Was just reading with only one meet in the North through June weekly and 2 fortnightly, some common sense there, 12 races on Friday nights at Auckland, why not one Friday night meeting, and Nelson get their 2 days in June back, maybe tieing in with Blenhiem, just a thought....Oamaru took over Forburys date in january and have another before Xmas, the real problem club is Kapiti, last January they were on a hiding to nothing racing same day as Blenhiem, I thought it was stupid , turned out it was. Southland stay the same, don't need anymore. Canterbury have plenty but whether they subsidise northern racing, that's up for debate.

Betting figures may be the same or no gains as you say, well are they letting large punters on? Same for sport, I've stopped but are they letting the large head to head punters on there, I'd say no.
