Recorded on a computer; The number of registrations are known and the number of ballots mailed out is known; The mail-in ballots are filled out and mailed back; They are received by the USPS and recorded; They are then sent to the counting locations. SO A: You know how many were requested and mailed out. B: You know how many came back to the USPS. Subtract B from A and you know how many possible votes are still to arrive at USPS. C you send the votes to the counting place. C should equal B. It appears it doesn't hence the 150,000 estimate. Rubbish In some States B was not known until later due to the lag in time between them being posted and arrival One State had a cutoff point of today at 5pm for mail with a date stamp (to use old layman’s terms) on it didn’t they?
