The greatest problem in young people is they want everything NOW, rather than work towards it over a period of time like the previous generation. New car at 20 ?? unheard of in our day, but commonplace now. 

The new generation certainly have new thoughts on things. The old boys (like $bill ) there posting, are very bitter it seems . Not much good on a thread Karrots , as just a political comment so give it the flick. not very constructive.

My friend is lawyer in Queesland, however she been practicing for a few years.  But does alot of inter state matters.

Of course Gospel my mate, a student, whom we agree on some things and not on others. 

The younger generations are the FUTURE. Like it or lump it, its a FACT.

Gospel is in his mid 30's  and a millennial. Still feels very young! around these places.

I'm still waiting for Jesus to turn up. 😄

As you know we are mates that go back quite a few years now. While we don't always completely agree on subjects, most of the time our views mesh together quite well.

With that & just as a precaution, I decided to go ahead & take a Covid swab of your first post in this thread.

The results of that swab have now been returned & it appears that you have little to worry about!

 

So don't be afraid to get out there & spread your legs as Hipkins has suggested.

I just tell them I'm Catholic - they seem to bolt fairly fast once I say that.

Rang talkback this morning Charles, the idiot host, John somebody thought we should all be in lock up for 4 weeks and just be done with it, needless to say by the time I finished I was described as a radical. I'm out everyday exercising one hour walking muzzle free. I look forward to catching the China virus, it holds no fear to me. In fact I told the idiot host on the radio that if he new anyone with the virus to send them to me as I want to catch it. Seriously though there is method to my madness. I have been in training now for some time, reinforcing my immune system, in fact these last two days soaking up sun loading up on vit D. Also I would rather fight it on my terms, ie in the summer. I say bring it on, no dodgy experimental de population drug for me, I will stick to God given natural immunity anyday.

Don't think we'll know for a few years. Latest confirmed data is 2017 I think because it can take the coronial inquiries 2-3 years to be completed. Anecdotal reports of increase in suicidality last year.

Provisional figures (per 100,00) for the year through June 2020 were well down on the previous 2 years.

One day last week, Lifeline had 1500 calls, mostly from young people. Thats the tragedy of this, the stupidity of so called adults is impacting on the mental fragility of the young.....FFS!

LifelineNZ reported a 25% increase in calls and texts during lockdown last year though they said those were mainly concerns about the impact on relationships and anxiety about money and accommodation as well as increased calls related to self-harm.
