  1. I must’ve missed it in the news and it is probably been advertised! I notice that Ashburton tomorrow has a couple of races that are for horses that are graded as low as 35!!!! Since when have we ever had horses graded lower than 40??????? Is this a new thing fkr horses to keep dropping below 40 for this new season?? Seriously if a horse was down to as low as 35, you would think the owners should consider whether they had a horse worth paying training fees for?

  2. Once again Nelson has run a meeting with predominantly mile races! Yes it gives a bit of variety from our 2000metre plus racing but it is not a great spectacle or an attractive punting medium! Yes there will be some that enjoy it and say they are trying different things and the clubs perogative! Seriously though, when you have less than average horses running 1.53 it gives a false indication of a horses ability! You have got maidens going mile rate times well under what open class horses are running it becomes a farce really! Akuta went slightly under Celtic Spirits time today so does that mean Akuta is not much or is Celtic spirit nearly as good as Akuta? Is there really a need to give black print to less than average horses, and to be fair some of the winners today over the mile will struggle to win another race unless it is in the North Island!!

    Kango??

Every now and then there probably is value in Group races, however I never look for value in the tighter assessed races. Prefer to sort out the horses worth investing on in loose class racing, just the way I operate and has worked for me. Personally not bothering much at the moment for several reasons lol.

Happy New Year Booby. Not sure I mentioned anything about the trotters? The trotting races are normally better than the tightly assessed pacers. They are also not very good races to bet into however unless you want the shorties.

    Kango??

Gamma, Brodie incorrect? Maybe boring is not the right word then! The tighter class horse no.s are well down on what they were a decade or two ago. Many good horses are sold off oversees as it generally not profitable to race them as the no.of races for their like are more limited. You only have to look at the size of the fields at borh Auckland and Addington at most times of the year. Addington tighter class races and I am not talking Cup Class necessarily, often have 6 or 7 starters and on,y get off the ground because of-the Dunn and Allstars stables providing all the starters. Auckland racing has become a yawn fest and has been for several seasons. Betting turnover is well down on the Auckland races and how they are able to put up the stake money at the levels they are currently at is hard to fathom. Guerin says get behind them as they will survive! Total incompetency has brought the once financial club to its knees, and owners, trainers and punters are deserting it. Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone and hopefully it will be mkre enjoyable than the last couple, although you wouldnt want to hold your breath. A totally out of her depth Communist Dictator at the helm and the Tubby Assistant have only one goal in mind!

    Kango??

You are correct, the standard of the open class horses are well down on years ago. Personally don’t enjoy the tighter class horse races as they are pretty boring most of the time. It is only enthusiasts that don’t bet like the clown that uses the Bob Cameron open class horse non de plume from the Darkside that get off on open class horses. Wonder what the TAB turnover is like this year when they are stopping the intelligent ones from betting with them?
  7. Hopefully Reefton club track manager is a reader of BOAY! In this day and age where we can all be locked up, surely there is a far better way of doing things?
  8. There are bad drives in every race, and we see them mote when we have supported them! There were many less than average drives on the first day at Westport yesterday! Wont bother naming them but if you watch the replays they stand out like dogs! I reckon some of the drivers do not bother putting their horse into the race as they knkw there are 2 other days to go on the circuit and dont want to push them too hard in the first! It is a problem but at tne end of the day we should be aware of this! Probably be a pretty testing track for the second day tomorrow!
  9. Doomed, we had many weeks last year when we had no race meetings in NZ! We are all Doomed!!
  10. Thing is though Chief to be fair, racing is suffering due to the what is happening! I always post with some relevance to harness racing! It is healthy to discuss what is going on, a major part of the problems we currently have is because of the ignorance of people as to what is happening and the acceptance of people to believe in the BS coming from the media that is under the control of the Govt.
  11. Its ok, the Australian Greens what to ban racing in Australia!! God help Australia and NZ both if the losers that represent the Greens ever get into any sort of power again! What has the world become with all these WOKE Lefties in charge? Worst lot of power crazy losers the world has ever had in power! Seriously, wake up NZ Citizens, educate yourselves as to what rot is setting in!
  12. The Omicron variant is not even a bad cold! No one knows they even have it! Dickheads queue up for hours to have a large object rsmmed up their noses!!!!! If they were crook they certainly wouldn’t be queuing up for hours in a car FFS! It is total lunacy and the media is feeding it!! Brad The Dickehead Hazzard, the NSW health minister is saying that everyone over there will get the Omicron Covid19 virus!! So what is the damn point of continuing to inject everyone from 0 to 100 years of age with toxins?? Why, because it has nothing to do with peoples health!!!!
  13. It is the shiftiness of the grass moving on the gravel surely that makes them gallop? Paint the gravel green would be far better. Just lunacy what they have!
  14. I think they just chuck grass over the top of the gravel! If this is what they do then no wonder it is shifty! Surely these tracks like Reefton and Westport and Gore that have very few race meetings can get rid of the gravel and replace with compacted soil and heavy readylawn prior to a racemeeting? It can not be that difficult??
  15. Cos if the deadly Omicron variant becomes rampant and we have many deaths, then the $900k race wont be run Chief!
  16. Have watched several races from both Westport yesterday and Gore today on the grass tracks! Both the crossings were absolutely diabolical with many horses galloping as soon as they hit them! Is this really fair on the punter, owners and trainers? Surely it can not be that difficult to sort this out so that the surface is not shifty???? Just shouldnt be happening!
  17. I see that the Phoenix soccer game against the Central Coast Mariners has been called off due to many Covid positives within the CCM team. They are all double poisoned!! This Pfizer socalled vaccine is the biggest scam in human history and anyone that can not see this by now are seriously lacking in the intelligence department! They now want you to get the effing Booster into you as it will give you more protection lol. FFS the first death in NSW from this Omicron is a man in his late 80’s with many underlying health conditions!!!! Geez we all need to be very scared! The Pandemic is the pathetic governments and the evil media with their every bit of BS! Wake up you Sheep!! I know many people now affected by the toxic injections!
  18. What does FCS stand for?
  19. It would be great to get harness racing back to where it used to be, enjoyable for punters and owners and profitable for trainers! It is good that they are going to try different things and they did do some brainstorming a few months ago, so that is good. What becomes of all that is going to be interesting, for me personally the gloss and interest has waned! I watch races on Trackside as they do not allow the unpoisoned ones oncourse. The thing is though that I dont know a single person who has tested positive to the very mild Covid19 and are still alive. Many other people I know have had the 2 jabs of toxins into protect themselves and they know no one that has tested positive either. Now that you thought that you did the right thing and became fully vaxxed, the news for you is that you are now NOT FULLY VAXXED! Why are you now not fully vaxxed? Because the 2 jabs of Pfizer as BRODIE has been advising you for a year is NOT A VACCINE and just doesnt work in a positive way! So 2 doses of Pfizer that doesnt work against Delta, and they also say that 2 doses doesnt offer you any protection against this new very catchy variant Omicron!!!! BUT BUT BUT if you get a BOOSTER shot into you it will give you protection against OMICRON Lol lol lol!!! But yes most of the DICKHEADS that listen to the Commie willl rush out and get the BOOSTER poison into them! You couldnt make this shit up! Merry Xmas to all.
  20. It is pure and simple a marketing event for harness. If it gets off the ground will be interesting! It isnt going to actually do anything for racing if you look at it subjectly So you pay a massive amount of money to start in a race at Cambridge and you have the opportunity to win a substantial amount of money but also the opportunity to lose a lot lf money kf you are an owner! Will be interesting to see just how many owners are prepared to cough up and race against the AllStars horses! Yes good to see HRNZ trying new stuff for harness racing, but it wont bring in new owners or attract nee punters which is what it needs! Why you would run the event at Cambridge is questionable as well?
  21. I meant the AllWeather track and not the grass track! Lol
  22. Gamma, Rangiora is probably as quick as what Addington is but generally the horses that race at Rangiora aren’t quite as good. I also can not understand why some trainers seem to want to nkt race at Addington. Motukarara always has full fields, and I am not a trainer, but it always seems a lot harder on a horse racing on grass than an all weather track.
  23. Not guilty Chief. Dont need to put money into it, Dont bother much nowadays on account as just not worth the effort! Would be good for Xmas if the Bookies got rid of the restrictions, sl that the loyal supporters of the NZ TAB could have a fair go. Especially as some have not been double poisoned! Just as well they have so many with double jabs in their bodies as it is totally proven that it stops transmission lol lol lol Watch the No.s of positive escalate!!
  24. Wouldve been Mapua nudist camp! Just dont think the weather is quite good enough to portray myself at best! Also, no where to keep a VACCINE PASSPORT!!!! Keep safe Ranga, we have the very contagious Omicron now, so it is very dangerous out there!!!!
  25. Not looking great for the Nelson races in January now does it? The 2 doses of Pfizer fizzer is exactly that, an Absolute fizzer!! Once again Brodie on the money as it just does not work and has heaps of side effects! NSW double jabbed are spreading it to other double jabbed, who wouldve thought? It doesnt work against Delta, Omicron or any other variant they want to chuck at you! The no.s are going to sky rocket now that Dorklanders have been let out of the cage and you wouldnt want to be betting against the evil one locking you down again! I reiterate you have been conned!
