No point, everyone knows most people’s opinion on the subject! Reality is that there is only a few that actually enjoy The AllStars stable plundering all the major stakes and the same owners buying up and winning! The majority of enthusiasts are totally over it and it is costing the industry bigtime, and is very detrimental! Fortunately it doesn’t affect me financially it is the the putrid BS that you here before and after races that they are in!

Basil, it is great that The All Stars are winning the money off the Ozzie’s, long may it continue! While they are over there they are not plundering the stakes here! We all know that they are champions at training and doing things that no other trainer is doing! Do I beleive that the Ozzie’s are not concerned that their big races are being won by a NZ trainer? No I don’t and I also don’t beleive that they will allow it to happen continually as we all know that the Ozzie’s hate giving money away to Kiwis!!

If punters follow Trackside presenters and commentators tipscthat win , then that is great. Personaly prefer to sort my own out, as that is more fun and rewarding I would’ve thought? Funny listening to some of the Trackside tipsters, like Dave MacDonald, as he just about tips the whole damn field, and you would go broke backing them all!

The 2 worst cases were in the NZ Cup by reinswomen and they get fined! Murray Howard a very part time driver and good horseman gets hammered in a maiden race with a poorish stake and gets fined $500. Rasmussen and Manning I think got $1000 in a several thousand dollar group 1 race? Pathetic ill thought out rule, got to go, end of storey!

Not sure what you are saying JJ? Didnt blame Stable for 2 nominations at all! Did you have a reason?

Why did you mention Purdon JJ? Did you have some thoughts as to why there are not 2 year olds ready to line up?

What is going on with harness racing at the moment when it comes to 2 year old racing? $10k race at Addington over 1980m for 2 year old male pacers has 2 nominations, that is right 2, Not one hundred per cent sure of the reason but most enthusiasts will have a pretty good idea as to why! Will be interesting to see if there are many more noms and the race takes place!

Natalie Rasmussen is one of the worst offenders when it comes to overuse of the whip! Next time she should get a 6 month suspension for not seeing the error of her ways!

I note that Murray Howard driving the horse he trains was yesterday hammered with a $500 fine! He was fine for using his whip outside the whip regulation rule which I note they have once again renamed the offence!!!! Murray drives very infrequently and was heavily fined $500 for driving his horse to win! Gow dare he want to win a race by driving his horse out? If you watch the replay of race 5 At Waikouaiti Club that raced at Oamaru, it does not appear to have been an overly aggressive whip action from Murray Howard but yes over the last 400metres would’ve been more than 10. However, Murray did not whip the horse continuously at all, there was a long pause halfway up,the straight and then again when he felt he had a chance to actually win! What the eff was he meant to do, just sit there without using the whip? Yes the normal anti whip conglomerate will come on and say that he broke the rule! The reality is that most know that the rule is blatantly stupid and needs to go!!! Murray Howard, a very infrequent Driver has had a major part of his weekly income taken off him by HRNZ for trying to win a race and where he was overly vigorous on his own horse!!!!! Ridiculous HRNZ, Change the rule as you know you stuffed up majorly when you rushed it through without a great lot of thought or support!!!

Not sure where you get that I am sitting on the fence? What I am saying ismthat by raising hourly rates it is just not the lowest paid that will get a pay rise. I wouldn’t like to be an employer of a small business that needs to employ staff as their wages bill is going to increase substantially. The reality is that many business owners actually make a lot less than their employees do! Why would you bother owning a business when you can earn more being an employee and not have the hassles? Now this so-called government want to take even more off the business by way of CGT!!!

Newmarket, understand that people do need to be able to afford to buy things if they are working. Problem is that by raising the lower hourly rate, becomes a problem when the people who are on more than the minimum also want a pay rise as they think they are worth more than the minimum ones. This in turn forces prices up and makes many business’s not profitable, therefore many will fold, therefore more unemployed!!! Yes Jacinda is young and smiles like a laughing hyena, but that only goes so far and things will change as to the governments popularity as nothing they have campaigned on happens!

Newmarket, they ran the country successfully and NZ was the envy of most countries in the world, then clowns voted this mish mash of nillers in thru MMP! CGT will not be in! No way that they will get back into government if one is brought in on property, shares, KiwiSaver etc. Affects everyone who works and anyone with half a brain can work out that this socialist bunch are an absolute nightmare that has no idea of being able to run a country.

Landlords pay tax on their rental income surplus just like any business. If they sell a property and makes money then they normally reinvest in another property. The fact this this loser government wants to hammer landlords in this country is going to come back to bite them. The coalition government has not got anyone with any business success whatsoever and it clearly shows. They are going to be booted out big time next election as they are totally incompetent. As for CGT it is a dead duck, just like their KiwiBuild!
