A cartel is a group of people with a common purpose, the Labour Party the National Party, The Greens, all, some for the greater good, some with the primary intent of gaining an edge to further their interests........business and sport are no different, riding that fine line between what's legal and what's immoral or illegal is the test. Many contributors on here have voiced their opines on the uneven playing field, the bias shown to the north, you yourself have agreed, BDL has attacked NZTR and rightly so, however, Peters got cozy to people who for reasons only known to themselves helped him gain office, grass roots are still suffering from that agenda, and how many decisions were made after the crazy flawed Messara report? If you go back through my posts you'll see I mention the 'northern cartel' in most posts, if you ask most in the CD and SI they'll agree, except for those with the same agenda, although I doubt that, it's more self preservation in CD and SI.

I'm not playing this game, one member of the cartel is notoriously litigious and has a very thin skin, lets just say it's not limited to a breeding slant, it's a cross section of our industry, and everyone with an insight on here knows who they are.....except you apparently Chief. You need to get out more, I know it's been hard in Cinderella's NZ, but the cartel far pre-dates Covid.

Jason's ride impressed a few hardy souls that watched the NZ races on the tv screens here at the MM, one wag called Kumara the Moon Valley of NZ........Valle de Luna..........the crowd was brilliant, the weather to match and Jason on that ride would ride the Valley really well......cmon over Jason, join the exodus.......

As Nomates said many moons ago, ''never going to happen''. Saundry and before him Purcell, took advantage of a huge lifeline, can you blame them for taking huge salary positions? Not many would turn those offers down, they must have done their due diligence and sussed out the stupidity and apathy awaiting them in the Land Of The Long Great Gauge....... I can't wait for Purcell to write his memoirs, and even Saundry, although his memoirs may need to be written for him, what a riveting read those paperbacks will be, there might even be a movie, Jurassic Park 2 maybe, who would play Saundry in a movie or tv series, De Vito? or the bloke who played the little fella with the catchphrase, ''look boss de plane de plane''. Who might play Purcell? Leonardo de Caprio, Hugh Jackman, we know a good choice to play Glenda, The Governess, Anne Hegerty, although I'm betting Anne might have visited far more TAB's or betting shops than big Glenda ever will. Let's run a comp guessing when and if Saundry will ever return to NZ? I also ponder if Kate Goodrich was waiting out at Tullamarine with a bouquet of flowers awaiting Bernies emergence through customs. If say, Freda, Pitman, Carter, Nomates, Curious who have all held/hold a trainers licence were to interview Saundry/George before their employment and grilled them on their 'actual' practical knowledge of our industry do you think they would have passed muster and been offered employment at the Taj? Well the bro shat in at Sandown, I think Roc Up ran well, he must go alright as he started fav, or close to it on our tote here. I love the Roc de Cambes, he didn't get the best mares, when he does he stamps them, a few over here and they all go good, but with good trainers, Rogie churns and burns, as we know. We have an unraced one here, goes really well, a filly so she's not for sale.......fingers crossed.

If that's the case Curious, it appears Petone has burned grass roots racing people, you're close to it, so I bow to your better judgement. I should have known better, the worlds just not what it once was. We only have two horses left in NZ, one we leased, she races tomorrow, was meant to be anything, her Mum had 14 foals, 12 won, hopefully she will finally put her best hoof forward and show the potential she is alluded to have. The other a yearling will either go to your trainer Curious for her 2yo year, or come here and may be the last horse I ever train, or go to Lee Freedman. Chris Waller emailed us asking to train her sister, sadly she had to be put down after a botched veterinary procedure.......so, we are nearly done, how fucking sad is it that NZ has become the rag and bone man of world racing.......good luck with yours mate, in great hands....and showing it!

Usually I'd say, ''new page, give em a go'' however, you guys are closer to it than I.......if that's correct and it's only gone to compliant members of the NZTA, then again, something stinks, if not, then you should rock up as NM alluded to and hold them to account.....shout out from the floor, you should see what happens when Wesfarmers have their AGM and hundreds of stockholders get animated.......it's on for young and old.....the board have nowhere to hide, so go for it I say and if their transparent and reformed you might, just might get a nice surprise....likely ?
