Speaking of Winston I hear he was getting stuck into the government the other day, he created it, what a Jekyll and Hyde.

Does anybody know what they are doing with Victoria Park.
-
I will post some winners tomorrow night😁

Karrots are you joining the que after midnight for KFC ?
-
Probably find 50 more may go around Alexandra Park friday.

What is the obsession with queuing for miles for KFC,it is good but really,I've only had KFC about once in 18 months, I do eat chook but as I hardly go to town much that don't make it easy. Tried that KFC hot and spicy, it was hot but apart from that didn't excite me. As for Cambridge gee day one on the new track was a momentous occasion, now hardly even gets noticed, just another day of industry, I bet most of the people who went were probably one day wonders.

That nor'easter is what makes Dunedin so chilly, maybe they have a roof over the rugby ground but I bet it's still probably no warmer than carisbrook, just drier.

Before they started transmission I did state that their idea of trackside radio was this type of format, a question was asked by a text as to why they don't do the Aussie races, guy on radio said they are working on it, today they did the 2 NZ meetings after one but there is just a bit too much time between races, the guy fronting the programme used to be on trackside so may be a little frustrated by this format but give them time, the race programmes are longer and they are on sunday as well so let's just see, hopefully it will improve. To be in the punters club you need to have a TAB account but one thing they should do is let the people who are in the punters club do the picking. Overall though as a radio setup I think they are ok, I don't listen to them all the time, I don't watch horses on trackside all the time but done right it could do well or at least stay in business.

I like the look of me being a reigning champ, never seems to transfer to real life but that's life. When one actually looks at it probably punting on place bets like these games is probably the least risk way to make some coin, was listening to senz yesty afternoon and the guy from the TAB was reading off all the big bets, all for the win and probably most of them didn't, with the top3 or top4 they seem like good ways to accumulate, trying to pick the first three or four or pick 6 sure has a higher return but less likely return anything. Betting on the fixed odds though if you won too often too easily then the TAB would restrict you, winners don't earn them money, losers do 4 o clock for me this morning, that's even late by my standards but as I say there is plenty of sport on the other side of the world to follow,. In keeping in line with the thread I'm gunna sort out some picks for Oamaru, not so confident at Oamaru, Addington form is pretty consistent really.

You ain't the most regular poster, I don't think I am either but we can spend a lot of time online, gee how did we exist before the net, as for me being here at 6 in the morning, sometimes I have a habit of going to sleep on the couch, then waking up at some odd hour, sometimes 2 or 3 or 4 in the morn then I go to bed, sometimes I listen to zb, sometimes I follow the football from Europe, sometimes watch you tube, one thing leads to another and when I should be dead to the world I'm still awake, no one can deny the net and our computer, smartphones are very addictive.. As for the picking comp may look into that tomorrow, the other site does has a comp on a Saturday sorting out some picks can take up a lot of time, lots of toil for little return, life can be like that sometimes too. Bonnies Chance never liked Alexandra Park or never had the luck go her way, a great horse though, got a shit run in 81 Cup won by Armalight but got redemption a year later, Richard Brossnan in many ways was a bit too much of a sit back sort, some of those Aussies that came to nz would always go for it, probably the smaller tracks at home created those driving methods but some of the horse power they had was pretty impressive -
Jacindas making a big deal over covid, other than that the cupboard is bare of anything of much use to nz, Winston must have seen something no one else did. When the one o clock sermon comes on the radio that's the time to turn off and go do something useful. To think she ended up in the job over someone like Bill English defies logic, William was not the be all and end all but a pretty steady hand none the less.

I should add ,Henry Skinner may have driven the horse sometimes, I see it was trained by Ali Malcolmson near the end of its racing suggesting it needed the beach training, he ended up with a few others for the same reason. -

Probably the best call of a race Reon Murtha did, it summed the moment up nicely, it's on you tube that race. No Response was the other race that springs to mind.
