Geez Brodie.....nothings changed. I did see the race....and after early burn I was expecting it to fade....but kept going strongly. Stablemate let it ride might also make trip over.Class horse....

Without these sort of days, owners would sell their good horses which would end up overseas.....our fields would be far worse than they are now. So what....mile racing not for everyone......a few horses won some bloody good money with good draws etc, but I don't see that being bad. We should be congratulating purdon team....not constantly putting them down.

Can see Elle Mac getting to front, with stablemate in trail, so thought it a chance of winning. Thought Izmok + BD Khaosan worth including in tri in race 5 , with the 2 favs to win, a couple of others for placings too. I see box seat crew thought your horse could get to front early....not so sure myself....those drawn inside have a bit of early speed. Very interesting race, think you have good chance for top 4 finish....good luck

As I have said previously, you only need to look around the world at all sports, horse racing etc, to see what people will do to get away with things... Armstrong prime example, look how long he got away with it.....we have had heaps of positives in all 3 codes....yes, maybe a few are honest mistakes.....but the majority make you wonder. As many have said before....tougher fines would tighten up the industry, rather that a slap on the wrist....then easily transfer horses to a friend etc...its a complete joke. That's why people will still push the bounderies...its worth the risk. One reason why nz racing turnover is declining....this shit would be sorted in AU's.
