Brodie still on the money as per usual. Headline in the NZ herald today states that Mr Bill Gates says that there are going to be far worse Pandemics coming than Covid19!!! He would know as he is behind Covid19 and he can launch any virus he wants at any time so he has just given his warning! He is the biggest shareholder in the vaccine companies, biggest shareholder in the media so you aren’t getting any of the true facts. So many of you are just so blind as to what is going on! Approx.2011Mr Bill Gates stated that he wanted to reduce Carbon Emissions to Zero and how was he wanting to do this???? He was going to depopulate the world!!! How was he going to do this? He stated by CONTROLLED VACCINATION!!!!! Put your brains into gear and wake up to what they are doing to you!!! The so called vaccinations that you are allowing to be injected into your body is stuffing your immunity by every jab, but then you will continue to let them do this as you are just blinded by the BS that comes thru the govt.media BS! Anyway if you are stupid enough to believe that it is helping you then you are just stupid. They told you to do the RIGHT THING and get 2 doses in! CEO of Pfizer says it doesnt work on Omicron and the Booster does buggerall as well, but yet you let them put it in . Go on keep getting it in every 3 months and lets see what state of health you are in in a couple of years! Yes this is meant to be a racing forum but if you believe racing is more important at this stage of your life then you obviously arent too worried about your future health.
-
You only have to look at the betting pools for the tote to see that there is no way that these meetings at Alexandra Park are covering costs! Pathetic pool sizes, pathetic low no. Of starters and there will be bugger all there to watch the boring racing! How on earth can they compete against Addington racing? RIP Auckland harness as you will never dig yourself out of the almighty hole you are in! Michael Guerin will no doubt say it is being negative and of course it is but what this country needs is more truth and no more of the BS that we get everyday from his fellow so called media tribe!
-
All of them! Nz sheep need to grow some and protest like never before and show the Commie that we aint taking her communist ideaologies anymore. If you still believe it is all about protecting NZ citizens then you will probably believe in the tooth fairy! A Commie And her assistants totally out of their depth in everything they touch!,
-
Lol never heard it called the Bridge! I could probably give you plenty of winners now Ranga! Not bothering with them too much at the moment, had a reasonable Xmas but still do not like being treated unfairly.
-
Acquaman, reality is that so many people in NZ are very weak in the head by believing the BS that is going on! Pandemic my arse! Ardern the controller will continue to stuff peoples lives and if business continue to accept what she says then they deserve to go broke. The fact is that the Pfizer claytons vaccine is a fizzer, never has worked and will never work. What the true facts are is that the ones who are stupid enough to believe it works are the ones who are being infected with the mild virus and are the ones transmitting it. You only need to see what has happened in Oz. I personally know many people now who have had serious side effects from taking the toxins in and will get worse with the BOOSTERS shit. CEO of Pfizer says that 2 doses does nothing against Omicron and the Booster gives very limited protection and yet Dickheads rush out to get the 3rd dose of the shit, because it is free, and Ardern says to FFS! Anyway bet the popcorn in and watch the Sheep perform. As for racing, the Administrators are too weak to speak up or even look at the facts!!!!
-
Might as well close the tracks down then and turn into residential housing! “The Bridge”? What are you on about?
-
So Blenheim wont have winter meetings? So yeah, what is the point of the all weather track if they aint racing on it?
-
Just horrible punting fields, not worth the effort as the Bookies Odds will be pathetic with the small no.s! Auckland can not attract enough horses at almost all their meetings to make it worthwhile! With owners, trainers, drivers and punters abandoning the Auckland area, they are certainly DOOMED!!
-
They dont have harness on the Washdyke grass track, not sure they ever raced on the grass at Timaru? They used to race on the Waterlea all weather in January after the Nelson 2 day meeting. Someone a few years ago decided to race on the grass at Blenheim for a bit of a change, but they do race on the allweather in June Winter meets!
-
More $ in renting out the boxes and track to others! If David And Catherine had been serious over the last decade then they wouldve been in the top 5 trainers in the country for wins without doubt!
-
Extremely talented horseman is Davey Butt and I am sure he was successful due to Catherine keeping things going as well. At the end of the day, training horses is a very hard way of making money, as it is a labour of love really! All the best to both of them in the future, well deserved semi retirement.

Can I politely ask why citizens of NZ that have made an educated decision not to have 2 jabs of a toxic substance injected into their bodies, are also not allowed oncourse?
-
Can not have any sort of holiday at the moment! It isn’t the fact that the horse went out for a spell for 3 months but has not had a race in 3 months! They may well have not been out for a spell, it could’ve been in work but not working well enough to actually race! So the question needs to be asked why do they bother showing the fact that a horse has not actually raced for 3 months?
-
I note that Sundons Flyer is having its 75th start today since it had had a 3 month spell from racing ! this does seem a helluva lot of starts to be in work for without a reasonable spell! Would this be a record for a horse actually racing or is there others that would have even more. Bearing in mind Sundons Flyer has also travelled so much as well. Must have a very good constitution but also maybe needs a well deserved matrons paddock?
-
I must’ve missed it in the news and it is probably been advertised! I notice that Ashburton tomorrow has a couple of races that are for horses that are graded as low as 35!!!! Since when have we ever had horses graded lower than 40??????? Is this a new thing fkr horses to keep dropping below 40 for this new season?? Seriously if a horse was down to as low as 35, you would think the owners should consider whether they had a horse worth paying training fees for?

Once again Nelson has run a meeting with predominantly mile races! Yes it gives a bit of variety from our 2000metre plus racing but it is not a great spectacle or an attractive punting medium! Yes there will be some that enjoy it and say they are trying different things and the clubs perogative! Seriously though, when you have less than average horses running 1.53 it gives a false indication of a horses ability! You have got maidens going mile rate times well under what open class horses are running it becomes a farce really! Akuta went slightly under Celtic Spirits time today so does that mean Akuta is not much or is Celtic spirit nearly as good as Akuta? Is there really a need to give black print to less than average horses, and to be fair some of the winners today over the mile will struggle to win another race unless it is in the North Island!!
-
Every now and then there probably is value in Group races, however I never look for value in the tighter assessed races. Prefer to sort out the horses worth investing on in loose class racing, just the way I operate and has worked for me. Personally not bothering much at the moment for several reasons lol.
-
Happy New Year Booby. Not sure I mentioned anything about the trotters? The trotting races are normally better than the tightly assessed pacers. They are also not very good races to bet into however unless you want the shorties.
-
Gamma, Brodie incorrect? Maybe boring is not the right word then! The tighter class horse no.s are well down on what they were a decade or two ago. Many good horses are sold off oversees as it generally not profitable to race them as the no.of races for their like are more limited. You only have to look at the size of the fields at borh Auckland and Addington at most times of the year. Addington tighter class races and I am not talking Cup Class necessarily, often have 6 or 7 starters and on,y get off the ground because of-the Dunn and Allstars stables providing all the starters. Auckland racing has become a yawn fest and has been for several seasons. Betting turnover is well down on the Auckland races and how they are able to put up the stake money at the levels they are currently at is hard to fathom. Guerin says get behind them as they will survive! Total incompetency has brought the once financial club to its knees, and owners, trainers and punters are deserting it. Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone and hopefully it will be mkre enjoyable than the last couple, although you wouldnt want to hold your breath. A totally out of her depth Communist Dictator at the helm and the Tubby Assistant have only one goal in mind!
-
You are correct, the standard of the open class horses are well down on years ago. Personally don’t enjoy the tighter class horse races as they are pretty boring most of the time. It is only enthusiasts that don’t bet like the clown that uses the Bob Cameron open class horse non de plume from the Darkside that get off on open class horses. Wonder what the TAB turnover is like this year when they are stopping the intelligent ones from betting with them?

The harness crossings just don’t get any better!!!

Hopefully Reefton club track manager is a reader of BOAY! In this day and age where we can all be locked up, surely there is a far better way of doing things? -
There are bad drives in every race, and we see them mote when we have supported them! There were many less than average drives on the first day at Westport yesterday! Wont bother naming them but if you watch the replays they stand out like dogs! I reckon some of the drivers do not bother putting their horse into the race as they knkw there are 2 other days to go on the circuit and dont want to push them too hard in the first! It is a problem but at tne end of the day we should be aware of this! Probably be a pretty testing track for the second day tomorrow!
-
Doomed, we had many weeks last year when we had no race meetings in NZ! We are all Doomed!!

Thing is though Chief to be fair, racing is suffering due to the what is happening! I always post with some relevance to harness racing! It is healthy to discuss what is going on, a major part of the problems we currently have is because of the ignorance of people as to what is happening and the acceptance of people to believe in the BS coming from the media that is under the control of the Govt. -

Its ok, the Australian Greens what to ban racing in Australia!! God help Australia and NZ both if the losers that represent the Greens ever get into any sort of power again! What has the world become with all these WOKE Lefties in charge? Worst lot of power crazy losers the world has ever had in power! Seriously, wake up NZ Citizens, educate yourselves as to what rot is setting in!
