  1. I can't verify this but a reliable source in my industry , in contact with a head tech guy within the TAB said it looks like a 30 to 35 % loss of revenue or turnover since the app was instigated. Death knell I would have thought.
  2. Regardless of the quality of those horses he ran againsted, 1.53.7 on yr ear with a slight tap to gap them at the top of the straight augers well for some interesting races to come. Beautiful to watch.
  3. Valloria is more than capable. It took Majestic Man all he had to run it down in the last of his six wins. It didn't surprise me to see it at the head of that field at the end. Will make the Jewels all the more interesting, although Kings Landing was not happy at all, so I hope ( not) they sort him out in time . Belle of Montana went huge, good horse this one, franked it's previous form nicely.
  4. I think the TAB should be running a book on how far in lengths the horse is going to win by. 1- 4 lgth 5-1 4-8 lght. 3-1 Etc. A no brainer watching poetry in motion.
  5. Damn, thought it was Cracker Red, stop the train I want to get off. Postscript: shoulda gone to specsavers
  6. Forbury could be called the "Ribbon of Plight".
  7. No apology needed Neil. Just my opinion formed from watching horses run from the late sixtys. And certainly not expecting to win everything. See you at the Jewels .
  8. Don't get me wrong Booby. He has showen his true potential by coming from seemingly hopeless positions to smoke home for placings in Group ones. It's the hopeless positions I am alluding to. We are in for a great ride with this fella, and no , the sheer pleasure is there despite my protestations .One is allowed an opinion . Cheers
  9. Fair comment , but he thought the two in front of him wouldn't hand up so probably thought the horse gets a cosy trip 3 back all the way .Really?, over 3200 without anyone coming around to get handy or try for the lead, dont think so.! Did the driver of Sundees Son or the others think they wouldnt hand up, if so why did they tear around for the lead. We are little if inferior as he has shown to anything in that race, so going into the second turn he had a chance to get out and breeze or have a go for the lead himself. Lacking confidence in yr horses ability to lead or breeze for a while (considering past performances)and going on hearsay from other drivers to stick to their game plan doesn't win group ones. Patience isn't one of my virtues Robert. And if anyone thinks this is sour grapes, forget it , as I got into this for sheer pleasure only. While it is great to see what a good horse he is fashioning into ,somethings rankle. Last night did.
  10. Thanks , it will make the Jewels race a real cracker now that the real Sundees Son has turned up. Add in Kings Landing, Winterfell and company, it is shaping up to be one of the best on the day.
  11. Becoming rather frustrating with Brad always ending up on the pegs with MM. There was a chance to keep him out into the death early on and wait for them to go around which over 3200 was always going to happen . Hmmmm. Sundees Son has really hit his straps, no sign of losing his gait. Great little horse.
  12. Purely speculative that one. Winterfell if you have followed it since it began looks to have found its mark. Our horse , and leave out the bias , has progressed further and is still on the up , and beat Winterfell easily . According to Joe, Kings Landing is the next Monbet, but he wont be remembered for his 4 yr old season , unless of course he manages to pull off a Jewels win. No doubt a blind eye to BS will help in that respect.
  13. Any vacancy's at yr work ???
  14. Its not much different to the old way of removing blood . Remove the blood and the body builds it back up again, inject the original back in and we now have more oxygenated blood pumped around the system. What does that mean? , more stamina, less loss of oxygen. Horses ability to run further without feeling so tired is elevated. They have polished a turd, but its still a turd and are getting away with it as Enteebee alluded to.
  15. Yeah, in all honesty they spoilt a good arse when they stuck teeth in his.
  16. Caniption. ? he can have it whilst watching him running in the States. Is there medication for that............?
  17. Well if the Pacers are stuffed (aka Brodie) then come on guys get into the Square gaiters. We are always looking for more syndicate members and expanding the barn with the Premier trotting family . Email me privately and I will send you all the details . Eh Entebee, and Mark.
  18. I shall take the last statement into consideration as our horse starts in the Rowe Cup as one of the favourites.. On second thought , nah. Eat yah heart out Brodie. Nya, nya, nya.?
  19. Robert how could you !!!!.
  20. Just watched it. Kinda gives one goosebumps. Wow.
  21. The real deal, this horse. Are you watching Joe. Terrible drive unfortunately.
  22. Weren't you the one who didn't turn up at the Jewels in Cambridge.?
