Leave my horse alone?. He will get better, got lots of upside and still lightly raced.
-
The biggest stat is the % of NZ breds running in all those races. They are listed for all the group races and it is astonishing reading. Wether or not we have been more proactive in our selection of blood lines compared to Australia , it's a telling indictment to the Australian breeding industry. We have a healthy breeding and as some will acknowledge because of one particular practitioner also an exporting business here in NZ as well. Read into that what you will.

Horses that old?. They used to race that old when I started following Harness in the 60, s. Remember Easton Light as one example. 13 and extremely competitive in the top grade ,and there has been others. Unfortunately age and ability are seperate issues. This horse doesnt have the latter.

This isn't the first time for Northern visitors. Not so long ago a family of British tourists went around the country getting people agitated wherever they went, not paying for their food and getting other people to clean up after them. But just because they were called the Duke and Duchess of Sussex nobody said a word.!!.

He asked a question, answer it in a dignified way Thomas.

Right, but you have to pick the right day. Today wasn't it after a promising run before. He goes into the " portfolio". I also had Dana Dawn marked down, nice second.

Trentham revisited, except it was better as The Kaik finished last. Wasn't that good at Trentham.?
-
Sticking with The Kaik. Unlucky, and finished on last race for 5th.Has won twice and placed on the grass, bobs up at times and I think a live chance at good odds. After getting an absolute hiding in PJ,s comp at Trentham , Im a bit gun shy so one tomorrow is enough.
-
Really ????. You got me bluffed Hesi.
-
Hey if anyone is interested. I have a mate who owns Casaquinman running in the Telegraph at Trentham tomorrow. Now don't laugh ,at 126 ff and 17 on the tote it's worth a couple of bucks. This horse has amazing sectionals at the end of his winning runs, and he is way down in weights and the likely hood of good footing. I know its not Harness, just saying.
-
If they lose that will bring you back down to earth then. ?
-
Try, The Kaik, Race 6. Back to mobile and looking likely the last few runs. 10s FF, Good luck .
-
Navels, you eeeejitt.
-
Maybe you should change the name, or more to the point( excuse the pun), we should get our minds back above our bagels.?

This Australian junior lawyer after syphoning off 10.65 Million NZ from his firms client then proceeded to gamble with TAB and Sportsbet to the tune of 100 million over 3yrs. Included in that was a A1.5 million bet on an NRL game, a 1 million bet on a provincial rugby game and 1.2 Million on two American football games. It got me thinking. ( note the first name),how is it he wasn't restrictedwith this amount of money( he obviously won sometimes) and yet our own Brodie has had restrictions placed on him. I deduce from this that our Brodie has a shit load more money than this dude had. Therefore Brods I nominate you to finance our first year Xmas party on BOAY.?

It seems to be growing if one takes notice of the new names popping up, albeit probably some who have left RC and assumed a different moniker. Alive and well here.

30 HOURS TO THE BIGGEST COCK UP BY TAB

799 now. -
But not always achievable. So Joe punter has to factor that into the equation as well, not an easy task. My son in law has trained gallops for a long time. After watching him over a period of time I decided very quickly to stay away from punting on the TB,s, and stay with my beloved Harness. Your last statement "its only a rort if you,re not in on it" rings very true.

Thanks Paul. No havent been taking much notice. Might have a look at the replay though. Monty looks to me a tired horse after his last run, and Santa needs a rest as well. Not a great fan of Chris's Alfords driving these days , so was nice to see Ants up on board. Same result but. On a brighter note Majestic Man is showing us his true ability, look out AS barn come Jewels day. You want to accompany me along to Adders on the day Paul, should be able to get some tickets.?

Still looking for the best option for an overseas outlet. Handed my money over the counter today.lol. Any advice would be welcome from those in the know.

30 HOURS TO THE BIGGEST COCK UP BY TAB
globederby12 replied to TIME FOR CHANGE's topic in Galloping Chat
I have posted this before but there is a way of accessing the NZ TAB from Australia. My son in Perth did it for me, and I'm sure Harewood on this site may have managed to do it as well. It was to technical for me but it can be done. -
Shouda won its last two. Was on it when it got nosed out two starts ago. Nice little horse. For me only two after browsing the fields. R5 Rozzano. R9 Spot On
-
Kinda reminds me when Tiger Woods dominated golf. They started tinkering with longer golf courses as he hit it to far, changing balls ,etc just to slow him down. Does AS dominance mean we will have to change the rules( a maximum no of horses from one barn per race)or racecourse(ie no passing lane)layouts. Etc Im with Joe on admiring and respecting what they do, however Empires do come to an end eventually. Hopefully there will be something left to resurrect when it happens

Another sweeping generalization, without any real data to back it up. Geeze you are full of it tonight. I dont know why we bother. Not thinking of going back to Racecafe at all .?Just asking..

We would welcome you aboard our syndicates (Seafield and Griffins) racing out of the Williamson Barn, Joe. Square gaiters are the place to be, and have tasted group success, and have some lovely youngsters waiting to race .Couple that with our other stock presently racing its exciting times. And the AS barn dont worry us, despite Brodies protestations and sweeping generalizations.
