    The real issue however is that if it doesn't go well , nothing and I mean nothing will be done about it apart from some BS fob off report, that's why the industry has absolutely no hope of progression, there is no accountability for failure it's just an indicator of Business as Usual in nz racing.

    I'd have thought the question of the week is why do we have 2 x 3yo races (Colts & Fillies) for $40k at Taupo on Wednesday ? One has 5 starters & the other 7 starters. Surely these fields could have been combined ?

    In my experience there certainly has been plenty in the past, true given the state of it all that may not be the case this season.

    Because it doesn't take a week to make a jumper, probably a number of these horses will have a trial in preparation for the seasons to come.

    He likes sitting in traffic there and back he can but some Leonard Cohen on and really grin from ear to ear all the way there and back. What puzzles me though is being "TA biggest fanboy ever" the Chief isn't singing the praises of their favourite provincial hang out Taupo. Whats up with that CS?

    Why doesn't he just move up to the Equine Paradise and work his horses from there? Ruakaka is matched only by Tauranga for some of the most boring racing in the country.

    Not sure its anyone's real intention to breed a mudder. What's worse about the racing in winter in NZ we are seeing is the significant bias (towards outside fence) in every track.
