I don't think there is anything wrong with posting comments, I just don't like getting into slagging anybody personally,we must remember this is still a public forum, I wouldn't like to read someone calling me a cheat or whatever, not that I am but constructive comment is not destructive.

7 races and about 65 horses give or take a few at Ruakaka yesty,is this really viable,how many horses are trained there,with Counties Sunday and Matamata Friday, Te Rapa Saturday, ain't there enough meetings up north. Otaki today have 7 races today,Hastings only 8 Saturday,it seems a long time since the spike in numbers after the lockdown.

Another good article on Alexy in the ODT today,seems hes going to outlive a racecourse that's over a hundred years old,some achievement,I suspect that some of the journos must read these comments or threads on this site,the ODT ran a story on the spitfire after he won too,probably had the spitfire not been so popular on here ,wouldn't have caught anyone's attention.

I had a look at the fields for Southland,below average really,one thing that come to mind though was why run 2 open handicap races,1600 and 1200 for 15000 each,there are 5 in one and 6 in the other,why not run one for 30000,it would probably get more entries for a start and probably would bump up the numbers for the supporting races,Riverton did well a fortnight ago,seems a bit odd a lot are absent for this meeting,just a thought anyway.

i will confirm, the racecourse,as for the other, not sure, the post sometimes are rather interesting.

It's not going to be the same without Forbury,nor Alexy for that matter.

Didn't see the race but I see it pulled up,must have got a bad check,a certainty beaten,be on it next time.

I read in ODT saturday there is no guarantee they will race those winter dates at this stage. Surely though with the spitfire, and Alexy lining surely this is going to captivate all harness followers lol but it seems not.

Seems a mix up here,no 1 Matai Jetstar,something is fucked up check it out if you want with nzhr site,a trotting winner racing in a non winners pace,I think they got a wrong name. Maybe I'm wrong here somewhere.

Why all of a sudden after a large chunk of the season racing on Wednesdays and Thursdays does Southland now have a string of saturdays,strange as it is club rugby starts today,racing and rugby often go hand in hand so why in spring especially are they shunted on to unattractive days,will the turnovers on a Saturday as meeting 3 be the better or worse then racing midweek,some of the scheduling is an enigma to me.

There was one guy on radio who miss pronounced things from time to time,got rather annoying though when he kept doing it.

I also get the impression that some of the presenters ain't that fussed being stuck in a studio all day,O'Connor didn't last long,a jobs a job I guess.

You would think on a day like today and every saturday that the TAB would have sold off the frequencies with a deal to have free to air radio. Today ideally would be good if all NZ and main meetings from oz at least has some coverage,as I've stated it will be a sports station but please people tell me what sport is capturing the nation today? So days like today should be racings time. The online simulcast is fine to degree,as in if you are desperate to hear the eighth greyhound race from Mandurah at 10 35 on a cold winters night,if you are really keen then you will find a way. As for trying to promote sports betting,if the TAB dont have the sports betting then the younger people will just go elsewhere for their bets on the NBA,NRL ,MLB,premier league etc

Today I don't think is holiday ,yesty was and Monday is,tomorrow is a bit of a grey area,maybe the Saturday Monday for Hawera may not be a goer but surely something around this time could be accommodated,racing finished in CD area by April is a wee bit short changing things.

It's actually probably one of the slickest websites I think there is online,let's forget about the negatives as such like trying to get money out of them in some cases The live in play for sport actually intrigues me how they can have game amiinations,(I think that's the right word) live and up to the second from anywhere in the world is rather clever,how they do it ,it would be nice to know.

They dont profit from winners. Just to add I often wonder how much they contribute to any sport or racing organisation in NZ,after all they take bets on our racing and all of our sport as well.

2 starters in the field with ratings in the 50s,now I ain't losing sleep over this but whats the rules on such things,can anyone enlighten me?
