Track Record tonight for Imperatriz . and very easy soft win . A bit like the $1.60 on Nz's Best Trotter in the country racing at Addington tonight. Muscle Mountain winning easily. money for jam. Akuta 2nd at Addington in the Group 2 would of been 'nice' . but can't have all the luck lol.... The $1.75 on All my multi's looks good cruising into a big Brissy Lions winning weekend . Bronco's would also add to the 'fun'. 🍻🍾 Hope in Your Heart would be a fantastic good result in the Epsom now. Watch for her flying home late on (to win I hope)

The Stewart barn clearly intending to Trifecta the time-honoured Kilmore Cup tonight. But had to settle 2nd , 3rd and 4th as BETTER ECLIPSE claimed victory. BETTER ECLIPSE being the horse that popped over there and ran 4th in the BIG $1,000,000 RACE by Grins. KANGO who ran 6th in the Grins race stopped and ran 100m last . The kiwi's aren't as sharp as they used to be . Hopefully come good at Interdominion time in December . AKUTA beaten at Addington too, seems a bit of a surprise. Maybe building fitness? . wins the Nz Cup anyway 🏆👍💰

no worries mate . I'll roll with 'potential champion' then. I always call someone who performs at the very top level of any sport ( that is Group 1's in racing) and then WINS a champion of their sport. If the All Blacks Win . they'll be 'World Champions' . What can they say ? 2 horses were given a drip feed the day before a race. Maybe they were only out by a few hours ? from the one day rule. Of course they treat their horses All the time . The Te Akau mob had their good horse disqualified , but you still aren't going to 'Slam em in the Media ' as cheats when they turn out so many incredible horses. So That you would think is Far far more Serious ? yes? A Major stable with an error . How should the media handle that. ?? as a mistake , or a calculated error like you are accusing the Stewart Barn of doing ? Tokyo Tycoon became the 10th Matamata Slipper winner for Te Akau. This victory sees him unbeaten in four 2YO starts. Unfortunately Tokyo Tycoon was disqualified from his Group 1 Sistema Stakes victory in March 2023 Winners are swabbed, and i'm sure the authorities are doing the best they can to catch those exceeding the limits. Stewart hasn't had any disqualified for Positives . No good stressing and saying they're deliberately cheating When You Don't Know That for sure regarding a bit of Bad Timing?. I've commented that Mark Purdon and Emma Stewart have been dominant and winning races for a long time because of the TEAM effort and Strategies they have in place. The best support staff going. they break in and get to the races horse after horse. Very admirable. I don't think the Media should crucify anyone , as you are calling for. How would they know the facts in this case. Act Now has won since being scratched that day at Maryborough by stewards and I'll be betting it was swabbed. Anything 'untoward' should be penalised . question 1 / only Emma could possibly know that. not you or me. question 2/ only Emma would know that. There's always talk about treatments / withholding periods etc. A lot of treatments are for the Welfare/ recovery of the horse. not to make it do better and race harder in the race. blatant cheating things are milkshakes and things like that.... question 3/ we are NO CHANCE of knowing her race day treatments. Innocent until proven guilty mate. you have no idea of the answer to that question ?? question 4/ All horses get treatments of some kind . orally , iv or tube . it helps them with welfare and recovery. Any high class athlete takes additives mate. Weetbix is good but you might just be an 'also ran' if you rely on it . question 5 / NO , I can answer that question. I think the testing is poor IMO . Mainly because the cycling athletes (who perform SUPERHUMAN feats ) every grand tour racing 20 days straight and they only catch a few of them 😅😂 Lance Armstrong got away for it for Years , and only caught and stripped of titles in the end because a disgruntled ex Team-mate dobbed them in. Mate you are starting to sound like everyone that used to question Mark Purdon , nearly every post , before realising he is a bloody champion, the son of a legend , and took on Queenslands best (Nat) as an aid to reach even greater heights. Emma Stewart has been getting winners (of feature races) the same length of time as Allstars. EVERYONE knows Horses get racing treatments. I'm NOT suggesting what Grimson actually does, but obviously to ALL and sundry , he is doing something that others aren't . Emma S and Mark P are 'creating ' their own horses through buying them at sales these days and putting in place the AMAZINGLY Talented support crew of breaking them in and working them up , that they have both done for many many years now. TOP of the Tree they are my friend. Mr Grimson , meanwhile , does Not do this . he (and Jabck) get tried horses and horses jump out of the ground for a 'term' then retreat again to the back of the field. What do you think is happening ? a bit more than luck anyway .. I guess he won't tell anyone. Kiwi Jack would know though . he's never far behind and swinging on the Grim coat-tails lol..😁

Hey what about Cobalt in that case. ? plenty of trainers dumped out for that ? all cobalt does is form Vitamin B12 to increase metabolism . sounds slow to me . the trainers go out though if it swabs. My friend Darrel Graham had a year DQ for Cobalt. I think his wifeshorse had just chewed a rail a few times. All very sad. The galloping boys go out for Cobalt too as seen in this clipping below, so why not Caffiene ? which is stronger . yeah , but you still can't produce your horse at the races , get a positive , have your horse DQed , and then just say It "wasn't us" , it was "only just over" , and then get off free ? (free of suspension anyway , but were still fined so there was an infringement commited ) some lawyers are good , that's for sure. while others like Coulson , Adamant his horse was nobbled , (i'e didn't do it himself ) gets a seven year disqualification and the Interdominion Final taken off him. went on fishing boat for a few years so a bit of a change of scenery for a 1000+ race winning trainer/driver If you're more than 0.05 on the road drink driving,,, it's just like being a cup a coffee over smetimes lol 😅 ?? but they all have to serve the suspension time if they're over. No matter how or why they were over the limit (even to a very minor degree where the person wasn't even impaired in the slightest lol). (It's worse with horses too, because someone is deliberately trying to cheat the system / limits/ etc for profit or gain)

As for the Stable in question , was there an error as Ranga says.? this seems the likely case. Didn't Te Akau your main galloping stable have an error recently ??? no good having kittens over it. Didn't your main stable Robert Dunn's have 4 horses disqualified at Nelson for Positives ? . A MUCH more serious charge in my book . Australian Phil Coulson got 7 years with his caffiene Positive in NZ . Pound 4 Pound Molloy hired a Gun lawyer for them , because they are 'good' blokes ...and got them off with a fine. Anyone else with the positive and it would of been GOODNIGHT Nurse !!! . Emma Stewart doing a terrific job mate, such a shame you want to hold a small treatment against them. some good points there. Great to see The Real SHERLOCK back on deck winning at Melton for Nz and Nathan Purdon. getting set for the rich Victoria Derby soon. Also winning again QUEEN ELIDA to make it 10 straight wins this year in the trotting FFA for her Nz owners the Baron and McKenzie families. Also winning ex-pat horse TERRY , who most here would know from Nz fast class races. Emma Stewart 5 runners were in 3 races. They ran a trifecta, another win , and a 3rd. Perhaps they are slipping a bit ?? letting 2 horses finish ahead of them ? 😉😂😆😂 Meanwhile at Menangle young Jason Grimson at his Grim best with MY NAMEISJEFF again. Blazing home the last half mile in under 53 seconds. 3 out of 3 now and perhaps the Interdominion a target ?? at Brisbane if can run those sectionals . Trainor drove the stablemate into 2nd place 😆 and they were 4 lengths clear of the others !! Go Jason Go !!!! .......he's a star that lad. Also at Menangle , the feature Trotters Carousel Final was Won by a McCarthy runner. No surprise there , but when you see it was driven by great young driver Jack Callaghan (regular pilot for McCarthy Superstar 'Spirit of St Louis') and Luke McCarthy drove the 2nd placegetter for Victorian stable and ex-pat kiwi Brent Lilley You Have to ask the Question . some sort of question ? any question will do ????? fancy a Trainer driving against his own stable horse . Mr Galah will not be happy. as today the Emma Stewart stable sent 4 runners 'Over the Border' to contest 4 heats of the NSW Breeders Sires stakes. at Wagga. All 4 winning very easily by lengths and lengths. After dominating the Victorian Sires Finals last week (and for years really ) could be 4 more Group 1's the way they're shaping. What I found Very Amusing the 'BEN YOLE' 'disease from Tassie' was even at Wagga . somehow he has loaded a race there with 5 runners that are based in Victoria. One old horse won it ,named MY CELEBRITY that went round and round for 3 years for Yole in Tassie, last winning there a year ago in slow time. So he (Ben Yole) has a sattelite stable in Victoria and they win heaps of races with his cheap horses (still racing trained in his name) as the Yole company owns shares in most, but because they are in better 'Conditions' and better stable staff , the horse has won 5 out of 5 this year (running 4 seconds quicker too lol 😆) since leaving the horrid training conditions it /the horses endure in the harsh Tasmanian stabling conditions .... I think the mainland invasion will be well and truly on shortly with heaps being sent back out of Tas now, by Yole and Bain. (Aaron Bain racing syndicates won 8 of the 9 races at Tamworth yesterday. another bloke like Yole trying to own/ or train the lot on a racecard at country venues to get their wins..)

A physical assault should be a Police Matter. It is very serious. But is only pursued if one of the parties decides to continue with pressing charges . If No Charges are laid after an incident , then Why should the guy (or anyone) lose their license ? The 12 months thing was just horse-shit , and 4 months for young kiwi lad Jack Trainor ?? what joke . just standing up for his mates. I imagine the fines, from the trotting body , are/were for bringing the sport into 'disrepute' or similar money grab words , for squabbling in a public place . Thank goodness for that. Don't think any sportsperson anywhere (or supporters of those sports) would want an active participant 'Disqualified' from participating for a period, because someone verbally assaulted them while they were out celebrating a winner/win with friends and family.

Isn't it worse to be a 6 pack short of a carton ? (that really sucks when someone takes your beer) Definitely possible up here. Never drenched them in Victoria though. This Thursday we'll still be racing at Redcliffe and gunna be 35 degrees here. The trainers will be tubing , dripping feeding whatever they can do straight after . to look after their horses recovery. You should see the giant bucket of 'black' water (with all sorts of stuff in it ) that sits outside the stalls on race days of the 'better' Trainers, that the horses guzzle into, They take Immeadiate action after the race to start the horses recovery and avoid the dehydration . Yes I know ... what about the 'day before' and what's in that .... but whatever 🙄..... go and ask Grimson and Trainor I reckon ?? 😆 (but don't get punched lol) 😉😁

It was an IV drip mate. (so it says on early report) they once used to put them on football players at half-time , but banned it in the end because the teams that did that had distinct advantage 2nd half . They pop them on any miriad of hospital patients for any number of reasons . extra saline to help blood pressure , so on and so forth.. it's no huge technology cheat thing ? The Eureka winner was in the retention barn mate. so a 'clear 1 day threshold' of administration would of been achieved in that case. so why take the race off it ? unless it returns a positive later on. I think this shows duty of care . horses need treatments to race at that level. anything you can do helping in recovery and that is good for the horse. At that top level you'd flatten em pretty quick without some aids and good nutrition. Seems the timing was wrong with this case in question. (the one day thing) you'd be surprised mate How much horses get something an hour before a race , on the truck , in the washbay , (behind the wash bay lol) ... the day before ?? geeez why bother worrying . The Emma Stewart Barn still had 2 horses in the Maryborough Gold Cup Sunday, even after stewards scratched Act Now from the race for the dreaded 'Day before' treatment. The 2 horses ran great races 3rd and 4th behind the Odds on favourite Rock N Roll Doo . (the horse that went over there for the Nz Cup last year ) NZ Horse KANGO having first Australia start in that race as well , (last start was AKLD cup in May), and went like a busted arse after sitting one-one. Maybe could of done with being stabled at the Emma Stewart complex to get some solid treatments like AMORE VITA did/has/gets ? , for her Nz connections .. take with pinch of salt mate 😁 and good humour of course 😉

Some things are hard to comment on mate. I drenched all my horses the day after they raced rather than the day before , so to avoid any sanctions. The Emma Stewart Barn IS the gold standard , and results for years reflect this. Yes a farrier was named as Trainer for a few seasons when the McCarthy barn had a positive and Belinda did a year. The New Zealander Craig Cross 😂. that was quite funny , with the farrier winning Group 1's 😉😂 what an honour !!! seems a common thing to name Stable Staff . currently the very large Kerry-anne Morris barn is being covered by 'Elizabeth Heath' even at Menangle today. Don't know who that is? , could be like a Jenna Dunn type in the stable function ? who knows.... but the stable carries on (minus a figure head ) Yeah , great they catch em ! I think it was good in Nz Alford and Jones and those sorts were removed and there was Plenty Of Comment about it at the time . Which is good . I don't think 'silence' prevails . Huge stables Webberley in Tas , Hunter/cockburn in QLD , Clinton Hall from the from the Very famous 'Hall' family in WA , even got 5 years. some of them even Longer ... life....Do the crime >>> get the time I reckon 🤔 . Grant Dixon and Shane Graham are the Gold standard stables in Queensland and even they got DQ's for driving infringements . Grant's wife Trista did a year DQ , and Shane Graham (trainer of Turn It Up ) did '2 years Out' not that long ago . but once the penalty is served you just get on with it..... N McGrath got 7 or 8 years there ... that's pretty serious time. the poor bugger.... why didn't Dunns get time for Caffiene at Nelson that time ? (the horses were DQed . )

That unfortunate investigation aside , the thread died here as The Real Sherlock was a a late scratching last night 😄 in the Vic bred Final . What a Fizzer ! ! lol . Haven't found out why yet. Final summary of the 12 x Group 1 's last night then >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mark and Nathan Purdon trotter 'We Can Have It All' ran 2nd after leading as $1.70 fav.... . Better news with the New Zealand owned 'Amore Vita' romping in by lengths . ( so made a clean sweep of 2 year old, 3 year old and now 4 year old Vic Bred Finals !!! congrats to owners !! Emma Stewarts 28 runners were in 8 out of the 12 G1 Vicbred Final races run. She won 5 !!. 🏆 (2 or 3 Trifecta's as well). and ran just 2 trotters and one of them won as well . very good result. And the stable also produced the Winner of next years $2,000,000 EUREKA as well.... a colt named 'Petracca'. The Captain Treacherous colt blitzing them by lengths in a hand-canter. Get on now if you can !! 😉
