 4 slot holders yet to get going. Race 2 has NoworNever running with 1 and 2, Galah and Ranga with No. 2, and Chief, Mikey and TAB with the Carter Dalgety favourite drawn on the outside Fugitive No.6. Gamma and Brodie sit this one out.

They're Racing on the night of Champions. A loose class trot to kick off the BOAY slot challenge. MAZEPPA wins. And a great start by the BOAY locals with Mikey selecting the last start winner , Brodie nails the trainer Mr Bernie Hackett with partner Michelle and Chief has the excellent junior driver Crystal Hackett !!! That's 8 points each straight out of the gate.
