    Class, has always been in play re NZ Racing! It looks like 'Ownership' has moved more and more back to a area of the Dominate Owner, off a hundred years or so.! It seems to be a Player today! You first must make the $$$$ elsewhere first! Do you understand what a Sunset Industry is Greg?

    Back when the stock market was boiling and the lights for night racing were burning! it was a exciting place to be! There had been concerned about weather our camera gair/film would be fit for purpose! it just was! Lots of Press to be had in the Press Room! Which was well stocked with liquor!!! It was a pleasure to be taking photos there! a slow and steady decline since those days! sigh...

    re Slipper, often I find this is the hardest of the ozzzie G1's to work out... and on top of things a track that will not be suitable for many... a great race to be watching... ps, tiz great to see a young kiwi couple with the #1 in the race!

That's what the M Report was/is all about...

    you have me down to a t..... and it can be rather frustrating attempting to base any bet 'on looks/presentation' etc when the pictures presented don't allow you to actually see all the horses in a race!

The sensible ones understand what it means re Sunset Industry! (hence! the lack of effort historically from the Nats) others! are happy to pick up 'a dead cat', and can be heard (after throwing it down on the ground) "Did you see in bounce!!!" "There's still more life in it!"

    a small technical thing: if you want to break anyone's post into smaller bits, what you need to do is to go to the start of where you want to quote, Highlight the text you to quote, that will then give you the option to click 'quote this'...
