The thing with people getting suspended or banned from posting from that so-called premier site, was the totally obnoxious and arrogant way that Scoobs behaved.
I tried to discuss things with him but his PR is just crap and kept acting without thought for the viability of his site.
If he was relying on his disciple FART TOO MUCH to bail him out, then he was sadly deluded.
I actually like to look to see if it has any new posters apart from a Farty!
Scoob and Farty are doing a great job of keeping the premier racing community site going!
Not too sure what the word premier means nowadays though?
To be fair though, Scoob has brought it all on himself by letting dickwhackers dictate and be allowed to abuse the intelligent posters who are now on BOAY!
The so-called Premier Racing Community are pretty quiet at the moment!
Not a lot of intellect left over there, so they will need to bring some new blood thru or they will not be a Racing Community much more!
Fair enough , but does that mean that the programming was wrong?
I can’t see how any club can be a winner when a race on,y has 5 starters, and yes I know it happens at Addington as well in Winter.
There is a shortage of horses in slightly higher classes say r60 plus because when they keep dropping ratings there are a lot in the 50’s
To be fair though, a lot of ex AllStar horses that leave the stable do race pretty well, as they have had a lot of therapeutic treatments and pampering and will feel pretty good!
I note that Alexy has its 211th start tonight in the claimer at Forbury.
Currently trained by Denis O’Connell and has been with him Off and on as well as Bruce Negus!
211 is a helluva lot of starts for any horse in NZ to remain sound and still race reasonably well.
If he was in Oz he probably would’ve had at least 300starts.
That trotter that started with Phil Williamson and then Greg Hope and the Milina’s had heaps but not sure how many it had!
Does anyone know if this would be a record no. of starts for a horse racing in NZ??
Auckland Harness is stuffed at the moment.
Last race tonight rating up to 62 racing for 14,500 and there are a full field of 5 horses!!!!
So it is not the stake money that is the problem clearly!
Stakes are good to what they used to race for but I beleive that there are bugger all new owners prepared to shell out big money to breed or buy and take the risk of hoping that their horse has enough ability to pay its way.
Personally wouldn’t take the risk either as there are far better ways of making money that is guaranteed than owning horses.
Sorry, Hesi, wouldn’t say dear to any of us!
The childish digs at a few gets extremely tedious and not sure of his shoe size, but it would be pretty close to his maturity age!
Wish they would just just suck it up and stop commenting about posters that have gone to this better forum.
I agree, there is similar commenting styles which tends to suggest that the other has been site has not got the no. Of posters that they think it still has!
Onwards and upwards for Bit Of A Yarn!
Portfolio, horses that go to the beach do seem to improve their attitude and it does freshen them up, as I am sure horses get sick and tired of going around and around small tracks.
Beach work is on sand obviously and easier on their legs and straight training rather than bends.
We are still waiting to hear what harness trainers are doing this therapeutic blood treatment.
You would think that trainers would be voluntarily coming out and telling us seem it is only therapeutic and all the horses are needing it!!!
Brilliant, and Fart Too Much has the gall to start a blog on that other site telling their small number of posters that Bit Of A Yarn members were looking at The other site and should keep out!
Unbelievable hypocrisy!
Would be very interesting to see what other harness stables have all their horses requiring therapeutic treatment?
It is legal so you would think that to promote the product then the directors would advertise who uses this blood treatment so that more people would have the treatment and therefore make money??????
